sholey4love:Crime Coast. It's terribly addictive. |
benjaminben:I'm sure you didn't understand all you typed because if you did, you'd understand that 'PAYU' would charge directly from your airtime and sending PAYU to 127 means I'm asking that my data subscription be cancelled and would prefer to be charged via airtime, which is about N51 per MB. |
Nbote:Gloflat is a no go area. I tried overnight and it was sheer horror. |
khalhokage, I discovered I have always been using 'glosecure' as my APN. I tried changing from it to 'glodirect' just now, only to discover that I'm being charged directly from my airtime instead of using my data. In less than a minute, my airtime has been depleted, luckily I didn't have too much airtime on the phone. I may upload a screenshot soon to prove this. I have reverted to 'glosecure' though. |
khalhokage:Never heard of this before. Would give it a try right away. |
0luwasean:Where's the awoof here? It's not a crime to "legally" subscribe to a network's data service just because it is cheap. |
It is no longer a secret that GLO has the cheapest data around for now. Perhaps telecommunication company feels it is too cheap for Nigerians to be serviced as expected. I mostly subscribe to the 4.5gb or 6gb which goes for N2500 and N3000 respectively on my Android device and sometimes share via hotspot with my PC. However, what I have come to notice is that my internet-ready indicator (or whatever it is called) would stay on for days if I don't subscribe, but disappears and become erratic the moment I subscribe to any of the two plans aforementioned. Surfing the net and doing some other things are becoming frustrating. Worst of all, I play an online game using my data and GLO is indeed doing their best to make sure I don't do anything with my data. At first, I thought this was some speed throttling tactics but after studying it for months, I guess it's their way of saying "it's too cheap for you to enjoy every time." This is fast becoming weird and how they do it, I don't understand. Anyone with a similar experience please share. Thanks. |

Beeman1:Social media is gradually messing us up as a people. They were not stopped from protesting but stopped from entering the Presidential Arena. You cannot try that in the south called land of liberty, which is the United States. People protest in front of the White House night and day, but never did it occur to them to enter into the premises. For what We're talking the place that holds the number one citizen of the country. |

BLINGZ88:Discretion for goat again When do you do when you're served goat pepper soup then, do you apply discretion?![]() |
herbie27:Good that you know the source. This is the reason I said we don't need to run into trouble for a meagre 5,000 Naira. |
Kachisbarbie:Hehehehehehe ![]() |
herbie27:Let him help his "beggar brothers", be grateful to God you have more than them and you have more than enough to spare. Quite frankly, you didn't read the thread because the move is not directly from the FG. |
sonOfLucifer:Internet is a need. AFFORDABLE? Well, that's debatable. |
Martins301:AFFORDABLE internet is not a need. While the internet is a need in this present day, it is not compulsory everyone use it. That it is affordable or expensive is subjective. The internet is a need but AFFORDABLE internet is not. I hope you get my point. |
Martins301:Affordable internet kwa? That is a want and not a need. The needs come first as they are crucial to our survival. Wants come when the needs are met. |
cleatoris:It would then explain why our political strategies are backwards as a nation in the 21st century. Most of the abomination that take place in Nigeria all in the name of politics would have seen the political career of many politicians go down the drain if it were to be practiced in Europe or North America. The most thing a man can ever do is to control his fellow man like a robot just because he managed to give him bread. The government does not need create a platform where her people would be dependent on it. In time, we'll forget such government but treasure the one who forever makes us independent. |
thesicilian:No matter the situation, Nigerians will always pull through. It may look hopeless, but we'll pull through. With the situation of things now, five thousand Naira cannot get proper cooking ingredients if you make up your mind to eat something meaningful. The government should create the pond and put Nigerians beside it to fish. We'll be more fulfilled that way. |
cleatoris:If they try the last part of your paragraph. I'll gladly vote against the APC in the next Presidential election and I believe sane people would do the same. That is a cheap blackmail. No right thinking politician should campaign with that. Nigerians don't need the money. Most of those who clamour for the money are opposition thugs who have been hired to remind the masses that the President, while campaigning, promised them 5,000 monthly. We honestly don't need the money. It is better for the government to sum up the money and put it to good use by creating more avenues and opportunities that would benefit those without jobs and Nigeria herself. The government does not need to GIVE people anything just because it want loyalists, rather, the government should DO everything to make Nigerians believe they made the right choice. Nigeria is not Ekiti where a governor would threaten not to give you rice next month if you vote the opposition. We're more than that as a country. |
Ben Bruce has greater ambition in the Nigerian polity. It explains why he tries to sound intelligent on Twitter as his life revolves around it. One should have noticed that he is quick in engaging people with poor educational background/ low writing skills by dishing them what his followers call "epic response" while he moves to avoid sound minded individuals like plagues. Who engage politicians on social media anyway ![]() |
Which reasonable man would assault a female just because he has more authority and power than her and what is the need for demotion when he may readily bully those under him again? He should have been dismissed. I have mentioned it times without number that psychiatric evaluation be conducted on these men in black. Most of them are not in any way sane. I doubt he would have been demoted if it was the IGP's relation that was assaulted. |
thesicilian:You think dishing such meagre sum would help alleviate poverty? No. It would only produce more miscreants who would be overly dependent on the FG. The money should be diverted into more meaningful things. It's not even close to how much some of us spend on airtime monthly. |
