Romance › Re: Advise From Nlanders by Sanchez01(m): 2:15pm On Oct 11, 2014
Most guys can't stand seeing their ladies flirt. They feel threatened by it and that explains why some of us use the aggressive means to make our hurts known. Double standards does not apply, trust me. My recommendation is that you sit your man down, explain things and make him see reasons why your online personality is different from the real you in person. More importantly, I believe it is high time you 'upped' your trust levels because the whole thing bothers on trust. It is worthless being in a relationship devoid of trust. Everything still falls back on you though smiley

I just couldn't hold the laugh when I saw the bolded grin grin grin grin grin... On a serious note, I think it would be better you stay cool and just be you, at least for now. It would be a disaster if you leave her with the impression that 'this guy is loaded!' when it is not actually so. It is only a date, don't act like a maga. This is your first meeting. Play it out nicely wink

All through the scare, bush meat was the only thing I ate and up to this moment, I still haven't stopped. And last I checked, I was never down or feverish. Personally, waiting for the green light to stay off from or eat bush meat is asking me to either eat with or without meat. In Marvin Sapp's voice *here I am, I'm still standing...*

Health › Re: US Feds Issue Rules For Burying Ebola Patients by Sanchez01(op): 9:20am On Oct 08, 2014
It is high time others learnt from Nigeriagrin. 'Ordinary' Ebola that we curbed without hassle. God Bless Nigeria.
Health › US Feds Issue Rules For Burying Ebola Patients by Sanchez01(op): 9:18am On Oct 08, 2014
In early August, medical missionary Kent
Brantly became the first U.S. patient to be
treated for Ebola after he contracted the
disease in West Africa and was transported
to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Soon after, the CDC published a document
titled “ Guidance for Safe Handling of Human
Remains of Ebola Patients in U.S. Hospitals
and Mortuaries ,” which states that the
“handling of human remains should be kept
to a minimum.”
Health officials say Duncan, 42, is fighting for
his life at Texas Health Presbyterian, where
he has been in an isolation ward since Sept.
28. He is in critical but stable condition, on a
ventilator, and receiving kidney dialysis. Last
weekend he started receiving an
experimental drug called brincidofovir.
Seven patients, including Duncan and
Brantly, have been or are currently being
treated for Ebola or exposure to the virus at
U.S. hospitals.
According to federal recommendations,
hospital staff should not attempt to clean
the deceased or remove any medical lines or
tubes. Instead, “the body should be
wrapped in a plastic shroud” and
immediately placed in two thick and
zippered leakproof bags for transport to the
morgue.
What this means for family is likely no
chance to mourn loved ones at a traditional
funeral service.
Dallas County Medical Examiner Dr. Jeffrey
Barnard, whose office handles the collection
and transportation of corpses, did not
immediately return calls seeking comment
for this story. An employee who answered
the phone at his office declined to say if
there was a plan should Duncan pass away.
“I can't give any information out,” the
woman told Yahoo News. “I have to end the
call.”
Dallas County has been the lead agency for
the Ebola investigation and containment in
Dallas, but Thompson said his local team
would defer to other experts if Duncan
succumbs to the disease.
“The state and the CDC will make a
recommendation on how the body will be
disposed of,” said Thompson, whose office
was criticized for being slow to
decontaminate the Dallas apartment where
Duncan stayed when he arrived in Texas
from Liberia.
The CDC recommends autopsies be avoided,
and that no embalming be performed.
It’s been a topic of discussion at the Dallas
Institute of Funeral Service, where Wayne
Cavender is an instructor and administrator.
“Since they don't have a good handle on
controlling the disease itself, they are
worried about an epidemic,” Cavender told
Yahoo News. “So that's one way to help
keep it from going further. Because if we
embalm, we are going to come in contact
with all the body fluids and everything. With
universal precautions we shouldn't, but
accidents happen on occasion.”
Instead, the CDC says, the “remains should
be cremated or buried promptly in a
hermetically sealed casket.” The casket must
secure “against the escape of
microorganisms” and have valid
documentation for being airtight.
“There's really not an airtight casket,” said
Cavender, who has been in the funeral
business for 28 years.
“The sealer caskets that they sell are not a
guaranteed-type of sealing issue. It's not
completely airtight because you have to
have a way to open them up and so forth.
It's not like it's vacuum-sealed,” he said.
But the CDC warns that at no point should
the sealed bags or casket be opened for
viewing.
Duncan had recently traveled to Dallas from
West Africa where the World Health
Organization estimates that Ebola has killed
more than 3,400 people this year. Health
officials say traditional African burials, in
which family members wash the body, has
caused the epidemic to spread faster.
Cavender said he fully supports the CDC’s
stringent standards for this country, but
knows it could cost a family a proper
goodbye.
“Everybody needs to bury their dead and
have a funeral and viewing if that’s what
they want,” he said. “That's the government
saying you can't do that. It's very
unfortunate for the family in that case.”

Romance › Re: Does Religion Really Matters In A Relationship by Sanchez01(m): 6:46am On Oct 08, 2014
Now is the time to have a rethink. Most people decieve themselves by promising my religious won't infringe on yours, only to discover that love is indeed blind.
To confirm this you must ask yourself certain questions. Questions such as;
1. Will my family accept her?
2. Can I truly cope with someone who practices another religion in my home?
3. Will my kids practice my religion or that of my spouse?
4. What would be the effect of different faiths on the kids...

Once you are able to answer these, then you sure know where you are headed. Some people marry people of different faiths and allow them to practice their religion and peace reigns still. Problem is, not everyon can take it.

My Dear, stating the obvious, you're in a nasty situation. Crushes don't last and like someone said you are greedy; you put yourself before your man. I'd recommend you walk out on your crush, call your ex who is a cultist and tell him you want to be alone.
True, the new one won't love you like someone who knows your flaws and strengths, likewise, your old one is also a flop because of what he has his hands on. Both relationships are a mess. Stay alone for a while.

Olayemie:
On the Life Exam seat now, please I need urgent response to any of these posers:
1. What is the commonest and easiest sin that people commit?
Lies. People find it easy to tell lies.

Olayemie:
2. Can you advance with your partner to the altar when God hasn't really said 'yes, go ahead'?
No, I cannot.

Olayemie:
3. Why is the graveyard soil considered the most fertile eventhough, agriculturists can't prove it ?[\quote]

The grave hold thousands of people who died with their vast amount of talents. Hence, a talent, if well utilized, could change not only the user but a community, society, even a country.

[quote author=Olayemie post=26851652]4. Why do people continue in sin...lie, malice, fornication, lust, abortion, drunkeness e.t.c when they have heard and read that God detests sin and anyone that practises any of them will not see God yet they derive joy in committing the same sin without contrition ?[\quote]

That's because most of these people are dead to their conscience. They have considered these things as norms which wouldn't hurt.

[quote author=Olayemie post=26851652]5. Was this world really created on easy architectural plan of comfort and peace?[\quote]

Erhm... Don't really know about this.

[quote author=Olayemie post=26851652]6. Why do most male instrumentalists and musicians fall easily and lose their worth and glory into the hand of ladies?[\quote]

Well, I am one. I have a problem with the use of your 'most'; you're pointing to large section of them, which is unfair. Truth is that they understand that some ladies are attracted to good instrumentalists and musicians, therefore, these ladies fall for them easily. The guys in question see it as 'opportunities' - they use what they have to get what they want.

[quote author=Olayemie post=26851652]7. Why do people praise and celebrate notorious youths in the churches, schools and community at large
Youthshuh It would have been better if you stated 'individuals' or 'politicians' I don't really know about this and I don't think I have experienced one.

Sorry about the several mentionsgrin

No such word exist though, I only made light of the thread. What I mean is those who started off dating for the first time in their lives also end up have bad relationships. It is not restricted to those who have karma issues.

Mynd44: As Christians, it is not right to eat it. Don't even touch it. Just send it to my house and I will dispose of it for you
Lolz, you sure made light of the thread.

Back to the topic, OP, it is not right. As a matter of fact, sharing from the meat is the same as alluding to their deity and object of worship.

An example is seen in Daniel and the three Hebrew boys who refused to pollute themselves with the 'king's meat'. It is wrong to eat of the meat.
Romance › On Ladies And Self Esteem In Relationships by Sanchez01(op): 7:44am On Oct 03, 2014
Relationship for most people today is a huge flop, thanks to some of the female folks.

Unfortunately, a large section of ladies don't know this to be true. Some end up taking the blame for a failed relationship just to make the guy look like an angel. Pathetic if you ask me.

Call it evolution or changing times, it is obvious a lot has been lost with the fast pace of time.

A female friend walked up to me last week and asked me a rather funny question, 'Am I fat?'. I smiled because the puzzle fits... 'He said you're fat, right?' I asked back. 'Yes, he has been complaining that I'm getting fat an he doesn't like it'. She stated.

I just couldn't give her a response because my obvious answer would be a 'NO'. She had actually added weight but it was obvious the guy does not like it.

Funny, I saw her in a Sport wear going for an early morning exercise, which I have never seen her do before. She arrived into the compound and ended up working herself more at the balcony! It was sight, a very funny one.

Just like her, most ladies have traded their self-esteem for love. They hardly appreciate themselves for who they are and would rather love to hear or take the sour pill from a boyfriend whose opinion differs from theirs.

Based on readings, when a guy tells you you're getting fat, it's an insultive way of saying 'can't you emulate the tall straight, sexy looking girls?' And should a guy complain you're becoming skinny, he is as well saying 'why are you all bony?'

Truth is, if you don't appreciate who you are, others would describe you as anything.

Someone who loves you should love everything about you and not just your gorgeous shape, hips, lips or a section of your body.
