Your correct bro but majority of igbo artiste include business in their show thing

So if obaino didnt sell a million which i know is a lie..cos in alaba distributors buy minimum if 100k cds so from ghana to nigeria all he needs is just 10 distributors

Okay lets say it only his igbo people buy the music...consider igbo pipulation

If an urhobo says he sold a million in a week i will doubt

But if igbo or yoruba says so i wont doubt

Its people that buy music
Honestly, I must say that you're way to judgemental and sentimental in your view. You believe sales depend on ethnic groups, hence, your mention of Urhobo is a lampoon on the tribe as a minority. Well, it doesn't work that way. Music cuts across boundaries and ethnicity. Most times, people end up loving songs from other tribes than theirs, it has been that way for a while. There are dozens of one-hit wonder artistes outside and those are the kind of people we have now: you rarely see artistes who strive for the mastery. Being an Igbo artiste does not give you edge over others; 'if your music no sell, na because say the thing fall short of people's expectations'. I reiterate that it is impossible for a Nigerian artiste to hit platinum or near within five days. We cannot attain that feat with our silly attitudes, and Flavour himself is not innocent on this. BTW, I'm Urhobo. I hope that settles it?

One thing i have come to realize is that nigerians have not understood the business sagacity and ingenuity of igbos be it music distribution or artistry

Take a look at igbo stars and how igbo lingo is dominating even ijaw sang ukwu
Bros, your shot is off target. Some Igbo songs are good, yes, but that does not mean Igbo artistes are legends. African China, last I checked, is from the east, where is he nowhuh

Why is everyone acting as though 1million copies is 1billion.. Gents who have cars buy cds.. I bought 2 of the cds (1 for each of my cars) cos I don't like transferring cds btw cars.. Remember am just 1 Nigerian out of 170million people.. I million cds is not impossible..

Pout
You obviously seem to be skipping something or maybe you just don't know it. You might have 'been lucky' to buy two genuine audio CDs but can ou say the same for EVERY Nigerian, putting into consideration the fact that pirates and their acts are not in any way tamed? Before an artiste will make a mark of selling 50,000 albums, pirates would have sold twice the amount with their own versions and some mega-mix under the guise of one nameless DJ.

Some would believe the question is absurd but it is not; when food go bad or expire, they become more toxic, meaning something that was at a time edible has been made irrelevant. On poison, I believe it should stay the same. Ideally, poisons aren't supposed to have expiry dates.

I thought the ladies dishing suggestions on theis thread would know better... OP, she's simply frustrated and tired of waiting. She gave you her number because she liked out from the onset. She's is rather frustrated at this point because nothing is forth coming. I suggest you send her an epistle of a text, apologize for what you did not do and ask her to meet you, that she needs to hear you out. You assumed she knows you love her, which is awful. You don't assume to know things for the opposite sex and vice-versa. Man up and talk to her. It is better she knows what you have in mind by letting it out than have her assume she knows while you're quiet.

Things as these are 'common' among the female folks. Unfortunately, ignoring her won't be enough as that could breed more trouble. My suggestion is that you stop going to their place, at least for the time being, if you enjoy holding your lady while you take a walk and she enjoys the same, then let it stay unchanged. Though your lady could face several troubles in her room, don't get yourself involved, just treat the whole ish as a phase and at some point, call her, sit her down and tètè-a-tètè. It works when she is recognized and accorded 'respect'. She's jealous and hurting, which is normal because her relationship isn't as obvious as yours.
Sports › Real Sociedad Confirm Moyes As Coach by Sanchez01(op): 5:54am On Nov 11, 2014
Real Sociedad have appointed former Everton and Manchester
United manager David Moyes as their new coach, the Basque outfit
revealed on their website late on Monday night.

Moyes was the Spanish side's top target after previous coach Jagoba Arrasate was sacked earlier this month, but negotiations dragged
on over the weekend and former Betis boss Pepe Mel was waiting in the wings to take over if a deal for the Scot fell through.

Real Sociedad had said that a successor to Arrasate would be named on Monday, however, and the Basque outfit confirmed the
51-year-old's appointment on their website. "Real Sociedad have reached an agreement with David Moyes to be the club's first-team
coach until June 30, 2016," a short statement read. The club added that details of the Scot's
unveiling as coach and the names of his backroom staff would be revealed on Tuesday.
Moyes, whose turbulent 10-month spell at Manchester United came to an end in April, becomes the highest-paid coach in the club's
history with wages of around €2m per year. Real beat champions Atletico Madrid 2-1 on
Sunday to move out of the relegation zone and are currently 15th in La Liga, with just
nine points from their opening 11 games.

Break ups does hurt, particularly after being let down by someone you hold dear. Still, several things happen for reasons, we learn from our pasts and that's what defines us. Being described as a 'closed book' is somewhat disturbing, not because you really are but because it has become glaring to others.
I'd recommend that you and those going through similar situations should bury the past in the past, leave the hurts and seek to move on. We are humans afterall and we learn best using the trial and error method.

Bro, where you go na? Longest of times.

I'm doing some more research. Pls supply more answers when you are in the mood to.
Longest time as well, brosmiley. I have been busy and I hope it ends soons. However, I was to make some findings. I hope you find them useful.

The Bible teaches that, as they are able, Christians are to help persons who are in real need and to refrain from charging interest in such situations. We should love
our neighbor and not take advantage of his
financial difficulties. Jesus says, "Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to
borrow from you do not turn
away" (Matthew 5:42).

The Old Testament equivalent of this occurs in Leviticus 25:35-38:
If one of your brethren becomes poor, and falls into poverty among you, then you shall
help him, like a stranger or a sojourner, that he may live with you. Take no usury or
interest from him; but fear your God, that your brother may live with you. You shall not lend him your money for usury, nor lend him your food at a profit. I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan and to
be your God.

The general principle that arises from these scriptures is that we should not exploit the
poor in his distress. Solomon writes: "Do not rob the poor because he is poor, nor
oppress the afflicted at the gate; for the LORD will plead their cause, and plunder the soul of those who plunder them" (Proverbs 22:22-23).

By charging interest, we are in
effect deepening his debt and making him weaker and poorer in the process. We should follow the Golden Rule, considering
how we would feel were the situation reversed. Remember that part of the model
prayer is "forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12).

Although a Christian's attitude should be one of giving, sharing, and helping in meeting the needs of the less fortunate, there are instances when it it is permissible
to accept interest.

For example, if money is
loaned to another individual purely as a business deal so he can make money, then it is not wrong to collect interest, because
both parties are sharing in the profits. It is also proper to accept interest from money
placed in savings accounts, since the money is earning the increase. The interest is in no way hurting anyone else.

Additional Scriptures: Exodus 22:25-27; Deuteronomy 23:19-20; Psalm 15:5; Proverbs 28:8; Nehemiah 5:1-11; Ezekiel
18:5-20; Matthew 25:14-30

Can a Christian involve in money lending business? Is it proper for a Christian to lend out a sum of money and demand a certain percentage paid back as interest?

Brethren, your inputs will be appreciated.

Thanks.
No, Christians should not delve into usury. Typically, I would have backed my claim with Scriptural references but I'm a bit off today. I hope you research further though.

Yes, it matters and it matters A LOT. Love is just some part of a union, agreement and understanding takes the rest. For instance, what happens to a family when both partners fellowship in a church with contradictory views?

The Bible confirms it in Amos 3:3 'Can two walk together except they be agreed?'

An indcation of a strugling union is when a man worships in a church different to the wife's.

Sports › 'who Carry You Come?' Young Nigerian Footballers Speak On Nepotism by Sanchez01(op): 10:40pm On Oct 20, 2014
I came across this piece on Goal.com and thought I should share. The website has been exposing hideous corruption practices which has eaten deep into our footballing system.

Since we published the article about corruption at the grassroots on Saturday, we have received a couple of emails from young
Nigerians who have been
affected by the malaise.

It is important that we bring to the attention of Goal readers the voices of these young men who have been frustrated by the system.

Our plan is to continue publishing these articles as they come so that we might in our little way prick the consciences of these
coaches and sporting directors who deny young people of reaching their dreams in the
football space by shutting them out at football academies.

Even though we have left the entries as much as possible in their original state, they have
been edited for clarity.

“My name is Bamidele. I am a young footballer. I am a Nigerian. I played at several football
academies and grassroots football clubs but due to my family background, my dad is late,
but my mum is the one struggling for me to be a footballer. She has tried her best for me to achieve my goal but due to [the fact that]
she is a woman and she did know any coach, scout or agent to help me, I just go to many football trials and screening without being
noticed. Sometimes they don't even allow me into the trials stadium or premises. It has
saddened my heart all these years.
I TRAINED EVERYDAY OF MY LIFE TO BE A SUPERSTAR, SO ONE DAY I WILL HELP MY COUNTRY. I have gone to Nigeria U17 trials but
due to [the fact] I did not know anybody who will stand for me... But I have one thing some don't have, which is GOD ALMIGHTY....AND I KNOW I WILL SURELY ACHIEVE MY GOAL AND
DREAM...BECAUSE I WILL NEVER QUIT.”
By Dele Anibaba

“Many times at Youth level, after screening session what you will start to hear is the slang "who carry you come" [who is your
godfather] not minding your performance.

Those ones who one Alhaji or the other Alhaji sent will be picked and the sons of nobody will be dropped. You will start to think, "Am I not a Nigerian"? It is painful but it has happened to many of my friends.”
By Eze Paschal

“Good day. I am Chimeziri Emmanuel. I was so happy when I read your write up about
Joseph’s story on Goal.com. I am very happy because that is what is happening in our country Nigeria. In Nigeria everything is
politics and connection. I am 16 years Old. I play with an academy in Anambra and the name of my academy is Harkdoves Football
Club. I am a right winger. I have tried all my best to play in professional leagues and to be
a professional footballer but because I don't have the connection my dream and destiny is dying small small. And that is what is happening to many young talented footballers now. Like me if I can get a sponsor I will be
very happy. Thank you all once again. Keep it
Up.”
By Chimeziri Emmanuel

“I have been playing football since only God knows how long, I was so good that when most of my mates see me they ask me why
have I not been in Europe.

In 2012 there was a screening in conjunction with [a telecoms
company and a Premier League club], the registration cost 3000 Naira. In each of the centres 5 players were chosen. On the day of the screening there was well over 1000 participants. After the whole screening for 3 days I made the final 22 man list. We played
11 vs 11 at Old Parade Ground Abuja. After everything, one of the coaches pulled me to one side and said I'll have to provide 50
thousand Naira if I am to make the final list. I couldn't even afford my transport to the
screening centre not to talk of providing such huge amount of money. That was how I lost
that opportunity of going to [England] for a trial which with my ability I knew I'll definitely
pass. Since then I gave up football and now work in a factory where I get paid 15000 Naira every month.”
By Emeka Nwachukwu from Abuja

Do you have a story about being shut out of a football academy because you didn’t have a
godfather or rich parent to pay your way?

Write to us via nigeriadesk@goal.com and we
will publish it. Help us make a change.

Sis, the truth is; yes, you're way too old for him, maybe not on your part but he sees you that way, irrespective of the love you profess. If you ask him [I mean the 25 year old] deep down if he could marry you, his obvious answer would be 'No' and that's because you're too old for him and his parents may frown at the idea of him getting married to someone who is way older than him. My suggestion is that you find someone who will not see you as a sugar mummy and find bliss. Wish you the best smiley

Sports › Football Is Dead In Nigeria - Okocha by Sanchez01(op): 4:38am On Oct 12, 2014
Former Nigeria captain Austine Okocha has refused to blame the
either the Super Eagles or the head coach Stephen Keshi for their 1-0 defeat to Sudan in Saturday’s
Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Khartoum. A ferocious header by striker Bakri Abd Elgadir
in the closing stages of the first half which left goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama no chance ensured the hosts got the better of the
African champions who put every foot wrong in the encounter.
The result means Nigeria now walk a tight rope towards qualifying for the biannual
Africa football showpiece billed for Morocco in 2015.

According to Okocha who lamented via his twitter handle following the Eagles’ defeat to
the Falcons of Jediane, the result was a confirmation that Nigeria football is no where to be found while making a case for the ‘big
boss’ and his players.

"Anyone that blames Keshi or the boys is short sighted. Our football is long dead and gone.
This is just the confirmation”
Okocha tweeted.

[b]Anyone that blames Keshi or the boys is short sighted. Our football is long dead and gone. This is just the confirmation.
-Jay-Jay Okocha (@IAmOkocha) October 11, 2014[b/]

The reigning African champions are now placed at the base of the table in Group A with a point from three matches while South Africa
with 2-0 victory over Congo away from home are ranked first with seven points.

Nigeria will welcome Sudan to Abuja in next Wednesday's match as they attempt to revive their now slim chances of reaching Morocco in January.
