OP, I'm a Great Ife alumnus; please, stop getting involved in unnecessary PRs just for show. I see no reason why this should be on NL. If you want to make this known, Great Ife students would love it on Editorial boards on Campus, save you're not a campus journalist. This is the most horrible PR I've seen so far.

Nice digs. Still, I would not want to stick to the stats. I have my reservations, and that is, Germany will end Brazil's hope of proceeding to the finals. Most times, the Brazillians seem lost playing non SA teams. The present Germany team is more compact, they function like a machine; in which all the parts must play its role to work at best. The 2002 team that destroyed Germany marked the end of an era of great Brazillian team spirit and football. The present is a shadow of the former team. I'm tipping Germany to go through, irrespective of the records.

Two great footballing countries lock horns on Tuesday in a quest to proceed to the final. The host must conquer the greatest obstacle on their way to playing the final. The Germans, however must see the host out of the tournament on their soil. An uphill task, I call it.

Politics › Let’s Meet In Court, Fani-kayode Dares APC by Sanchez01(op): 6:40am On Jul 02, 2014
https://www.punchng.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Femi-Fani-Kayode-360x270.jpg
A Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, on Tuesday, said he stood by his comments about the All Progressives Congress and some of its leaders, noting that he looked forward to meeting the party in court.

Fani-Kayode, who recently defected from the APC to the Peoples Democratic Party, had during an interview with Channels TV, on Monday, accused some APC leaders of being sympathetic towards the Boko Haram sect. In a response, the APC threatened to sue Fani-Kayode if he did not retract the comments and apologise to the party.

In a statement on Tuesday, Fani-Kayode said he would never apologise to the APC or its spokesperson, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, for saying “the truth.”

Fani-Kayode said, “I wish to make it clear that I stand by every single allegation and assertion that I made in the said interview and that I believe strongly that the APC comprises at least a handful of Boko Haram sympathisers and questionable individuals who have at various times expressed a certain degree of support for Boko Haram.

“Though he denied it, it is on record that Lai Mohammed protested about and opposed the proscription of Boko Haram by the Federal Government in various newspapers on June 10, 2013 and he described such proscription as being unconstitutional and/or extra-constitutional and wrong in various newspapers.”

He added that Mohammed, on behalf of his party, also opposed the idea of Boko Haram being labelled as a terrorist organisation by the United States of America.

Politics › Delegate Seeks Death Penalty For Election Riggers by Sanchez01(op): 6:30am On Jul 02, 2014
A delegate, Alhaji Aliyu Abdulkarreem, has said the National Conference is full of those he described as “active election riggers.”

Abdulkareem, who spoke while contributing to the debate on the report by the Committee on Political Parties and Electoral Matters in Abuja on Tuesday, recommended that stiffer penalties must be put in place to discourage election rigging in the country.

He said the outcome of election rigging in the country had been bad governance in Nigeria.

He, therefore, suggested that election riggers must be shot to serve as a deterrent to others.

Abdulkareem said, “I want the conference to look at the issue of rigging in the country. It is giving us bad government and that is why we are having bad governance. Election riggers must be shot. This conference is full of election riggers and I therefore move a motion that election riggers must be shot in order to serve as a deterrent to others.”

His contribution seemed not to go down well with majority of the delegates as they laughed, while others openly said “no” to his recommendation.

In his contribution to the debate, Mr. Akin Arikawe, a retired permanent secretary, suggested that the recommendation of the committee that election riggers must be banned for 10 years before being allowed to contest any elective office should be adopted.

“Election riggers must be banned for 10 years before being allowed to contest elections. Election riggers must be punished. We must be seen to be serious and we must take actions that are decisive,” he added.

In his contribution, another delegate, Senator Nnamdi Eriobuna, said it was unfortunate that most political parties lacked ideology and that they end up deceiving the voters.

While saying that political parties must be forced to have clear and distinct ideologies, he also said that any public office holder who defected should be made to lose his or her seat.

Politics › A Meta-commentary On The Ekiti Election by Sanchez01(op): 10:26pm On Jul 01, 2014
The result of the recent governorship election in Ekiti State in which Ayo Fayose of the Peoples Democratic Party upstaged the incumbent governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, of the All Progressives Congress, has generated a wide range of armchair commentaries. The present offering is a meta-commentary, that is, a commentary on the commentaries, which seeks to clarify certain misconceptions about the Ekiti election, while cautioning against wide speculations.

To start with, a few analysts and pre-election pollsters, if any, knew the extent of internal problems that Fayemi had within his administration, with civil servants, and with teachers. Those who knew probably never thought that they were so serious as to translate into his electoral failure. Nor did anyone fathom the electoral implications of his disconnect with the electorate. True, there were signs of the disconnect, but there were often misrecognised. Finally, the implications of Bamidele Opeyemi’s breakaway from the APC and his candidacy of the Labour Party were underplayed just as his last minute pact with Fayose was unanticipated.

It is all too easy to blame those close to Fayemi for not speaking truth to power by drawing his attention to his shortcomings and loopholes in his campaign strategy. The truth is that political appointees often function in a sycophantic relationship with their bosses. Besides, Fayemi’s intellectual posture and the insertion of his wife into the power matrix were said to have discouraged those who had useful advice for the governor.

True, Fayemi did a lot of good for Ekiti in infrastructural, industrial, and human capital development, but he was ready game for negative campaigning because of the problems listed above. Besides, how, for example, could one dismiss the impact on the voting masses of the negative campaign that Fayemi’s cabinet members and contractors were “imported”, that is, hired from Lagos or overseas? Local politicians often frown on the idea of hiring from outside, even when it is the right thing to do for specific positions or jobs. Against this background, it was easy for Fayemi’s supporters to argue that there was nothing new after all that the governor brought to the table that Fayose didn’t do in three years as governor.

It is interesting that Fayose’s brand of grassroots politics, including the distribution of rice and other material goods to voters during the campaign, is being viewed derogatorily as amala politics or the politics of “stomach infrastructure”. What is the difference between bags of money distributed to the elite by practitioners of “Champaign” politics and bags of rice distributed to the masses by practitioners of amala politics? We should not criticise one without criticising the other. Besides, we cannot deny the need to provide immediate succour for over 70 per cent of the population living in poverty. That, in fact, is why the government has poverty alleviation measures.

What is often forgotten about the so-called amala politics is that the amala eaters are the more steady voters. Besides, as Fayose put it in a post-victory interview, amala eaters do not ask for contracts. The elite, who do, often do not vote.

This leads to yet another interesting recurrent issue in the commentaries, namely, allegations of electoral fraud. To be sure, most observers concur that the election was free and fair but argue that the process was not. Something or someone somewhere in the electoral process must be responsible for Fayemi’s failure to win even his own local government. Some have even gone further to doubt the authenticity of the election, arguing that just over 300,000 voters could not be said to be a good representation of Ekiti’s population of over 2.3 million.

I was stunned like everyone else that Fayemi lost so badly. Nevertheless, it remains unclear to me why others have chosen to cry for Ekiti people who have peacefully acquiesced to the poll results and moved on. The people knew who they voted for or against. Given the state’s electoral history, don’t we all know that Ekiti people would have been up in arms now if the majority of the voters thought that their candidate’s victory was denied?

Those who complain about the small population of Ekiti voters in the governorship election seem to overlook the fact that it is usually a small fraction of the entire population that often votes in virtually every democracy. Only a few million of India’s over one billion people voted in the last presidential election. Even in the United States, the bastion of modern democracy, fewer people often register to vote than are qualified; and even much fewer registered voters often exercise their franchise.

It is equally premature to extrapolate from the Ekiti results to the party affiliation of the Ekiti people or their voting pattern in 2015. Fayose’s victory did not suddenly turn Ekiti people to “umbrella” carriers. They voted specifically for or against particular candidates and not necessarily for or against their political parties. Fayose’s victory came from either voters who set out to vote for him or those who set out to vote against Fayemi for various reasons.

That’s why speculations about the outcome of the presidential election in Ekiti are premature. True, a Governor Fayose would work hard to facilitate the presidential election in favour of the PDP, it is premature to reach any conclusion about the fortune of the APC or PDP in Ekiti in 2015. In the light of what we witnessed in the Ekiti governorship election, presidential candidates and not political parties may well be the deciding factor in 2015. Besides, six months or more is a long time in presidential electoral politics for current predictions to hold.

Although the Osun State governorship election is around the corner, speculations about the possible influence or bandwagon effect of the Ekiti election on that election must consider the realities of Osun politics. Three things are clear: Osun is not Ekiti. Rauf Aregbesola is not Fayemi. And Iyiola Omisore is not Fayose, although they both caught the same bolekaja figure. Aregbesola’s popularity in Osun is not a fluke, while Omisore’s negative baggage tops his positive attributes.

In a way, Aregbesola has Fayose’s mass appeal, but without Fayose’s negative baggage. True, Aregbesola has delved into some controversial projects, but the controversies were politically motivated, being drummed up by the opposition, precisely for its possible electoral value. The truth is that Aregbesola’s policies, programmes, and projects are as widely accepted as he is popular.

One important issue that Bamidele’s candidacy brought up is the need for the APC leadership to change their method of selecting candidates for office. In the Ekiti case, the APC leadership made a tactical error as they did in Ondo State in 2012. Rather than merely anoint Fayemi as the party’s flagbearer, a primary should have been conducted, which the latter could still have won. The consequences of candidate imposition turned out to be more than the rancour that the APC leaders wanted to avoid in a primary.

At this point, I am inclined to support Fayemi by respecting his concession of defeat. And move on. That, I think, is what his supporters should do. And that’s what the APC should do.

Politics › Jonathan Is Petty, Presidency Full Of Liars – El-rufai by Sanchez01(op): 10:06pm On Jul 01, 2014
https://www.punchng.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/elrufai2-360x223.jpg
Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nasir el-Rufai, has described the President Goodluck Jonathan as petty and incompetent.

The chief of the All Progressives Congress also believed the Jonathan-led government has reduced Nigeria to a laughing stock in the comity of nations.

“Unfortunately we have a president who is petty. When God has elevated you to the position of being the President, how can you stoop so low as to be concerned about who becomes the Emir of one part of the country which you govern,” said El-Rufai on Tuesday in an interview with SaharaTV, while responding to a question on the insinuation that President was against Mallam Lamido Sanusi being installed as the Emir of Kano.

“Unfortunately, he descended to that level; it is so sad, and it is a reflection of the kind of people we have running our country. The Federal Government did everything to frustrate Sanusi Lamido as Central Bank Governor, removed him abruptly from office, and got people to publish fictitious stories about him. “

El-Rufai argued that all these happened because someone had the courage to say money was being stolen from the country’s treasury and calling on the authorities to investigate and people asked to account for it.

He added, “When God is set to elevate you, no one can bring you down. Whether Jonathan likes it or not, Sanusi is the Emir of Kano.”

El-Rufai debunked reports on the Internet that the new Emir had apologised to Jonathan, describing the report as false.

He said, “Sanusi that I know will not beg anyone for anything when he is right. There is nothing Sanusi has done in office that is not proper, and there is nothing Jonathan could have done to stop him from being the Emir, since the kingmakers had already recommended him, and the governor has appointed him.”

On the issue of the abducted Chibok girls, El-Rufai said, “If Nasir el-Rufai is involved in Boko Haram, what are they waiting for? Arrest and prosecute me.”

He claimed that the Presidency was full of “liars. They only know how to point fingers to anyone for their incompetence.”
https://www.punchng.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Elrufai-333x300.jpg
The former FCT minister added, “Instead of sitting down and solving problems, they blame others to divert attention from their incompetence. The primary responsibility of any government is to provide security. They have failed woefully. They are focusing on blaming people. If you know who is behind terrorism in APC, you are the government, you have security agencies, you have intelligence agencies, you have the army and the police. Then what are you waiting for?”

El-Rufai further challenged the present administration to fix the current security challenges in the nation or risk being “crucified” by the opposition.

Sports › Keshi Resigns As Nigeria's Coach by Sanchez01(op): 10:39am On Jul 01, 2014

The Super Eagles bowed out of the World Cup at the last 16 stage on Monday following a 2-0 defeat to France and the manager has now stepped aside from the hotseat

Stephen Keshi has resigned as head coach of Nigeria following their World Cup elimination at the hands of France.

The Super Eagles could not progress past the last 16 of the tournament, losing 2-0 to les Bleus on Monday thanks to a Paul Pogba header and a Joseph Yobo own goal, both of which came late in the game.

Yobo, who picked up his 100th cap against France, announced his retirement to gathered media after the match, although his coach was reluctant to publicly confirm he would step down.

However, Keshi is believed to have told Nigerian players following the Afcon champions' exit that he will leave the Super Eagles hotseat with their World Cup now over.

Keshi has stepped aside before only be to convinced to return, after the Confederations Cup last summer, but is set to move on to pastures new, with the post as South Africa coach identified as a possible alternative.

Sports › Goal Editorial: Should Mikel Obi Be Dropped Against France? by Sanchez01(op): 12:45pm On Jun 30, 2014
https://static.goal.com/429100/429171_heroa.jpg

When considering Nigeria's star performers this summer, John Obi Mikel's name is startlingly absent.

Despite the midfielder's experience and many qualities, he failed to impose himself in the Super Eagles' opening three games and has, at times, been accused of slowing down the team's play and lacking defensive discipline.

Forgotten is the vitality and innovation of the Confederations Cup.

In this great debate, two of Goal Nigeria's writers debate the Chelsea man's continued presence in the heart of the Super Eagles' team.

"Keshi can and should bench Mikel"
“Nigeria qualified for the second round of the World Cup despite defeat to Argentina.”

That statement could have been totally different had results in the other group game gone differently.

That is, if Iran had beaten Bosnia and Herzegovina with the same margin as they lost, 3-1, the Super Eagles would have touched home by now.

John Obi Mikel's underperfomance would have been the highlight of a very sad tale.

In the second round, however, there is no room for second-best teams.

If Nigeria are to defeat France on Monday, the Super Eagles cannot afford to field a player who has been second-best with every touch, every pass, every tackle, offensively and, quite surprisingly, defensively, throughout the tournament.

The Chelsea man is not one to go under the radar in a match. And certainly not in the World Cup where every game is high profile and every minute spent on the pitch is an opportunity to shine on the grandest platform of world football.

https://u.goal.com/427100/427149_heroa.jpg

Is Mikel trading on past glories?

No doubt, he’s a senior and respectable member in the team based on caps and responsibilities. However, Nigeria’s persistent faith in him has, and could, cost the team more. The national goal is far greater than one player’s ego.

His underperformance against the Albiceleste wasn’t a one-off. It also had nothing to do with a second yellow card which would have ruled him out of the Knockouts. First, the rules were changed, which I’m sure the team is aware of. Secondly, his decline predates the tournament itself.

It’s hard to see why Keshi cannot bench him. The Big Boss can and should. There could never be a ‘perfect timing’ to do it.

This writer was one of those who raised placards protesting Michael Babatunde’s inclusion in the team to Brazil. It was the same for when he was included in the win-or-burst match against Bosnia at the expense of Victor Moses—the ‘Messiah’ of the Super Eagles.

Babatunde shocked everyone with a strong fire-for-fire performance that attracted praise from all, even his critics.

The Big Boss has stated that everyone in his team is capable of doing the job as he has shown with the Moses and Babatunde episode; even goalkeeper, Vincent ‘The Cat’ Enyeama can be replaced...

If we continue to rate Mikel on past glory and popularity levels, we would be doing ourselves a huge disservice.

Let the best man play.

The United States said on Friday it had decreased its surveillance flights in the search for the about 219 schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram, but added that the overall effort was unchanged due to more flights by other countries.

It stated that it had no idea of the location of the girls, noting however that there is no letup in the efforts to locate and rescue them.

“We don’t have any better idea today than we did before about where these girls are, but there’s been no letup of the effort itself,” Pentagon spokesman Rear Admiral John Kirby told reporters, according to Reuters.

Kirby said the same level of effort was being sustained now through international involvement.

A US defence official speaking on condition of anonymity said American flights had been reduced only after a body of intelligence had been gathered and that the cuts had been offset by the British and the French support.

Kirby denied a suggestion that US flights over Nigeria had been reduced to accommodate increased US surveillance over Iraq, where Washington is flying unmanned and manned aircraft to gather intelligence about Sunni insurgents.

He said some of the resources that were being used in Nigeria had been diverted from other missions in Africa and could now be used elsewhere on the continent.

Officials declined to say how long heightened U.S. surveillance over Nigeria had lasted.

Asked whether it was just a week or two, the defence official said, “No. We were building this baseline for a good period of time.”

US surveillance flights over Nigeria were now intermittent, the source said.

US military personnel are in Abuja helping to coordinate the effort, and some 80 others were sent to Chad in May to support the surveillance operation.

Chad is northeast of Nigeria and borders the area in which Boko Haram is known to operate.

In the last month, US officials had played down expectations about a swift rescue of the girls and stressed the limitations of intelligence from surveillance flights.

One US official voiced concerns that Boko Haram might have booby-trapped areas where the girls could be held, and there had been reports that they might have been split up into groups that were not being held in one place.

The defence official said surveillance alone would not lead to a resolution. “It will take the Nigerian piece of the equation with their own sources and human intelligence coupled with the other forms to really understand the picture,” he noted.

In an opinion piece in the Washington Post on Friday, President Goodluck Jonathan said his government and security services had “spared no resources, have not stopped and will not stop until the girls are returned home.”

Politics › Re: "You Missed Nairaland ? No, This's What You Missed. by Sanchez01(m): 6:22am On Jun 30, 2014
TRUTHTELA: It feels good to see this forum back online. NL, keeps me informed about what's going on in Nigeria & it has helped me to realize the level of hatred that exist in Nigeria. I wasn't surprise about some peoples reaction cos NL, was offline, but I'm disappointed that thousands of Nigerian youths don't have a LIFE. NL, is their social pass time, by commenting trash on every topic, refreshing pages, being first to comment, calling names & insulting Jonathan & co.

Now I know why there's so much unemployment in Nigeria. Folks don't spend their time in improving themselves in acquiring meaning skills. Hence, they're not employable. How can someone that's busy with job or family, etc, say this " when NL, crashed I felt like I lost a friend, I'm addicted to this site" & all worth not. Are these folks for real?

Instead of spending your energy calling names and insulting Jonathan, some of you guys that are less busy can create a BLOG like this, it's no BIG DEAL. Give us an alternative to Nairaland, be competitive, this IT age, Bella naija, was in existence before Linda Ikeji, started blogging, but look at how Linda's blog became a BRAND & it's growing into something bigger. CNN, came, but now we have Fox, NBC, BBC, MSNBC, CCTV, ALJAZERA etc, what are they all doing? Same thing, news, news, & news!!!

Someone should think out of the box & think less of Jonathan & his other rogues that destroyed Nigeria. Personally, Nairaland, is like LIB, Thisday, NYtimes, huffingtonpost, foxnews, chinese daily, spiegel, dailymail, politico, dailybeast, WSJ, The economist & tons of other online forums that I visits, read & make a comment and I move on with other things in my life.

Those of you sweating cos NL, was offline & saying that you visited other sources of news & it was crap, no, they ain't CRAP, rather, YOUR CRAPPY, UNCOUTH, TRIBALISTIC & DEBASED opinions can only be uploaded on NAIRALAND. Other news sites have administrators that will review & move Your comments to his trash bin. The beauty of NAIRALAND, is that " IT's SO DEMOCRATIC." You're free to publish whatever & whenever. You know the irony? Those of them that enjoyed the DEMOCRATIC nature of nairaland, are praying for military intervention in Nigeria. Whether it favors you or not, or the leader is not your tribe, DEMOCRACY IS A BEAUTIFUL THING,( ask ekiti people, they voted out someone, simple. Can you kick out a military dictator?)
I don't really understand your purpose for putting this thread up. You tried making points but you ended up killing your messages by leaving the subject matter for something irrelevant.

Have you ever heard the sentence 'It begins with you'? Nigerians might lack ideas but I see nothing wrong if you take a bold step in giving us something extraordinary. While you are at it, I'll recommend you map out how it will help the lazy youths, according to you. Lead, others will follow you.
Nairaland General › Re: I Believe I Know How Nairaland Was Attacked...and How Lindaikeji's Blog Will Be! by Sanchez01(m): 11:04pm On Jun 29, 2014
ITbomb: This is the most objective post I have seen since the beginning of the crisis.

I remember a user creating a thread on what he had observed and Seun ask him for screenshots, I'm not sure he provided it. About 4 more people complained about some unknown pop ups on that thread.

I'm sure the admin thought it was a code issue rather than a direct assault and didn't take precautions.

Linda is and would be more disastrous
True, a fellow created a thread to raise the alarm and Seun stepped in immediately, but just to ask for screenshots which the fellow could not provide. I provided about four screenshots, to which Seun did not respond to, rather, he was active on threads of Game of Thrones, blah blah... The truth is my laptop got infected and almost crashed; and I'm only recovering from the headache it caused me. I cannot tell what actually happened but NLers did show concern before everything fell apart.
Sports › Eagles Get $3.8m Ahead Of France Game by Sanchez01(op): 2:26pm On Jun 29, 2014
Super Eagles training boycott on Thursday has paid off for the players as the Federal Government immediately sent down $3,850, 000m (three million, eight hundred and fifty thousand dollars) to the players in Brazil.

The Minister of Sports Dr. Tamuno Danagogo, is expected to arrive in Brasilia just in time before Nigeria face France in a second round game.

SUNDAY PUNCH confirmed from a sports ministry official that President Goodluck Jonathan approved the payment after speaking with Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi and team captain Joseph Yobo via the telephone late on Thursday. He said that Danagogo was already confirmed to arrive in Brazil aboard a Sunday flight from Lagos.

He said, “I am aware that he already has received all the necessary papers to carry such amount of cash and the protocol team is set to receive him at the airport on Sunday. The players will receive the money on arrival or first thing on Monday before the match.”

Our correspondent also learnt that the money is $250,000 above what the Nigeria Football Federation had calculated and agreed with the players. The NFF had said they would pay them as soon as FIFA paid them. The money is usually paid to countries four months after the World Cup.

The Eagles had met with the NFF in their US camp, pressing for the money. It was learnt that goalkeepers Vincent Enyeama and Austin Ejide and Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi have been at the forefront of the fight for the cash the players called appearance fees.

It was the same players that led the strike on Thursday which forced the entire team to miss the training session on Thursday and Friday morning at their base in Campinas.

The Senate President David Mark had mediated when he visited Brazil and had assured the players he would raise the matter with President Jonathan. But team captain, Joseph Yobo, insisted the players got the money before the opening game against Iran.

SUNDAY PUNCH confirmed that the Federal Government took the decision to bring the money to Brazil without the knowledge of the NFF.

The scene iN Brazil is playing out like that of France ’98, where the Eagles held nearly an all night meeting with the Federation on advance payment before theIR second round match against Denmark, which they eventually lost by 4-1.

Literature › Poem: Again by Sanchez01(op): 11:21pm On Jan 10, 2014
AGAIN
I
His words bloated my ears,
Like a blob of hope it stilled my fears...
His words resound.
The thumping of my heart abound.
I am a fool! I have lost all!
I can almost hear his call,
His so-called true patroitic call,
Persuading to let go my all,
'I went to school with no shoes!' He cried,
'Of course, this must be him' I sighed
Failing to hint him above for a sign.
And to the truth I thought he'll bind.

II
Of the south-south region I came.
Where nature give earth's full gain.
Oh! And of course, from there he came,
Not an ounce an idea he'll bring me pain.
... Now my heart hurts,
Like a fiery flame, deep within it burns.
A moonslide, landslide, seaslide victory it was,
When his hand was raised in victory, of course.

III
On the first hour, of the first day, of the first month,
'Luck' gave to us a divine flower
Sent from the Federal and principalities in power,
Like rot in our mouth, it was sour.
The uneducated called it 'subsijin'
Some called it 'somesijin'
Erudites among the untaughts called it 'stopstidy'
And of course the elites brand it 'subsidy!'
He subsidized our hopes like others had done
And now I stare at the faceless clouds again;
Gnashing my teeth for being made a fool... Again.

NB: This piece is one of my numerous works and I'll sure appreciate criticisms cum analysis.

25omega: POSTER

you need to be as harsh as possible to her so she can understand that there is no chance in hell for you to get with her. Even go as far as telling your mom whom she got close to to tell her to stop coming around. You have a woman already and you should never make your self available to even have a phone convo with this potential home wrecker.
Thanks Bro... I really find this useful. Just that my mum and myself have a familiar trait; we don't get hostile to those who come around us. I already told my mum the whole issue just that she believs that I can figure out things for myself. Maybe I'm just too nice, I'll definitely try out the advice. Thanks a lot.
