Obaseki need to remember what happened with Amosun/Akinlade and Ambode in 2018
They all forget so soon.

The direct primary is a crazy swift way to end the dream of any guber aspirant, whether incumbent or budding.

I am sure Obaseki never knew that the APC will go the way of the DP in Edo State.

The APC decides how its representative will be chosen and if it settles for the direct primary. Obaseki should pack his things and get ready to leave.

Sorry, NO ONE PAYS FOR VIEWS unless you are doing CPA.... then that is entirely different from blogging.

Also, adsense VLOGGING pays for views...

Apart from these, none other.
I don't understand how you ended up arguing and defeating yourself in an argument.

Almost every ad network pay for views (CPM and eCPM). CPA is an online advertising type that only fetches money when clicks translate into sales. I wonder why you think it is different or not different from blogging.

CPA, CPC/PPC, CPM, etc are different forms of online advertising models that publishers can latch on and choose as their monetization methods.

Hello people, please i need clarification on something. if am to use wordpress to design a website, i believe i will paid for d domain & the host(also pay for some templates and themes). if am nt to use wordpress i will have to have knowledge of html ,css and python so as to design a website. so the question is which is easier and less costly and is my summation right?
WordPress is recommended. You can build any website with WordPress is you are quite knowledgeable with some tools/plugins or themes and how best to manipulate them.

You'll equally need to pay for hosting and domain even if you're using an HTML website or one built using other CMS.

WordPress is cheaper, depending on the type of website you have in mind. You only need to be careful to avoid being hoodwinked.

You'll need to use a premium theme to be able to get the best out of your design, and that includes using pagebuilders.

Is the FG just realizing that prices of products, goods, and services have been hiked? This plea is coming late as far as Nigerians are concerned. It would have made sense if these prices are regulated but then, this is Nigeria.

So I should contact my web server
You need to force https on the site since it already pointed that. To do, paste this code in your .htacess file:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]

Ensure the line RewriteEngine On is not repeated twice. In case the line already exists, simply copy the rest of the code without it. If you have never messed with your .htaccess file before, make sure to download a copy before modifying it.

I think the contact form will handle the rest.
No, it won't. Don't expect the AdSense team to take care of your ish. While you might have taken all contents down, you should, as a matter of urgency, confirm that the violation has been fixed at your end.

Plus, AdSense is short-staffed right now, no thanks to COVID-19. So the wait might take longer before a human will properly review your site. Before then, it is likely that your account might have been banned before then.

I am tempted to share AdSense's email address to have your account saved but I am not permitted to do that. Just be proactive enough to have your account saved.

Site issues

I have delete all the content on the site, uploaded new sitemap to my google console when I apply for the unban still getting the same error, I need help, cause this as made me stop blogging, I use AdSense to feed.
Click on the drop down after the date and confirm you've fixed the issue. If it surfaces again, then contact AdSense via the contact form on your dashboard.

Solacemk:
Hi Nairalanders. I have a question regarding Google Adsense, please someone should reply me.

I have a website that I'm running Adsense on, i recently posted an article on the site and i boosted the article on Facebook, so I'm getting huge traffic from Facebook and my earnings increased. Please the question is: will Google consider this invalid traffic or paid traffic? Is it legal to boost a post that's running Adsense?

I was earning $2- 3+ but now is $6+ after boosting the post. I'll post a pic of the earning. Thank you. I'm waiting please.
You're already violating AdSense's traffic policy. Bulk of your traffic are not organic and you stand a chance of having your AdSense disabled via invalid traffic.

Your site is deemed unfit for AdSense if it is incapable of generating organic traffic. It is best you stop your Facebook campaign as soon as possible because AdSense believes the users generated from there are only interested in your content and not ads.

To them, you are deliberately influencing your visitors and manipulating your impressions. Your account is standing on one leg as it is.

Lol leave that for isokos to decide. I guess you're culturally almost the same but pree them. I'm ibibio, we share the culture things with Annang, Efik , Oro and eket but it'd be quite annoying if we claimed them just because we're the largest group. Just enjoy the urhobo-isoko alliance like that, slowly una go gum. That's how we're doing it here with our sister tribes.
I understand the existing rift with you guys and the many scuffle that happen over boundaries and what not but it is not the same with yours. The Isoko tribe is a sister tribe but a sub-group of the Urhobo ethnic group. No one is laying any claim. There are free resource materials littering cyberspace.

Nwanyiogwashi:
Really? Tell that to isoko people
I don't need to tell it to them. I have been following the thread a while and your arguments have been nothing but weak and watery.

I miss the days of the staunch bigots that will deeply research and put facts up to suit their narratives. You have done just the opposite on this very thread while basing your submissions on emotions and affiliation.

It won't hurt you to read a bit and understand the why and how before arguing.

Not all Igbo languages are the same and there is a supposed central Igbo despite the many variations, just like with the Yorubas with varying ones. Heck, the language of those in Ilesha is not even the same as those in Ìfẹ́.

I get the divide and conquer tactics but if you are going to do so, put up materials to back up your claims. Learning while arguing isn't a lose in the end when you don't win. At least you get to say you caught something eventually.

Isoko is not an ethnic group but a sub-group of the Urhobo ethnic group, just like Uvwie and Okpe.
Christianity Etc › Re: Aggressive, Violent, Cool, Calm, Which Is The Best Way To Pray As A Christian? by Sanchez01(m): 10:46am On May 17, 2020
Pattypatt:
It depends on what you want from God. If you want protection from evil and to scartter the kingdom of darkness, aggressive prayer is perfect, then for your day to day operation, going in and coming out, calm prayer is okay.
God is not deaf and neither is he dumb. If we will not yell or shout aggressively at our biological parents before getting stuff, I see no reason why we should with God.

When are told to cry to him, it does not mean we should scream on top of our voices, slam, dunk and jump up and down before he'll answer us.

Those with deeper understanding of God enjoy the best of Him during QUIET TIMES. A time when it's just you and Him and your heart is laid bare with a clear focus.

Every Nigerian pastor takes an aspect of the Bible to suit their narrative, which is why some churches will tell you that you aren't ready to have your prayers answered if you aren't wailing and crying that your voice becomes hoarse before leaving church.

Prayer is prayer and it should be an intimate period of connecting, whether to fellowship, petition or make requests. No one should shout or scream at God for whatever reasons. It is wrong.
Family › Re: Please Help Look Into This Family Issue (I'm Loosing My Mind) by Sanchez01(m): 7:47am On May 17, 2020
Bestinstinct:
Religion ruined the family. My grand dad would have lived longer if not for religion...Deeper Life in particular. They made him forfeit all he worked for. Told him all he made was via sin. OldMan didnt live long cos everything became sin to him. So, be practical and leave religion out of this. May you find your dad. Just take him in, you see that your brother eh.... Just ignore him. He will one day grow and if he doesn't, karma will visit him anyway. As for your mom, she needs help too. She's not fine. Report a case of missing person at the nearest station to his residence and post your dad's pics on online. Please keep us updated.
The negative effect of religion in homes these days far outweigh its positive aspect. I know of a family that worship with one of popular prayer church around. I don't want to mention any denomination for reasons best known.

Long and short of it, the supposed head of the family started seeing everyone on the street as either a witch or a wizard. Anyone who dare respond to him automatically becomes unfortunate for the week as he will sing the person's name, pray with it and ask that his god destroys the person by fire. He went nuts even was taken somewhere. He returned worse. His wife became his prime target and then the whole graduated into physical abuse. Luckily for the woman, her children, all grown now, joined forces, repelled father-prayer's attack and locked him in one of their rooms.

When he was let out, he called his kinsmen to a meeting and the woman was shamed, trust patriarchy.

Today, he has simmered and no longer attends the church but the home is never the same. His children treats him like a ghost in the house. He runs his own errands himself. His six children barely go to church these days, save one.

I am not an Atiku fan, but he is making sense, Buhari was saying he will sell off some Presidential jets when he becomes president till today he is yet to sell one. Sell the Damn jets and fund the budget, but oga is bent on borrow borrow, Those Jets plus Abacha loot are enough to fund the budget let's not even mention revenues coming from IGR, Customs etc
Any politician that isn't in government will always make sense. Buhari and the APC made greater sense until they were voted in and realised that they are frauds.

It is easier to say things and sway the ever gullible masses to your side and do something else the moment you get into office.

Webmasters › Re: Can A Sacked Programmer Or Developer Retain Access To The job by Sanchez01(m):
contumely2:
Please I have a question.

If you engage the services of a programmer or web designer and you aren't satisfied with him afterwards and want to pay him off amicably.
How do you ensure he doesn't harm your site or have extra unknown access to it thereafter?

And how do you ensure he hands over all login details etc?
Make him understand you're willing to pay him off on the condition that he'll surrender everything in his care pertaining to the site. This includes domain registrar details, Webhost details, GSC if the login detailes are new, theme or template login purchase, if possible and change all usernames and passwords immediately particularly usernames that allow email addresses.

For the site, it is recommended you set a 2FA to prevent unauthorised access. Wordfence allows this for free.

Modified:

In response to the clown below, contumely, it is important you set up a 2FA to prevent unauthorised access. You alone know the 2FA and since it isn't one, it is impossible to get locked out... And in the event that you do, you can always log in to your cPanel and take down the security plugin.

'False' is your consolation? Tyson was not only beaten, Holyfield kept him at bay with multiple left jabs that Tyson not only bit his right ear off but also punched him in the back when an upset Holyfield walked away from him.

The funniest part, ONLY TWO POINTS WAS DEDUCTED FROM TYSON'S POINT AND HOLYFIELD STILL WON. grin

Tyson is a natural boxer, The game cant and would never leave his system.

Saw dudes moves of recent and I was like "wat da fvck"
You guys hype Tyson way too much. He is a good boxer, no doubt but not as strong as Holyfield. Holyfield won their two encounters in the past and I still vividly remember the 'Tyson bite' of 1997. He was pummeled so hard that he resorted to thug moves to edge Holyfield.

Holyfield was a better fight. He just wasn't so lucky as Tyson.

Yes are well experienced from your write up and it's well detailed enough.
Your last part though is right but I still think there are some keywords in the health niche that aren't yet competitive.
Well, we learn everyday and never stop.

Lastly like i said before there are string that I have seen new sites pulled and within 6 months they saw Huge traffic... Expired domain still works last time I check.. But to get a good one.. One need to spend above 1k$°
I study the trends of expired domains a whole lot and I have a major one that someone just renewed. I'm talking a domain name with over a DA of 36, if not more, with thousands of backlinks.

However, there's always a downside to them. No sane person will drop a domain name with high authority except such is no longer in good standing with AdSense. So it is possible buying an expired domain what will rank and compete fairly but the idea of monetization is another thing to worry over.

I wouldn't even advice anyone to spend much on ranking a website save the person is engages an SEO expert.

That said, one can rank for low competitive health keywords but that means users search isn't all that high because if it was, the big players in the health domain would have munched at the keyword(s).
Webmasters › Re: Google Adsense Not Showing On My Website by Sanchez01(m): 4:18am On May 13, 2020
If you changed your theme, first be sure that the code is sitting in your new site header.

If you are sure it's there, be sure the ads.txt file is still in your website's root folder.

If it's there, then look out to check whether or not your ads are limited.
