Amahjosh: Yes you can but you just reduced your chances of getting your visa. Things are getting tougher and as you can see there is tension for visa applicants that are suppose to resume this july. Subsequent visa applicants needs to learn and take note. It is better you move that 10m to your parents or siblings for the 3 month and instead of uncle. You can even share 2m in your personal while 8m in the other account. All the best. 2 Likes |

akinola12345: If you through this part 3, it will take less than an hour, you will have all the necessary info you need to submit for visa. If you now require more complex questions, you can then ask. |

Amahjosh: People here are very busy waiting for visas. The good thing for you is that the money will be there for three months. Make sure the account is busy during that period through withdrawals and desposits. And when you want to print. Choose dates when the balances are huge during the three months. Thats all. 2 Likes |

guadete: Not to discourage anyone, uncles and aunt can sponsor, it is a secondary source and you need to convince CO more. It rarely flies for canada again and soon Australia too will lock shop. Yes he can sponsor you but your uncle and your mum will need to provide their passport pages, birth certificates and any other evidence. Landed property is important but more important points are 1) previous educational background and experience 2) planned course of study and level in australia 3) a strong sop of your plans and intentions 3) previous travel history 4) family 4) available source of finance. 5) Luck 3 Likes |

Kelvinkate: You in a fix because age is very important for your assessment and this disparity is not too good as you will also need to submit your transcript for PR application after nomination. My suggestion (1) Do a court affidavit for the age difference (2) Also try to see if you can talk to your school that the age is wrong by showing them your passport and other documents, maybe they will give you a letter even if they cannot change the dates. |

queenbet: The most important stuff 1) educational background and qualification 2) work experience 3) your occupation and assessing body (search google for australia sol list) 4) ielts or pte score If you can get positive assessment of your skill, employer momination cam be arranged by your australian siblings while you also queue for independent and family nomination on skill select. There is another thread for these stuffs, it is better you go there in order not to derail this thread. It takes time but it is worth it. |

Travel / Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by santity100: 10:29am On Jul 15, 2017 |
@queenbet. You and your spouse should check the skilled migration website for your options instead of the msc You have siblings in australia, they can sponsor you on skilled migration which will make the process faster than independent. Your siblings in Australia can also talk to migration agents in australia for possibility of employer nominations. Submitting another study visa application is a hardcase but possible if you have strong sop amd financial evidences as you can see what is happening to loads of applicants still waiting here. Visa refusal is a bad experience which only the applicant can understand. |

queenbet: Leave scrutinise. When it comes to visa applications, the application must be very straightforward. The fact that your spouse family is sponsoring you for masters instead of your spouse is not straightforward. The fact that the sponsors are australian citizen sponsoring you instead of their immediate family and all of you will be travelling together is also a GTE red flag. Stuffs happen for a purpose. |

queenbet: Most times you cannot really fight a battle for refusal on study or visitor visa. The best is allow water to cool this one and reapply at a later date. Brother in law sponsoring you is not very convincing. The best sponsors are your parents, spouse, siblings and secondary can be uncles and aunties. Sorry mate. I always advise applicant to avoid applying instead of gambling their chances with flimsy evidences. |

Jiggsbaby: Thats nice sir but that information might not apply to study visa applicant from assessment 3 countries. Infact it is GTE red flag even some tafes wont accept the application to save the student the stress of visa. Nah for developed countries, their citizen can study what they like any time and moment with different pathways. 2 Likes |

abdullahi45: If the school doesnt require soa and the embassy request nko ? Most people still expecting visas when schools have resumed which is very rare in Australia cases. Things are getting tougher again and AL1 assessment might not work for us due to activities of our brothers and sisters. If your target intake will be february 2018, i will advise you to just get a good bank statement ready for your school and embassy. Also, apply very early for your admission and visa. 1 Like |

Being polite is a very good virture for all of us though frustrating sometimes when some people come here and start asking questions like list of schools in australia, what is the visa fee , how do i apply for admission etc.. when information are available all over the internets. social media and online public forums just pack all kind of facless people together. 6 Likes |

bestdiddy: If financial institution can take so long based on @rooney, then how long do you think the universities or polytechnic will take ? The most easy for them to verify is the waec or neco due to scatch card. Documents from our sides are hard to verify compared to other developed countries when you can verify easily online. Based on experience embassy will only ask banks the following questions in addition to sending the bank statement back to them Please answer yes or no Is the bank statement issued by your bank ? Is the owner of the account aware that his bank statement is been used ? Is the bank statement with the same with what you have on your system ? A genuine bank statement will be yes to all three. It is advisable that people desist from using fake documents has it affects genuine applicants. 1 Like |

chimax1: It is better you drop this your option of using your friend as a sponsor. It is very flimsy and doesnt hold water. Even schools that have strict GTE requirement might not issue you COE. Its a gamble my friend. |

davodyguy: Yellow card is different from medical examination. Yellow card is compulsory for all short and long stay visas while medical is not needed for short stay visa unless they contact you to provide maybe due to old age or something. Medical examination is what you do at IOM and the yellow card is what you get at the federal health facility close the lagos airport. You were going for conference and you were mentioning medicals at IOM. Thats the reason why i mentioned you should check their website for the business visitor visa checklist |

abdullahi45: Yes you can study those courses in australia so far you have minimum of 2.2 and i think @haliru that just got his grant is studying similar course for his msc. Meanwhile, by going to google to search list of all universities in australia, you can get the website of all the schools and by checking you you will get info about their courses and fees. Tuition fees in australia is high and ranges from 24,000 AUD and above per year. Most schools will require you to deposit half of that amount before they issue you document (COE) needed for visa. Yes your uncle can sponsor and if you read this current part 3, you can get lots of tips. Yes you can work while you study. |

davodyguy: You are going for conference, why are you here Most of the people here are going for study visa in a university or college. Why cant you go to Australia Immigration website and read the requirements for your visa. They even have a checklist for you to determine all the requirements for your visa class when you input all your info. For the IOM, why cant you input IOM Lagos into google and you will get their website and download the requirements. |

bellong: Please dont say others are misleading people because you have different opinion. I understand how it feels when you are on study visa while others came on PR, dont forget that there is high probability that you will still be waiting on skill select if not study visa. You people mention PR as if once you have posive assessment and with good english and you register on skillselect, you will just get nominated like that. What about the classifications of our degrees not comparable to australia by some assessment bodies. Occupations in accountings and ict has almost reached ceiling in the first quarter and points to be nominated and selected was also increased. I know people that have spent years and months without being selected especially occupations except the ones mentioned by the man (yeyen) above. If you have the means, the best is study route instead of wasting time while policies and systems becomes unfavorable. If you have a spouse, good for you as you can support each other. 1 Like |

bellong: If they travel together, they can support each other while the husband starts his PR process immediately or even before they arrive. Things are changing and very soon it will become difficult to pull through skill select. Most occupations has started reaching ceiling. |
