Sports › Re: Diego Maradona Buried As Argentina Grieves (Photos) by Santsal: 1:15pm On Nov 27, 2020 |
GreatrAnalyst: You are very very right.
Maradona is more adored than Messi. Things that elevated him beyond human status are the achievements (for his Country for example), skills, and time/period. Time helped him because football has not become as this during their time, and because he was exceptionally good compared to the people of his time, he dwarfed all of them, unlike now that stars are very very many. Pele's generation was like 20 years before him, and till that time, the only person comparable to him was Pele himself. So their types were not many. Diego particularly led average teams to trophies. He was exceptional...despite his shortcomings, the glory still speaks!
Imagine if Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Zidane, etc didn't exist during this era, all the glory would have been for Messi alone. What time period were you referring to. In his time you had, Platini, Zico, Socrates, Franco Baresi, to me there were better players in the past when football was HARD. these days it has been watered down to the advantage of strikers and midfielders. Some of the great players of the past to support my point are, Marco Van Basten, Guillit, Rikaard, Maldini. Even in Africa then you had Roger Milla, Lacder Bellomi, Taber Majer, Odegami. Just like boxing the past is better than now |

Celebrities › Re: My Friendship With Ozo Is Over – Nengi by Santsal: 12:53pm On Sep 28, 2020 |
light099: I think that's the best decision from her. Ever since Ozo came out of that house, having seen how the relationship with her dragged his reputation in the mud online, his love for her might have been transformed into mild hate. Best thing is for the girl to stay away from him, at least for now.
And for you folks saying that Laycon should avoid Nengi, y'all must have suffered a short amnesia. Although I don't watch BBN, but with what I see on Nairaland all the time, this same Nengi has clung unto Laycon since day one and being his good friend, quite before anyone knew the likelihood of him winning the money. Despite his looks, this girl gives her ass to him free of charge, to rock many times. Perhaps the most beautiful girl in the house clinging to someone people might regard as the ugliest in the house, that's just an example of love lurking in strangest places we least expect. I think they really like each other.
The Laycon of a guy should treat Nengi well. Laycon would be stupid to go back to Erica, while Ozo would be stupid to go back to Nengi. You can realy see and analyse issues. Agreement with you is total. I think she likes Layton the type of way that can sustain a relationship. While she is infatuated with Ozo because of his hunky good looks |

It's a scam to enrich the pension firms. If a retiree has 20m un his account, he is allowed to collect 25% 5m. And the rest spread over 15 to 20 yrs. If am am allowed to collect my money and I invest 17m of it in fixed income the rate of return annually can carry a retiree for life and the lump sum still left for his children to enjoy |

Igboid: Iberibe group.
Amaechi is not an Igbo man neither is he from South East.
Isiguzo can never try and make use of his Isi. Why do you guys try so hard to devide the Ibos, there are Ibos in Delta state and Ibos in Rivers just to mention a few. The name they bear testifies to this. That we have our differences due to efforts to devide us does not make them less Ibo. The Yoruba speaking part of Kwara are not Yorubas then because they are in North Central |
Politics › Re: Yorubas Are The Most Industrious,Richest & Educated Tribe in Nigeria & Africa by Santsal: 2:56pm On Aug 16, 2020 |
You should be ashamed to compare your tribe to a people that started from nothing after the war. If such comparison can be made it means the Ibos have really done well for themself starting from nothing and no Federal patronage even till these day. No other tribe in Nigeria can survive it. |

Sakamaje: Why must you think in such a backward manner? You sound like you are waiting for Lagos to retrogress while other states are opening up. If that is your wish then you will be disappointed, because if the emergence of Abuja couldn't derail the progress of Lagos, your pessimistic prognosis won't either. There's something called 'shared prosperity', that should be your thinking unless you are an enemy of progress. Igbos like you should learn to accept that others can also prosper in life without igbo input. Well said. Igbo and Yoruba must stop this online fight between them. This type of fight is what keeps those that want to devide us at the top. The primitive premodial sentiment against each other is just alarming. |

richiemcgold: nothing would've made them quit the army if they're truly passionate about the job. Real soldiers don't quit. This can only happen in a country where unemployment, instead of passion, pushed young men into military career. I'm not saying the allegations they made against their superiors and high rank military officers are false, but a real soldier wouldn't have quit. His passion for the job would've overridden those challenges. His passion to get killed, should over ride common sense |

Nigeria is lost. No man can recover her. The Police, Judiciary and every facet are all complicit in this. The only remedy is competition. Restructuring will bring in competitiveness among the federating Zones, Eat and only eat the YAM of your Zone. With a very weak centre the people of your zone won't spare you. Lax and other Zones will be far ahead. Competition among the federation Zones is the only key |

If the Church in Nigeria decides to shutdown its operations and businesses, Nigeria will instantly become a seabed of unemployment. Many people (ignoramus) do not know that the church is the largest and most impactful NGO in the country. Mosque is totally irrelevant.
A revolt from the church will lead to total collapse of government, plunging the nation into chaos and uncertainty. It is the church that has glued the country to its citizens and provided hope and jobs for those who had given up on governance.

ThatFairGuy: Obaseki is the architecture of his failure
Abuja Gist
Adams Oshiomhole did not know Godwin Obaseki from anywhere. It was Aliko Dangote, based on his closeness with both, that took Obaseki to Oshiomhole as his preferred candidate for Edo State governorship.
Oshiomhole accepted Obaseki and supported his ambition. He staked everything for Obaseki to realise his ambition. With Oshiomhole's support, Obaseki won the election.
The moment crisis started rearing its ugly head between Obaseki and Oshiomhole, Dangote approached Obaseki and advised him to tread cautiously on his fight against his benefactor (Oshiomhole).
Obaseki told Dangote, "this is politics, not business". Dangote was embarrassed and left Obaseki.
Now, Obaseki was feeling the heat, and his second term ambition threatened; he approached Dangote to mediate and appeal to Oshiomhole on his plight. Dangote told Obaseki, "I AM A BUSINESSMAN; I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT POLITICS". An ungrateful blood even when you help him to climb will seek to push you off from the cliff. They are everywhere in the family, community and close friends. Obaseki's role in the recent push to oust Oshimole's from his role as APC Chiarman is a case in point.

Over 110.000 Americans dead of Trumpvirus and sadly many more to die. You think any president in America can win reelection with that. Thank God you are in Nigeria not in America. You are definitely in love with CNN based on your views. No harm intended. Before Covid 19 the economy was on a record high, Covid came which was no fault of Trump and ravaged the world. Forget the noise on CNN the voices of the silent majority are unheard who love what Trump is doing. The Evangelicals, the Working class all want Trump. Among all his faults putting America First and the Economy is not one of them. This is what the working Americans want. |

1. Why is Bill Gates (a college dropout with no medical background) suddenly the spokesperson for global health? 2. Why is the vaccine (which we have no idea of it's long term effect) being pushed to be mandatory? 3. Why is Bill Gates pushing for digital identification of those who have been vaccinated (ID2020)? You have shown some level of understanding of the issue, why is Bill Gates behaving as Mr Know All. Some theories out their postulates that their is a vaccine even before the virus found its way out. It's all a grand plan to out the one identity mark. Why is the new NCDC bill before NASS pushing for a mandate vaccine for all Nigetians. I am beginning to believe those who are pushing these theories |
