sacx: Since you are willing to help, why not take her to a teaching hospital near you with competent professionals. Let a proper examination be done on her legs and establish whether there is nerve damage of some sort which could be the cause of the problem. It doesn't cost too much to make consultation. Exactly! |

pocohantas: They paid back, I have to give them some credit for that. Some after few days, some right on the agreed day. Then there was one I told to shun it, after he told me his salary and proposed repayment plan.
I don't lend what I can't forget, but if I wanted to be forgetting- it won't be a loan. It will be a dash.
My problem is, why do they keep coming back? Is there a rule that says, lend once and lend forever? Mine never pays back.. so i stopped. |

ladymarshall: First, CIC agents who answer calls are not VOs or even the case analysts who review your application and provide recommendation. VOs make the final decisions and weighs the evidence of each case. Each case is different.
Post-AOR, don't be calling CIC like that to get advice on grey areas or what to do. They're not your friend or fellow applicants, they work for the government, not you. Also every call you make and the details are recorded in your gcms notes. The last thing you want to see is @bold recorded in your notes, that would raise the VO's suspicion. Raise your concerns here or your AOR groups. Or better still, tweet at IRCC. And your case is not peculiar, so don't worry, provide the alternative docs as proof. Also remember to check page 1 and the search thread regularly. All the best. Thanks for the info. |

@bold will complicate your case. Your employer's clients cannot write a recommendation for you. Only your employer or co-workers. Only self-employed applicants require clients recommendation, so leave that out. But carry go with your other docs. All the best in your exams. Thanks I appreciate. Ps: Nairaland keep banning me for commenting here haba! |

Prettiepearlz: Hey Sarang, what exactly do you mean by document? All you need from him is a reference letter stating that you worked in the role you want to claim experience for. That shouldn’t be too much of a big deal for him or her. If he/she accepts, you can draft it, then let him/her print on the company’s letter head and sign. And if he/she is not willing, you may have to write it yourself and get it notarized and also show evidence that you requested and he refused, make sure you communicate with your former boss via email so you can print it as an evidence and then you can support with a letter of explanation. But why wouldn’t he/she give you a letter stating you worked there though? I mean any document that showed I worked for her. She doesn’t wanna sign. I communicated by whatsapp and I am going to submit that. I will get a coworker write a reference letter for me as well, notarized and I will write an explanation letter, I will add photo of me at work then, and I will get two clients letters as well, notarized. So far this is what I am working on. Thanks guys I appreciate immensely If anyone know anything else I can add, please let me know. I am giving this a shot. Going for exams on Saturday for English test. Prayers fam! |

Prettiepearlz: Oh really? I thought you can, I have read one or two PPR stories where they wrote it themselves and got it notarized and of course with a letter of explanation. Well Sarang, Topsmamen can help with good advice in this situation. Thanks. From what I read it’s better for a coworker to write it on my behalf and I’m doing just that, then get it notarized |

Tina26: won't be surprised if visa officers start to reject it. Because many people have forged work experience and claim to be paid in cash. Wes introduced verification due to fake transcript . They also introduced waec and people still send fake waec to wes only for waec to spot it during verification. When people decide to cut corners innocent people would suffer. For those earning cash try and deposit all or part of in the bank, get your employer to register for paye or pensions too. I know someone who forged 5 months experience and claimed to be paid in cash and was later rejected I hope people don’t forge stuff though. Mine is legit. Very. I will do my best to convince the Officer. I can only try |

Jennypharb1: If you go through page one you'll find links to other parts where people have used work experience where they were paid in cash. Especially parts 3 and 4, it worked so just package your application accordingly. Employment letter, ID cards, posting letter, promotion letter, letter from a supervisor stating you were paid in cash etc. Just look out specifically one page one of those threads. If I find it I'll also paste the link here for you

I have a question guys. What if my only proof of a 3year work from 2011-2014 before I left for Canada was paid only with cash. I can only get a job letter but is this enough? No bank statements, no payslip. I intend adding an explanation letter. Is there any suggestions at all or is this okay?
And please can someone send a sample detailed offer letter to me so I can send to my HR to use as reference. Thanks Udahchidi@gmail.com
Still waiting for response guys |
