Superwave: I don't feel sorry for people like you with poor judgement. I am not perfect but when I see struggling single mother especially those who never wanted the pregnancy n out of foolishness chose not to abort cos of religious or whatever conviction they have I just shake my head. One cos you tot having a child is play play n 2 for not understanding aborting unwanted pregnancy is giving your self a second chance in life.
Check the rate of single mother n tell me if you can count 3% of them in Nigeria thag are not vengeful, filled with regret n bitterness. Did you think they brought all that from heaven ? You will learn that is all I have to say to you. I have close to 50M in cash n asset n I still know what am going tru taking care of a single child. You that u can't care for a child don't have common sense to have protected sex. This too 100% |

abdullahi45: You are correct.
I really hope someone/people can help her without asking her to give up her child. A business and shelter would be enough to sustain her and her daughter. Where are all indefatigable people of goodwill on nairaland?
Please someone should put her distress on twitter after her consent, for people who can help. I really don't know how to push tweets to a wider coverage, she really needs help and we as humanity must not betray her.
If we can all agree, I am personally willing to help, she must not be made to lose her child because of financial mess, that will not only leave a hole in her heart but will be a permanent source of emotional and psychological trauma.
Let's up please!!! This too. 100%% |

spiralwedge: Mizflo, Give her up for adoption. That's the right thing now.
It will be tough at first, but best you adjust and face your life squarely while she's in safe hands.
If you don't, you will suffer her for nothing and it will affect you getting the best out of the remaining years in your life.
Never be tired of this life, always make use of new opportunities even if it is not conventional or popular. In this case, your opportunity is to be able to make something out of your life while your daughter grows elsewhere to be an adult.
You will be fine, she will be fine too. Which state are you?
Modified: I just read other people's comments above mine. Please ignore them. They sit comfortably typing without empathy and with the typical Nigerian mindset.
Adoption is very good, your daughter will have people she can look up to as parents/guardians. She needs that foundation at least till when she is 18. You are merely 21 and this is your chance to restart your life. If you don't take this chance, you will suddenly reach 40, depressed, broke, miserable and suicidal. Please take this chance, especially for your daughter to have a home. 100% concurs 100% |

Mgtowmonk: there is nothing you girls offer in that "scam" called marriage that I don't get as a single bachelor. You girls know deep within your heart's that it's all a ploy to hoodwink young gullible men into paying your bills. If it was in the past where there wasn't much technology, then I can say marriage benefits a man...but in the 21st century?? It's a huge rip off!! Then don’t marry. But quit typing trash. |

teekay021: I will try to be straight with you because I am also a victim of extortion, I leave in canada and I have large friend base as a matter of fact I champion most of the gathering we organized before I left Nigeria. My case is strangely someone who deliberately put himself in an uncomfortable position and protray myself as a friend in need and family to them all, even my first savings was shared among many . I think what we get wrong is gifting someone money without asking. I swear to God I have sent out money to someone while I never get a thank you message back I felt compel to do it over and over again . I'm still doing a bit but I have converted 80% of my resources to be solely for me and my family alone . You should know and learn how to say No. you will be amazed as they approach you with sense of entitlement and command . A friend of mine just got a venza ( on finance ) he upload the pucture with a native attire ( agbada) to his whatsapp . Immediately his i box was floode with requst message . You should do your best but remember you come first and you can't satisfy everyone. Hahahaha You are sending money to people who cannot say thank you Don’t you work hard for your money? There are good people in this life o.. |

I have a very active charity foundation for the support of less privileged, which they've benefited from too many times. My wife had earlier recovered from sick shortly before the second time ease of covid19. My major problme is the pressure and contstant demands. Its not even up to 48 hoursi sent the senior one money before the younger one demanded for money for his shop again. Thank you for your concern. Like i said earlier, insults are welcome. Thank you everyone. Don’t even listen to that guy. |

Raikishi: 1) Select an amount you want to save every month without thinking of anybody but yourself
2) Take out expenses for the month (transport, feeding, bills etc., school fees for children if any)
3) Take out 10% of what is left for unforeseen requests from close family (Mother, Father, Sister, Brother no friends whatsoever in this category)
4) Do you have anything left?
Yes: Based on priorities (your priorities) distribute this to help someone that you know needs it and that GOD will bless you for
No: I for talk but... Follow this strategy Stop being stupid mahn.. These people are just using you If nah them dey abroad they probably wonmt remember you ever. |
