With the commencement of production of Dangote refinery, he will likely double his networth in the next few years. That refinery will be a major game changer for his networth.

That is one rule of making money, find out what the people want and provide it for them, money will naturally flow to you.

This is the height of it, wasn't this bad during the era of GEJ. However must everyone fold their hands while things get spoilt simply because Buhari tenure have not elapse.

What happened to the path of the constitution that says if the president is not doing what he is supposed to do, he should be impeached? Is Buhari above impeachment, is he bigger than the Nigerian project, is him staying in office more important than the securing of lives and properties?
How much longer can a people be dociled and keeping enduring wickedness just to please one man and a certain region??

Politics / The Cause Of Disunity In Nigeria by sarris(m): 12:18pm On Mar 26, 2021
If you collect 100 black ants and 100 red ants, put them together in a glass jar, nothing will happen, but if you shake the jar violently & leave it on the table, the ants will start killing each other. Reds believe that blacks are the enemy while blacks believe that reds are the enemy. However, the real enemy is the person who shook the jar.

The same in our society, some groups of people are setting

Men against Women
Tribe against tribe
The poor against themselves
North against South
Christians against Moslems
And so on........

Before we fight each other, we must first ask ourselves:
*Who shook the jar?* ‍♂️...

Food for thought.

Business / CBN To Start Selling Dollars To Bdcs In Order To Force Down Exchange Rate. by sarris(m): 9:37pm On Aug 27, 2020
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says it will resume weekly forex sales to Bureau de Change operators from August 31.

In a circular signed by O.S. Nnaji, director of trade and exchange department, the apex bank said BDCs must not exchange the naira at more than N386/$.

The apex bank said its decision to resume FX sales to BDCs is to enhance accessibility to forex “particularly to travellers” since the resumption date for international flights has been announced.

Musa Nuhu, director-general of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), announced on Thursday that international flights will resume on September 5; shifting it from August 29.

Providing a breakdown of the rates, the CBN said: “Please be advised that the applicable exchange rate for the disbursements of proceeds of IMTOs for the period Monday, August 31 to Friday, September 04, 2020, is as follows:

IMTSOs to banks: N382/$1
Banks to CBN: N383/$1
CBN to BDCs: N384/$1
BDCs to end-users: Not more than N386
Volume of sale to each market is $10,000 per BDC.
The apex bank said FX sales to BDCs will hold on Mondays and Wednesdays in the first instance.

“The BDCs are to ensure that their accounts with the banks are duly funded with the equivalent naira proceeds on Fridays and Tuesdays,” the circular read.

“Banks shall continue to sell foreign currencies for travel-related invisible transactions to customers and non-customers over the counter upon presentation of relevant travel documents (passport, air ticket and visa).”

Sports / Re: Real Madrid Are La Liga Champions by sarris(m): 10:03pm On Jul 16, 2020
Theonejabulani2:
Real Madrid are now officially champions of La Liga after the win against Villareal moments ago. The capital side were two points behind Barcelona when La Liga resumed last month but they have since stormed to a 10 match winning streak, going 7 points ahead clear in the process. This marks Los Blancos 34th league triumph and it was a rather unusual one with most of their wins coming off the back of a rock solid defence which has only conceded 23 goals in the league. Following the departure of talisman Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, Real have struggled in front of goal and with last summer star signing Eden Hazard unable to yet make a significant impact due to his injury troubles, thereby placing more importance on a meaner defence. With the final league game to be played on Sunday, Real Madrid will now set their sights on a comeback in the Champions League away leg against Manchester City.
Hala Madrid
Barca gift them the trophy, with those two straight draws and finally losing to Osasuna today, was the last straw that broke the Carmel back. Coming back was not that a bad choice for Zidane after all.

I want to write a review of my car buying experience with Amdman.
I started following this thread since May last year, and when i was ready early this year i decided to take the risk by contacting Amdman.I told him my choice of car and he found one for me. After test driving, he assured me it was a good buy.I made part payment, and the car got to the shipper 7th February. The car left Canada 14th of March, got to Nigeria 15th April. Between this time, i had already completed my payment, and anxiety was building due to the ravaging pandemic causing delays, anyways i was also tracking the vessel, but the point is ,i was thinking Amdman might ask that i add more cash due to the fluctuating exchange rate, but he did not.
finally after about two to three weeks the car came was cleared.
My observations:
His cars are affordable.
The car i bought is as clean as he said.
the engine is in top condition.
Only issue i noticed when bringing the car back was the AC wasn't blowing very well, but i just changed the resistor and its fine, the dashboard lights too weren't working,i had to replace the bulbs, also one of the fog lights was broken ,which has been replaced. I actually wanted to wait till i have done a thorough wash of the interior and love-vendor it before writing this review, but i just decided to go ahead.
So my assessment of Amdman:
He is a sincere man ,a man of integrity, he is truly rare.
He is straight forward in his dealings,if we had more of him in Nigeria,i think things might be a bit better.
On communication ,i would say i had a bit of a challenge there, because i noticed most times when i drop chats ,it doesn't indicate that he has read them, so what i did was ,anytime i noticed him online,i call him on video or audio, and my messages drop immediately, and he responds to any inquiry i make,no matter how silly it might be.
so on my personal scale of 100%, i would score Amdman 90%
Thank you Amdman for getting me my first car,I am satisfied and happy.
God bless you.
i forgot to add, the car came with 4 extra tires on alloy wheels, complete accessories in the boot, car manual, spare key.
Never had any issues with the customs on the way too, only normal sorting.

Congratulations Man for your new wife.

How did he betray the south? S it by force to support someone?

So also it is not by force that things should go his way in order to actualize his 2023 political ambition. Whoever the North brings in 2023, SE and SS supports no matter the party.

If you think the Governorship of River State is the same as the President of Nigeria, then you need to re-examine their Power and roles again and how they affect Southerners as a whole.
I do not disagree with you that it is possible that those two connived and did what you allege.
But that is a small issue compared to the looming disaster that will eclipse Southern Nigeria, if we allow this 'everything Northerner" to continue for another eight (cool years after 2023.
Imagine, there is a Gas Pipeline Buhari is building to take Gas from SS to Kano and onward to Niger Republic, when many Power Plants in the South are shutting down as a result of NO GAS, and he is doing nothing about it.

What does that tell you?
Every new development in Nigeria, is restricted to the North now, all appointments, all foreign Aids, on loans are to develop the north but the South only contributes resources, while its lands are being pillaged for RUGA. undecided

Didn't Tinubu know all these when he betrayed the south in 2015

Without any shadow of doubt, Jonathan is principally culpable for Buhari's emergence.

How weak could a man get?!

All the security reports were there for all to see.

All he could have done was disqualify both himself and Buhari and the whole would have still applauded him as the hero of democracy...

But what did he do?

He cowardly threw the country under the bus by his lack of balls/cojones and patent weakness.

Now we are all sucked in into the morass...

That would have been a master chess move to disqualify himself and Buhari.
