APC are really angry that they don’t control the mainstream media and the social media today. Two areas they used against GEJ in 2015. Their fortunes are sliding and it will only get worse for them as Nigeria draws closer to the 2023 elections.

This is disinformation.

US has the highest collection of conventional weaponry in the world.

More than 11 Aircraft carries to project air superiority over a distant territory, best air force in the world with plethora of stealth toys all over the place the list are endless.

If you think the US military doctrine is based solely on nuclear weapons stock pile then you aren't really aware of the US military might.

As for comparing the Nigerian military might with the US when there isn't corruption, I guess your hopes are just over the moon. Do you know that the US military budget which is heading to the 1trillion dollars mark a year is more than the Nigerian national budgets since 1990 to 2022 combined?

Is this the military you think you can suppasse in just a few years?

This small play wey him play with you, and him you cut chain. Must you mention the budgets?

Very annoying, anyway don't blame them, blame poverty. A hungry man will do anything for money.

The politicians have weaponised poverty so much that a hungry man can sing the praise of the man that killed his father because of few scrumbs of food.

We must get it right in 2023. We must all join hands to liberate these set of clowns from the claws of these wicked men.

Also note that the diasporians payed to listen to Obi in those meetings abroad.

2015 APC brought a well known book haram sympathizer as their presidential candidate, 7 years down the line look at the result.

Today they have gone to bring a man that was hiding the mandala Christmas Day bombing master minder when Goodluck was looking for him as their vice presidential candidate, and they are telling Nigerians they will fight security.

Now the 7th wonder of the world is that there are those supporting these people. In 2023 We must all say a big no to APC and their terrorist government.

Even if you don't like the man because of his tribe or religion, you should like him because of the economy. Of all 3 aspirants, half of Nigeria will agree that PO have the best economy plan.

He has always be shouting about cost of governance, you will agree with that is one of our biggest problem.

For the sake of Nigeria lets give him a chance.

*PETER OBI HOLDS THE KEY️*

Written by Ayodeji Oyewumi

My support for PO is mainly from an economic growth potential than any primordial sentiment.

Nigeria is BROKE & by extension 89million Nigerians are 'very' poor while 53millions are "on God".

So how does PO holds the ️ to unlock wealth?

Pls walk with me

To start with, let's explore the strategy the two APC & PDP candidate intends using to generate the much needed revenue for the country;

1.) BAT - His strategy is simple, more LOANS & TAXES.

2.) Atiku - His strategy is equally simple; more LOANS & PRIVATIZATION.

Make no mistake, their strategies arent bad. Its conventional for countries to take up loans, increase tax net or sell off assets that are poorly managed

However, i believe this is not the best for us right now.

Looking at our current realities, these strategies are ephemera

So let's look at Peter Obi's trifecta strategy to generating revenue aside tax;

1.) Cut down on cost of governance
2.) Loans
3.) Foreign Direct Investment

The first is pretty straight forward.

PO did that as a governor & has constantly being speaking about this.

Loans? Yes loan!

The difference however is that unlike what APC has been doing, PO will borrow for INVESTMENTS that generates WEALTH.

With a current public debt of 41.6 trillion naira, Nigerians shouldn't be this poor. Never!!!

My focus, will be on the third strategy.

Our Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in 2021 was estimated at 698.8 million USD. The worst since 1999.

In contrast to our FDI, is our Diaspora Remittance (DR). In 2021, 19.2 billion USD was sent home

So while others focus only on gains from export, PO will leverage on DR

So how will PO unlock DR to boost our economy?

The 19.2 billion USD DR however had little impact on our economy because it's money sent home by Nigerians to solve "welfare economics" as @olakunlesoriyan called it during @theplatformng earlier in the year.

Welfare Economics is money for basic needs like; clothing, food, rent etc

Now, this is where it becomes interesting, it's estimated that this remittance is roughly 5% of the income of Nigerians in the diaspora

In other words, about 95% is still sitting dock in the host country.

So how can we make Nigerians in the diaspora repatriate an EXTRA 15% of their income - 57.6 billion USD - home (aside the 5% already being sent) which will be used to fund investments in Nigeria that create wealth?

The answer is SOCIAL CAPITAL TRUST!

Without a doubt, Social Capital Trust is what PO has in abundance.

This is one thing BATified & Atikulated wish they have. It's something money can't buy.

I find it so laughable that anyone will think PO's current trip to Europe , Canada & USA is to beg for votes.

Billions have been spent so far by Nigerians for his campaign just cos they trust him

So Nigeria can solve her current's economic woes through the social capital trust PO has, which can help us generate over 57 billion USD (equity or debt) from diaspora investment to Nigeria

Permit me to end by saying;

Nigeria need Peter Obi more than He needs Nigeria.

So tell everyone you know who is bothered about the future of Nigeria, to vote Peter Obi.

God bless

Travel / The Implications Of Emirates Suspension Of Nigeria Routes by sarris(m): 7:12am On Aug 30, 2022
Is no longer news that the UAE based carrier (Emirates) will be suspending all flights to and from Nigerian from September 1, 2022. As usual the news was greeted with mixed reaction from Nigeria citizens, the reactions were not really different from that of 2016 when united airlines pulled out their operations from Nigeria; Some persons were of the opinion that they can go, after all they have be milking Nigerians through their high ticket prices. Some are of the opinion that since they have not flew before and they are not sure of flying anytime soon, the airlines can as well go to hell. Funny, isn’t it?

Six years after we are here again, as a matter of fact this is the third time within the last couple of months that emirates is suspending their Nigeria operations. This recent suspension arising from their inability to repatriate over 85m USD home. (Though CBN have released over 400m USD for the airlines to last week)

Again to tell you how bad the situation is some other foreign airlines (BA, Turkey airlines, Lufthansa, Airfrance etc) are threatening to suspend their Nigeria operations by December except Nigerians will be buying ticket in USD. I even learnt that some airlines have asked traveling agents to stop accepting ticket fare in naira.

CBN said they don’t have have enough forex to exchange with the airlines, so the same issue we had six years ago, we are still having it today. Asking how we got here, will be repeating the obvious. Recently they asked the APC presidential flag bearer what is his take on the exchange rate, his response will explain to you how we got here. He said he does not concern himself with the exchange rate, in as much as salaries are paid in naira he is okay. This is a man that wants to take over from Buhari.

Same question was asked the Labour Party presidential flag bearer and his response will also explain to you how we got here. He said if he is the president he will put a bound on politicians spending dollars during party primaries, he asked the wisdom in politicians having access and spending dollars during party primaries when manufacturers, raw materials importers are finding it difficult to access same forex. You be the judge of that.

This article is not meant to focus on politics but rather on the implications of another airline suspending her operations in Nigeria due to inability to access forex.

1. Loss of jobs: Emirates operates over 15 flights from Abuja and Lagos weekly. It is mostly Nigerians that works in these two airports. For every Nigerian that work there, there are multiple family members that benefits. Suspension of these flights means suspension of jobs.

2. Loss of funds for the aviation sector: For every passenger that buys an air ticket, the Nigeria aviation sector makes money. Now most people will argue that Emirates pulling out means that our local airlines will have more traffic of passengers, while that is partially true, we should also note that most emirates frequent flyers will choose to fly Emirates airline through Ghana than to fly some other airline. How do l know this? First week of July l was in Accra and the driver that picked me from the airport asked me if Emirates have resumed Nigeria operations. I replied him yes, he exclaimed, that no wonder, they were not having many Nigerians flying Emirates again. I asked him how? “He said during emirates flight suspension in Nigeria, most Nigerians were coming to Accra to fly” So again we are transferring our jobs and funds to the Ghanaian economy.

3. Loss of FDI confidence: Nigeria is in serious need of FDI no matter how small, every investor needs a conducive environment before they can invest, and that conducive environment also means having access and been able to repatriate funds whenever they wants to. No investor will want to invest where their funds will be trapped.

So my dear Nigerians, the ball is in your court in 2023. A sick man does not ask the tribe or religion of a qualified doctor before he will allow the doctor to treat him. An unemployed man does not ask the tribe or the religion of the manager of the company, he applies and goes for interview and will do his best to be taken in the job.

Nigeria is sick and we are the ones suffering. In choosing the doctor choose the person you know can cure this sickness no matter his tribe or religion. Put sentiments aside and vote for the future of your children.

God bless you and may God continue to bless Nigeria.

Politics / Reasons You Should Vote Peter Obi 2023 by sarris(m): 9:19am On Aug 19, 2022
Is obvious to the blind and loud to the deaf that Nigeria is on a highway to becoming a failed state, the truth is that the above statement is making light a very serious matter because as a matter of fact; Nigeria is a failed state.
Before you argue, go to online and look at the indices that makes a failed state, look at Nigeria and make the comparison.

This failure is as a result of leadership, anyway, let's not dwell too much on this.

2023 election is a make or maim election for Nigeria as a country. The goodnews is that the power is in the hands of the victims of these governmental failures, the victims of insecurity, continuous inflation, unemployment, low or no power, high rate of poverty, massive corruption etc. The Nigeria citizens that are victims are experiencing these and more daily. Why will anyone that have gone through all these want to reward APC or even PDP with votes in the 2023 election, to me that is foolishness in the highest order.

You might not like the person of Peter Obi or even his vice aspirant, you might not like him because of his tribe, religion or maybe because you want to spite someone you think you want to prove a point to. But guess what, when you reward APC or PDP with votes even when you know they brought us here, you are not doing PO rather you are doing yourself and you are doing your children and the children after them.

Please don't reward APC and PDP wickedness with your votes because of tribes and religion.

These are the reasons we all should join hands and vote the labour party for 2023 elections.

1. Politicians will be made to understand that political power no longer lies in their mega structures but in the United youths of Nigeria.
If Peter Obi mess up tomorrow, the youths will vote him out too in 2027.

2. Our politicians will be aware that there is a reward system now, and the rewarder is the united Nigeria youths. if you do well, the people will reward you with votes and if you don't you will be voted out.

3. We have tried PDP and they fail, we have tried APC, you all can see the result. So I ask what are we going to lose if we give labour party a chance?

4. If you vote APC or PDP , Many corrupt politicians will cross carpet to the ruling party and they will become saints. But with labour, Shame will not allow most politicians to defect to labour party.

5. We need a fresh party that will expose the activities of APC for the past 8 years. And l will tell you that you will be shocked to your bones when you will see what they did with our common wealth.

6. Voting Labour will usher in a new era into our political Space, it will retire many corrupt and wicked politicians from our vault and it will usher in many new minds and ideas. Most of you might be those new minds.

7. With labour party all sectors of the Economy will have fresh approach and ideas, fresh hands and minds. I wonder the change you expect when you vote in APC or PDP in 2023.

8. The youths and commoners will be making a loud statement that power is in their hands
by Voting labour party in 2023, at such they will no longer be taken for granted by this politicians.

9. By choosing ObiDatti 2023, you are telling politicians that the politics of affluece, wastage and opulence have been relegated by the politics of simplicity, frugality and Prudence. And that is to the benefits of the masses.

10. I ask again what will you lose if you give these 2 gentlemen a chance in 2023. Think about it, a friend, a brother, your tribe, your religion.
A better Nigeria for you and everyone is much more important. Nigeria cannot survive another 4 years of massive corruption and incompetence.

My sincere apologies, let me kindly derail this topic a bit and connect it to our country Nigeria.
I will read all the point the OP raised and l must say very informative. I have also read all the comments and am sure all the above comments came from all sides of our political divides, from different religion, tribes and believe. Everyone sincerely thanked the OP for the information.

I noticed that no one cared to ask the OP where he came from, his faith, his believe or whether he is Ibo or Yoruba. Everyone learnt from the info and am sure some people will share this with their love ones.

This is my point, For a better Nigeria we have to look beyond tribe, religion, and ethnicity and give the job to the person we sincerely know can deliver and set this country on the path to greatness. Remember if Nigeria is good, it will be for all, if is bad like now, it will still be for all.

It won't.
However what any serious Govt. can do is to deliberately formulate policies that will help local industries to produce those items that we massively import.
privatize our refineries, industrialization will really help to reduce the pressure on our naira.
Only then can the naira start making any gain against the dollar.
Anything apart from this, forget it, the naira will continue to go down.

Now you guys still have the mind to ask other southerners to support you, if you are a non yoruba southerner, will you support such injustice??

Before you talk of unity, talk of justice and fairness, talk of equality, till then don't preach about unity.

Good business venture, am also planning that around the south south area, but my biggest concern has been where to buy hummer buses that are relatively cheap and sound.

On your question, you can start by getting a business lawyer to register your biz name for you, familiarize yourself with the route you plan to run, where do you intend to load from, a general park or you have a separate place.

In sourcing for driver, you have to be very strict.

Another idea, will be to register your buses under any of these transport companies and pay commission to them. If you ask me l think that will be better for a start.

All in all, l will say congratulations in advance
