"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding."

If I were this woman I would take into fervent prayer and fasting. One thing about Gods word is he will always make a way..

And I think this also requires her to be very honest with herself..did she marry this current man out of impatience or out of true genuine love, let's be honest many Nigerian women force marriage on themselves based on time or money..so if she's only been married for 2 moths it's better to put a halt to it now than be looking back on regret 20 years later...

But the best advice I can give you is that this is between her and God. She needs to go into serious prayer and fasting, when I'm in a big issue I even call my parents to pray and fast with me..something's are too big for us to understand and if this is TRULY Gods word he will make the path clear to her. She should be wise and not act in haste because there are many false prophets in this world...be careful and be prayerful. I wish her the best.
or 2 moths it's better to put a halt to it now than be looking back on regret 20 years later...

So because its 2 months she should put a halt to d marriage and pray,so that God will tell her what exactly?
Politics / Re: 10 Nigerian Governors At War With Their Predecessors by sarris(m): 5:51pm On Jun 28, 2015
EKITI001:
Nigeria's newly elected governors are expected to commence work and face the business of governance in their respective states. However, the process is being tampered by a raging war with their predecessors, especially over financial stringency.

1. Niger: Gov Abubakar Bello Clashes With ex-gov Babangida Aliyu
Gov. Bello is set to clash with ex gov Babangida Aliyu over a N2.9bn loan the later allegedly obtained "fraudulently" on the eve of his departure. He has demanded his predecessor to return the funds.

2. Rivers state: Gov Nyesom Wike Hunts down Rotimi Amaechi
Gov. Wike is going after Amaechi with everything he's got. He has inaugurated a committee to probe the ex-governor for corruption. There has been a war of words between the duo which their aides have recently joined in. He's also retrieving government properties still in possession of officials of the former administration.

3. Kaduna state: Gov Nasir El-Rufai Unhappy With Mukhtar Ramalan Yero

Gov. El-Rufai isn't proud of his predecessor's policies and as soon as he assumed office he started reverting them.

This is based on the suspicion that funds (billions of naira) supposedly released to cater for citizen's welfare ended up in personal accounts.

4. Kebbi state: Gov Atiku Bagudu against former governor Saidu Dakingari
Dakingari of the PDP fell out with many PDP chiefs in the state prior to the party's primaries. He also publicly declared he would never hand over to Bagudu (who at the time was a PDP member).

He however lost the party's primaries and 24 hours later, Bagudu defected to the APC where he emerged the gov candidate. He later won the governorship election and since then the two can't be left in the same room.
Dakingari is mostly blamed for the impase, with many thinking of his actions as imature.

5. Plateau state: Gov. Simon Lalong Angry With Jonah Jang

The heat between the two is mainly due to the alleged N104bn debt the former left for his successor.

6. Bauchi state: Gov Abdullahi Abubakar Condemns Isa Yuguda over Maladministration

In Bauchi, there are various allegations ranging from embezzlement of public funds, poor performance and last minute allocations of lands, vehicles and many others being perpetrated by Yuguda's administration.

Reports say the bitterness between both parties is evident such that they exchange blows on social media.

7. Katsina state: Gov Aminu Masari, Ibrahim Shema Biker Over state finances

Gov. Masari is determined to probe Shema for financial recklessness. There is reportedly a shortfall of N13bn in his books.
He's also cropped billions of naira in debt and owns hundreds of state accounts. However, Shema believes Gov. Masari just wants to rubbish his achievements in the past 8 years.

8. Taraba state: Gov. Darius Dickson Ishaku Silent Over N27bn Debts
Past administrations of the state reportedly looted the state's treasury. The N27bn debts were accumulated under the reigns of former acting governor Garba Umar and Sani Abubakar Danlandi who was reinstated by a Supreme Court ruling.

Ishaku hasn't made a clear move against his predecessors but he just might be bidding his time.

9. Delta State Mortgaged for N637.2bn debt
Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has vowed to extricate the state from what he called its stringent mortgage to financial institutions over a cumulative debt of N637.22 billion.

Although he was silent on any probe of his predecessor, analysts say the relationship between the two may not be smooth in the near future

10. Ekiti State :Fayemi, Fayose disagree over Ekiti debt profile
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State and his predecessor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi lock horns over the state’s debt profile.Fayose had claimed that Fayemi left a debt of N84 billion for the state at his inauguration. He also flayed the former governor for building the new Governor’s Lodge, Ayoba House, for a whooping N3.3 billion.

If u look at d list u will find out that those govs having issues with their predecessors re d govs that comes from a different party frm that of their predecessors.

My take then is my fellow Nigerians,Since obviously our votes now counts,in order to avoid people convering their predecessor's looting and misappropriation.Lets try and vote in a different party frm dat of d outgoing governor so d new goverment will always expose d deeds of d outgoing govt. With this any govt will be more careful.

Travel / Re: The Best Honeymoon Destinations In Nigeria. Current Review. Lets Discuss by sarris(m): 6:33pm On May 24, 2015
mrsage:
I have a list of honeymoon destinations here in Nigeria. But i will love to know your opinion and current assessment.

1. Obudu Mountain Resort, Cross river
This is probably the 'most respected' tourist site in Nigeria. It is also ideal for a honeymoon get away. The Obudu Plateau offers peace, quiet, pampering and adventure.

2. Okomu National Park and Osos Hills in Edo State.

3. Ikogosi warm spring amd resort Ekiti

4. La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort Lagos

5. NLNG Residential Area in Bonny Island, Rivers State. Also Finima Beach and JV Camp

6. Badagry. This is a popular destination with multiple side attractions. In my opinion one of the best in Lagos. In Badagry you have beaches, museums, historical buildings and the reminders of Slave trade. You can also get some pretty decent hotels.

7. Yankari Games Reserve. Some of us are a little scared of travelling to the North but trust me Yankari is great. Recent research reveal that it has been rennovated and revived.
You can get to view a whole range of wide animals in Yankari.

8. Kanji Lake National Park.

9. Mic com Golf Resort, Ada, Osun State.

Also discovered this place called: Nike Lake Resort in Enugu. It has a natural lake. It is quiet and lovely.

Feel free to state your opinion or comment.
Have you paid a visit to any of these sites?

Career / Re: Pls Wat Should I Do? I've Been Compelled Into A Serious Oath by sarris(m): 6:33am On Apr 14, 2015
[quote author=Holatunde007 post=32680261]Pls fellow nairalander am confused don't know wat to do anymore.... About 2yrs ago something terrible happen at my place of work, we do close our office around 5. PM latest 5.30 but on dis fateful day I forgot my charger @ d office which made me went back, that was around 8.30Pm but on getting to the office I saw something terrible done by our branch manager, he was calling the names of all his workers saying some incantations I assume he is using the workers glories, I waited for sometime to see the full scenario, in a couple of seconds I was shocked to death when I heard him mentioned my name along with others, there I bang inside to stop him, then I discovered he wasn't alone, there with him were one spiritualist, 3 grown up boys. The spiritualist shouted to my boss "you must not stop that incantation" I became tensed and confused, immediately the three men held me tightly, then I remembered God, I shouted Jesus even thou I've never done that willingly, immediately I shouted Jesus the spiritualist ordered my boss to stop, they all became angry, I never knew one of them had a gun, he pointed the gun at me ask me to say my last prayer, I was like just like that?? No then my boss pleaded that they shouldn't kill me. The man then brought out red paper there I saw all the workers names he ask me to point to my name, which I did, then he said he will remove my name from the list if I can only make an oath that till I die no one will hear what happen tonight from my mouth, and if I do, I should die and he later said if I didn't make the oath they are left with no choice than to kill me....then I made the oath and my name was removed as promised. They took me out and drop me infront of my house in my boss car around 10.00PM, I went in quietly to bed without showing my face to anyone @ home, the following morning I gather some courage went to the office I saw my boss, then I look straight to his face and said Sir can I tender my resignation letter? Workers around were confused, my boss drag me inside his office immediately, then trys to threaten me about the oath then I told him the oath was not to tell anybody so y can I resign working here. Then he said he will accept my resignation letter and even offer me some money which I rejected with anger, when I was about to leave his office he reminded again saying "your life in your hand" remember my words, I looked at him banged the door and went out, when I get tot the office hall I looked at others workers, as I saw those that their names were mentioned, including a secondary school friend of mine who we walk home together, I busted into tears, no one wouldn't know what has happened, I left the premises before they started suspecting.
I've gone for deliverance twice now I worked somewhere else, life changed for good

But I felt sad whenever I see dis frnd of mine complaining and not always financially stable, I advise him several tymz to quit the job, he always decline instead he says wat job will a school cert holder see as he's earning 35k per month but nothing to show.....I was the only that know is been enchanted but can't tell him, my conscience is killing me right now, I thought of telling him and again I thought of the oath of dying if I do.
Now the question here is, is there anyway I can actually release this secret to him? Can send dis to him through any social messenger, afterall I didn't say it with my mouth, will the oath still kill me if I do....pls need a strong advise my frnd life is becoming an E luck day by day he never for once notice, I've gone for my N.D and back now he never for once think of furthering his education yet he claims I love that job

What should I do?[/quote. Take ur friend for deliverance without telling him to a living church, synagogue will be preferrable.

bettercreature:
Nuhu Ribadu’s chances of winning the Adamawa governorship election was left in tatters today, following the desertion of his Peoples Democratic Party by party bigwigs to the All Progressives Congress.

Leading the defectors was former Deputy Senate Majority Leader, Jonathan Zwingina. Othes were a former Minister of External Affairs, Idi Hong, and two serving Senators, Bello Tukur and Ahmed Barata, as well as Sadiq Haske.

They announced their defection at a press conference in Yola today.

Zwingina, who spoke on behalf of the defectors, said they decided to pitch their tent with the APC to support the party’s governorship candidate, Bindow Jibrilla.

“We are positive of the change going on now in the country; we believe in the candidacy of Bindow,” he said.

Zwingina and Hong lost in their bid to represent Adamawa Central and Southern district in the National Assembly elections held on March 28.

Earlier in the day they met with the president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, who was in Yola to campaign for the APC.http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2015/04/09/nuhu-ribadu-dumped-2-days-to-polls/
