Ehinomen27:No, you book Category B. Have you gained admission? If yes, when is your deadline for enrollment? All these are key in getting a date under Category B |

emmabowin:With only Duolingo, it may take you time to achieve your goals. Duolingo is very very basic, you can use it to memorise a few vocab and ease into learning German but don't depend solely on it. Especially the robotic voice that says the word is HORRIBLE, you won't develop listening skills. 1 Like |

Engrphilips:If you're applying via Uniassist then you can use high court (whether state or federal) and it'll be accepted. If you're applying directly to the school then check if they specify the kind of notarization they want. If they didn't specify you can use high court 2 Likes |

NijaDueprocess:If I knew the answer I would have answered you. But I know that to get resident permit, you need: - accommodation, a landlord's agreement, a rental contract - your admission letter/enrollment certificate - proof of funds - health insurance - intl passport Once you have all these in a city, you can apply for resident permit. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

madenigga:It matters o. if you don't meet the requirements of category A, please don't book under Category A. Don't shoot yourself in the leg. There's hope, if you've enrolled or gotten enrollment extension till December/January, you'll surely get a date. |

OdiEma: Exactly!! Some people start this German waka without any means of proof of funds, they get to interview stage even up till AM still without having any means of BA/SL. Do we say what they're doing is wrong? Now the embassy is insisting from Nov 1st to come with your proof of funds, so we can no longer do that. But as long as you can book for AD without showing AL, I won't fault anybody for doing so. This is my opinion. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

vincechyme:Even at the airport. I have travelled many times, they always demand for it as a means to get money from you, but you don't need it unless you're travelling to an African country or a country that demands for it at point of entry. But those airport officials know that a lot of Nigerians don't know this so they use it to extort money. 1 Like |

evergreen9:This AD thing is really frustrating but please let's all calm down. 1. I don't think the AD purge thing is a myth, today is Oct 2nd and the embassy was closed yesterday (and will be closed tomorrow). So they may purge today and start giving out dates from Friday or they may purge this week and start giving out dates from next week. Let's just keep hoping and praying. 2. In my humble opinion, there's absolutely nothing wrong in booking for AD before receiving AL. As long as the embassy permits it then you can do it. The key is to cancel on time if you don't receive AL. |

Temi87:You can use student copy for admission but try to get the official copy from your school. Look for a company or school near you, go there and explain that you'd like to use their address for your transcript to be sent to them, apply for the transcript using the address and once its been sent go there and pick it up. |

Hollyb:Start learning at any language school near you, if you're in Lagos, go to the Goethe Institute. You'll probably need to learn up to B2/C1 to study Nursing. At the Goethe Institute, Each level is for 3 months so it'll take you a year to learn up to B2. 1 Like |

evergreen9:With a blocked account you'll only have access to €853 per month (ie. If you block using the new rate of €10236). This should be enough to cover your living expenses depending on the city you're heading to and your lifestyle. But it's best to travel with some money because it may take time to unblock your account when you get to Germany. |
