chrislong: Hello everyone. I have just joined the thread. I have read through several pages and i have learnt several new things. Thank you.
I found some schools that i will love to apply to. For most, the deadline for application is January 15 and i have to apply via uni assist. I have a few questions concerning this:
1. I hear uni assist takes about 4 weeks to review, will it be too late to start the process for a January 15 deadline? 2. Has anyone sent documents to uni assist lately? I will be happy to see the full list of what you sent.
I will be grateful for any reply. Thank you. 1. You can send now, provided your documents and payment get to Uniassist by January 15th youre good. So start now, however you may not get admission letter on time especially for schools that offer rolling admission, and getting admission on time is crucial in getting visa appointment. 2. The documents required is based on the documents the schools you're applying to require. But basically its transcripts, certificates, English test or EPL, motivation letter, CV etc. So check the requirements of the schools you're applying to. If you don't have all your documents already, then you may not meet with the deadline. |

It’s not restricted as well. I want to ask what my chances are. Thank you We can't tell you what your chances are, that's the school's decision. Just pray and hope it works out well. |

4realisreal: I did my video call interview for MSc Human Computer Interactions uni Seigen today and my office network was unusually unstable which affected the interview. The conversation was breaking, I could hardly hear them. At the first 15 mins the network was fine and conversation was going well until maybe village people flashed. After struggling with the network for anoda 20 mins they ended the interview and I felt bad.
2 hours later While still contemplating on whether or not I will be considered for admission after the whole network saga, I received a mail, behold, it was an admission letter, my first admission letter and my favourite course, Msc Data Science at Tu Dortmund. The Lord consoled me at the very hour.
What marvel The Lord has done indeed I am glad.
O God, pls let every other thing I need for this journey fall in place in Jesus name...
May everyone on this forum also get their AL. Congratulations! We need more good news like this on the forum 2 Likes |

I appreciate your apt response, I've asked the question here before now but no one seem to do justice to it...so here it goes like;
I've got a question to ask with regards to employment status...does the embassy, school or Uniassist further verifies one's current employment status/history as the case may be, in accordance to what is indicated on an applicant CV.
Many thanks See ehn, just tell the truth on your CV. Don't shoot yourself on the leg. |

Holayinks: I'm having the same issue with the school. I got a mail from them today.i already sent a mail to them to clarify the issue since our official language is English. Plus I submitted a copy of EPL too. Yet to respond though. HTW Berlin doesn't accept EPL, I know 2 people who got admitted and they applied with IELTS. Read instructions before applying, anything you're not sure of, mail the course coordinators to ask. 1 Like |

Sammynelson: Okay thanks , what if I'm trying for BSc since my cgpa is kinda low(2.6 German scale) i want to try some msc via direct online application and BSc via uniassit.. but i couldn't even find English taught BSc programmes..I read chemistry If you have a low cgpa then wait till winter so that you can apply to as many schools as possible and stand a chance of gaining admission. Summer courses are really limited. 1 Like |

CHAI. TODAY NA TODAY. I'm seeing a lot of newbies on the thread recently and if there is one advice I can give, it's this: Make sure you do your research thoroughly before embarking on this journey else you'd waste your time, energy and money making silly mistakes that would have been avoided if you'd simply done your research. Take your time, don't rush, don't get desperate, arm yourself with information before you start. It's well. 9 Likes |

Omalily1: Good morning great minds. Please does anyone know how long it will take for the embassy to get back to someone who appeal his student visa rejection? Please note reason for his rejection was that they had concerns if he did meet up with the stated enrolment deadline. However, he is already fully enrolled with his certificate and student ID card. His worries now are how long will it take for them to get back to him because he has appealed and sent them all necessary documents to show that he already enrolled and as well a letter from his school stating that he can still come in for his studies. He has sent embassy emails after sending the appeal they don't seem to reply.
Anyone ever experienced such should kindly tell how long it took them to get back to him or her. @ Dolapaz @Sassy92 @Eke40seven Gurus in the house please help out. Thank you all in advance. The embassy does not have an appeal timeline. I've seen people receive response in one month and others are waiting for 3 months. All he can do now is hope and pray they'll answer him soon. We already know the embassy doesn't really respond to emails. 1 Like |

omotayour26: Pls I have a question..... have submitted my documents to uniassist with a motivation letter for d course I applied for b4 ... now I want to apply for another. Does it mean am going to write anoda motivational letter for this course and send it also to uniassist or hw do I go about it. However is it necessary to always send copies of document to d schools to when they write on there website application is by uniassist alone. You don't need to send motivation letter by post, simply upload unto the portal. Make sure you write the school/course you're applying for on the motivation letter so that Uniassist can forward it appropriately. If youre applying via Uniassist then you don't send your docs to the school but to Uniassist. 1 Like |
