Elaborate how? I think it's clear enough. If you have any questions, You can ask

Good morning. Please help me out! Uniassist hasn't sent an evaluation report to my email at this time, please what's the implication?
Uniassist takes 4-6 weeks for processing (it's usually less than that, but this is the official time frame). If it has exceeded this time frame and you're yet to get the evaluation mail then contact them via the contact form on their website.

Thanks bro, do you've an idea if one can work on a student visa
Yes you can work but only for 20 hours per week and there are various factors involved like location (some cities have more student job opportunities than others), German language knowledge (in some cities it'll be very difficult to get a job if you can't speak German) etc.

And 2020/2021 winter hustle begins.

Update:
For all you AD space bookers. Rumors has it that the embassy knows those people who opened a BA or got SL before booking AD (emphasis on 'opened BA', not 'funded BA' ).

Germany only wants the best, if you are too impatient to adhere to due process, please stay in your country Nigeria and continue contributing to its problems.

This rumor might explain why some peeps that booked date since Oct are still lamenting over AD.

Lemme cum and be going oh... Chai!!! Who stone me?

More Update
I understand the depression that accompanies a fruitless wait for AD (my 2019/2020 winter semester do me sumtin). For all those awaiting summer AD, I pray you all receive visum and arrive Germany early enough for your studies.

QUICK SURVEY FOR ONLY THOSE WHO'VE GOTTEN APPOINTMENT DATES IN THE ONGOING SUMMER APPLICATION WINDOW:
You booked date AFTER opening (not funded) BA or getting SL, and you got AD. Click LIKE

You did space booking and you got AD. Click SHARE

The poll results below will help us know if truly the German embassy frowns upon AD space bookers.

Danke leutes

Again, don't think this is true, I opened my BA before booking for AD, I'm waiting to get AD before funding. I'm wondering how the embassy will know those who have opened/funded BA since its the escrow bank that is handling the process and I don't think they'll share the information even with the embassy.

Hello guys. I asked this question earlier but nobody responded.

Please I want to know if Germany university calendar system permits people to resume FIRST semester in Summer.

I understand that Winter is usually the start of school and so is usually the first semester.

But since schools also permit application for Summer semester which starts in March, I want to confirm if that Summer will be your first semester.

This question will also help me research well on how to seek solution if eventually there's a delay in getting AD as is being reported here.... I'm thinking if there's a delay, and the school permits, I can just defer the admission FROM WINTER (OCTOBER) to Summer...

But I want to first know if Summer semester can equally be someone's first semester.

Forgive if the question is confusing

GabeLegendary faithzy GRACEYS

It's pretty obvious that if you resume during summer semester then summer semester is your first semester. The semester you resume is your first semester

Concerning fintiba opening... Guys who recently opened should help me clarify this to avoid scammers and stories that touch.

My friend that got his account number told me he had an interview with a fintiba agent and even did finger print biometrics/verification before getting his blocking account information. I have not done anything like that , I just uploaded my selfie with international passport but they have already sent me my blocking account information this morning. If you opened fintiba recently please I need to know how you did it
I did video verification with an agent.

please did you go with original and photocopy documents to high court or just photocopy. also, how do I ensure that it was notary properly. thank you
Yes you should go with original because the person doing the certification must sight the originals before certifying the photocopy. Every page must be stamped, if the document has front and back (like WAEC certificate) then you should photocopy both front and back and stamp them both. Google what certification looks like.

People who are troubled are those who have no experience of German waka.

Last winter, the embassy website stated by September that dates were no longer available. We all knew wot happened- date flowed till october ending.(the wise ones did wot was suggested by experts---changing of start date to a later date )

This summer, it is unfortunate that it started early. Some of us booked date since october and put FEBRUARY as start date. (The embassy knws most are lies because schools start by April) even without AL.

Now a new law is passed to check all these abuse and we are agitating and claiming right for a petition. We have to calm down brothers!! Most people shouting do not have Admissions yet.

The solution is to be patient and wait. If u have booked already, date surely will drop. If u r yet to book, be wise and use a later start date like April or May.( ur date will come early Feb.)
From reports, given out date are still Dec-Jan. Feb, March and April still dey.

Hope and prayer dey work for those who think all is Logic and fact.

Nigerians let us learn patience!!!!!
Thanks

You just said everything I wanted to say but was too lazy to type. Especially the bolded parts. Thank you jare.

Getting accommodation on arrival on campus if you are not a DAAD/Erasmus/OtherScholarship student is not really guaranteed.
However,
1. Apply for one, on the school studentwerk website (you might just be lucky)
2. Join the student groups on facebook and post your request or response to posted accommodation offers
3. Try to see if you can get preferably a Nigerian to welcome you (to host you for your first few weeks - for free or paid).
Thanks for the tips, they are really helpful.

Hello,
I certify my documents at the state high court... Am still getting this from uni-assist.
Advice please...

Obviously the certification wasn't done correctly; I certified at state high court and Uniassist accepted my documents. So, make sure EVERY PAGE of the documents are stamped, If the document has front and back, you must certify the front and back

Uni Magdeburg - Master - Process Safety & Env. Eng
We regret to inform you that your application could not yet be forwarded to the university you
applied to.
Reason(s):
You have failed to achieve the minimum grade required by the Uni Magdeburg for admission to
this degree programme.
The following documents were either not submitted, or were not sufficiently certified:
Evidence of the required level of English language proficiency
(The copy of this document must be officially certified!)
It is possible to submit new documents until the end of the universitys application deadline.
Please check whether there is still time before the deadline expires.
The master degree course of your choice requires a minimum grade of 2,3 in the German
system.

After conversion into the German system your grade is 2,9. Please note that the German
grading system is based on a scale of 1 to 4, where 1 is the maximum grade.
Your degree grade has been converted according to the set guidelines of the Central
Office for Foreign Education (Zentralstelle für ausländisches Bildungswesen - ZAB) using
the Modifizierte Bayerische Formel:
Nmax - Nd
-------------------- * 3 + 1
Nmax - Nmin
The conversion was carried out using the standard maximum mark (Nmax=5) and the
lowest pass mark (Nmin=1) applicable at the university where you obtained your degree,
as well as your final mark (Nd=2,43).
pls i want to understand somthing... is the reason stated only about english or it include the grade too?
Wow, sorry about this. I just received admission for this same school and course. Did you apply with English test? They don't accept EPL. Also your grade is far above the required grade (they only accept 2.3 or lower)

Guys come to my aid o. I no longer understand what's happening.

I submitted my passport at the Embassy with my Travel insurance (Zenith Insurance), which happens to be the 2 items requested on the 29th of November. Today is the 9th of November, I haven't gotten any feedback, I sent mail, no response. I called, the same generic response that it is being worked on.

Please, any advice or heads up?

@elders

@Sassy92
I have a friend who was in a similar situation, I advised him to go to the embassy and demand for his visa by hand, he did and it worked for him. So try it and see.

Thank you very much, this has really been helpful. I have a few more questions however please.

For the English proficiency letter, must it come from the university i attended? Or can i use one from a different university close by me?

Also for the documents, i assumed that since uniassist can be used to apply to different institutions, only the generic documents will be needed. Since letter of motivation and CV is mostly usually tailored to the particular course and institution, will i still be sending these to uni assist too?

Please kindly clarify. Thank you.

No, your EPL must come from the school you graduated from. Please make sure you check and confirm that the schools you're applying to accept EPL. Uniassist will not forward your documents to the school if you send EPL and they asked for English test.
CVs and Motivation letter don't need to be sent via post, simply upload onto your portal. If you're writing more than one motivation letter, write the school and course at the top of the letter so that Uniassist will forward appropriately.
