I beg to differ that it takes your wife's disclosure of her income for your family to be united. A confident man does not INSIST that his wife "opens up" on her income. It is not compulsory that a woman tells her husband what she earn. Such information or disclosure should be earned not commanded/forced/conned/coerced out of a woman. Men should understand that when you take a wife, it is your primary responsibility to take care of her and your children WHETHER SHE CONTRIBUTES OR NOT. SHE IS A HELPER NOT A CO-HEAD. A man is the HEAD and should carry out his duties.

When a man a noses around his wife's earning and wants to know what she earns and becomes insecure or unhappy that she has not divulged such information, it IS CONDESCENDING and amounts to reneging ones responsibility or vacating his duty. He is not a confident man and is not acting responsibly. He comes across as a weak man who is probably a gold digger. A man is not a man in his capacity to coax his wife into divulging her income, he is a man in his capacity to hustle genuinely and honorably and hold his own. When a REAL and CARING woman perceives the hard work, honest contribution and sense of caring leadership of her husband, she will voluntarily support him. Women are some of the most loyal beings and you get the best of them when you make them feel like a the center of the world (I mean genuinely not deceitfully). When you make a woman feel like the queen of your life, you will become her banker and her real estates agent (that the OP appears to yearn for and has finally secured).

I am not saying that some hardworking men dont get hit with tough times. They do. But MOST responsible men with a sense of pride do not insist on getting to know their income lest they loose their self respect. Even a broke man who is confident will not want to loose his gloss by crying over her earning.

My experience with men who get their wife to change title of property and open joint account (and they often are the sole signatory of the "joint" account) is that down the line, they gullible woman gets kicked out to face the reality of her stupidity because the "joint" account does not join the heart. It mostly funds the lazy mans excesses or profligacy. In many cases they get killed. If I were friends with the OP's wife I would advise her against opening the joint accounts and changing document titles. Men who marry women with the intention of leaving off them like leeches should simply swap positions and become the woman.

My love for my wife is not a consequence of her disclosure of her income, but the quality of woman she is. Dont mistake me for implying that I have NEVER HAD TO ASK MY WIFE FOR ASSISTANCE. I DO, but my wife knows that I am a hardworking man and I do not live off her. And even if her father were a "Tinubu" I (THE MAN SHE MARRIED) would NEVER ask her to change her property titles to my name and change her bank account to my name. That would be unnecessary because I am genuinely hustling and I do not need her father's property willed to her to be fine. That is not love...that is a heist in the making. Her father is a man like myself and worked hard to get his property. Why cant I do the same to have mine in my own way?

For 25yrs now I have been keeping my virginity till marriage and every friend I hv knows that am de decent type. I have a nxt door milf that know this too. Now going to the easter scenario at hand... They said jesus rose from the death on the third day but there is no proof that it was on the third day. No body witnessed his resurrection they just went to his grave three days after he was buried and found it empty and concluded he rose up the third day because he said he will rise up on the third day. What if he wasn't actually dead but was just in a coma?... There was no doctor that verified him dead.



Second instance what if jesus body was stolen and they just made it seems he has risen from the dead just to fulfil wat he said. After his resurrection per say he only keep appearing and never acted like a normal human being again even his ascension was inhuman. What if it was all necromancy? I mean what if jesus was one of the first magicians?...



There are a lot of stories in the bible that don't add up and I think many stories in the bible were cooked to make the teaching better explained. And I also think some bible account are parables and not to be followed squarely but need people to apply wisdom... That my humble opinion and before u bash me am a christian. I met this young beautiful lady about 2 years now and ever since we've been friends and just friends.
I took it further to ask her out, but she declined but after up to a year of disturbance, she said yes and......

I told her to remove it which she did and told me it was an old picture, at least more than a year. Yes i believed and we moved on.
Now to the major problem im facing now, she doesnt pick my calls again.
She will later call back and tell me she's been busy or sleeping and that was why she isnt picking calls.
Apart from that, she doesnt chat again nowadays. She's always online yet, she will never talk to me. She hasn't replied my messages since 2days now...


I need advise on what to do. I love her yet, im afraid she already moved on. Should i just break up with her or wait till........

Good day my fellow Nairalanders, I have a very serious problem which I so much believe that with your kind and generous advice, I might take the right step. I met this girl around April 2012 at my work place and since then we have been together after I proposed to her last year. The fact is I love her so much and I thought she also loves me.

I went down with her to her village around April 2014 to see her parents formally and they were so happy, her mum, dad, grand parents and even her siblings welcomed me wholeheartedly and I was so happy. I stayed with them for two weeks just to see if I can picture out any bad behavior but seriously, non was found.

The problem am having with her is that she has too much male friends and most of them are always sending her love messages both on 2go and Facebook. I once stumble on her Facebook inbox and I found a chat between her and another guy and he was just thanking her for coming to spend good time with him, bla bla bla and how he enjoyed her. I was so mad because during this period she went to the village alone and promised to return in a week but she didn't until after 3 weeks, this is what she always do, she travels like 4-5 times in a year and never return on time. When she returned, I confronted her and she said she is not the one that did that chat with the guy, I tried asking her who did but she never gave me a good answer.

Later that week, she gave me her phone to help her charge it in a barbing saloon, then a strange number called and I picked, the person hissed and cut the call, he later sent a message saying, "you're picking my wife's call and asking me who it is" I replied him that he should check the number that he might be wrong, he then mentioned her name. I went back home to ask my fiancee who own that number then she said its that guy I saw his chat and I should not worry, she will fix it.

Recently again, she has travelled and up till this moment, she is not back, she promised she won't stay upto 2 weeks but yesterday makes it 5 weeks. That same yesterday, my mum's pastor asked my mum to call me that he has a message for me which I later went, he greeted me and say, while he was praying for me because of my mums request, that he was shown that the lady I am planning of marrying is not mine alone, that if I go ahead to marry her, she will wreck me and leave me, he said she travelled now and I said yes, he said she was seeing someone else in the village, he said if I doubt him, I should go ahead.

It was then my mum now said, my younger sister told her of a dream she had, that I caught my fiancee with another guy and it leads to a fight which the said guy killed me. I myself have had such dreams too. The pastor gave me 3 days fasting and prayer. I am confused, despite all her cunning ways I still love her but what should I do and how do I go about leaving her. I will be 30 by 5th April, am not getting any younger. Please advice.
