Wenger should start now in the transfer window and end the contracts of the players that should be let go off!!

1. Diaby SHOULD BE SOLD!
2. Almunia should drop to 2nd goal Keeper
3. Lukas should be sold
4. Dudu sadly should be sold as well
5. Silvestre should be shot!!
6. Rozzi can be kept, but his contract should be made per season (same as Sol)
7. Arshavin should be sold (Didn't step up when we needed him, pre injury)
8. Gallas should be let to go off and finish his career in the Ligue 1
9. Denilson should be played in the reserves. (Same as NB52)

Arsene should just see out his contract and help the board find a replacement!! The gaffer has given us much joy as the Manager since he stepped into the shores of Engurland!! But his reign is fast coming to an end!! He knows it, the board know it and the fans now know it!! It will be painful to lose him, but the only constant thing is change!! If he doesn't spend during the off season, then i think the next season should be his last for the club!!

At the end of the day, we basically weren't good enough, even Spurs are closing off their season in style but we seem to be limping to the finishing line in the 3rd position. Next season is another time, winners are made from experiences like this. Keep the core of the squad and get in able reinforcement with winning mentality.
3rd and 4th choice CB pairing, 3rd choice holding MF, 2nd choice striker, 2nd choice playmaker but we should have still been able to beat Wigan. Arsene should rotate more earlier on in the season.

The build up was abysmal because Drogba started.
Each and every build up stalled whenever Drogba receives the ball and Chelsea had to start all over again.

Drogba is an excellent striker when the ball is in the air. . . . . . .when the ball is played on the ground with smart one two touches, Drogba is shyte.

Giggsy is past his expiry date but as soon as he gets one goal assist or the odd goal, that single statistic will gloss over his general poor performance. Tottenham play a very OPEN football in that they attack en masse but the system itself is reliant on scoring goals.
When they bomb forward and they create chances. . . . . .The mentality is to score cos they leave leaks at the back bombing forward.
If they score like they hope, it's good and dandy but if they get caught on the break and concede in the other end, they lose disgracefully.

I was expecting Chelsea to set up the way Jose did when he was here. Deploy pacy wingers upfront and wait until Tottenham players goof and catch them on the break and score but Chelsea were too busy defending than actually trying to score at the other end of the pitch.
FFS, United decimated this SPURS side at WHL with 10 men earlier in the season cos we kept on catching em on the break.

Of course they've regressed, despite winning a trophy and remaining competitive at the highest level after losing two players that would decimate any other team. Dudu's analysis is not only terribly short sighted, it is aimed to mask the stagnation and regression that has occurred over the past 5 seasons.

The most frustrating aspect is that we don't even need to spend that much - if we had spent another 10m and brought in Chamakh last year, we might have won the title by scoring in those tough games late January to early February.
If we had spent another 15m on another quality CB, we might have avoided the ridiculous defensive lapses we've seen and done better.
If we had spent 15m and bought a competent goalkeeper, we would've avoided the atrocious gaffes by Almunia this season.
Any one of those moves coupled with what we have at present would've given us a MASSIVE fighting chance - two of those (goalkeeper and striker) would've virtually won us the title.

This season woulda been Arsenal's best chance to win the title cos Chelsea and Man Utd have been horrible.
At a point, Chelsea were leading Arsenal with 11 points and with the right blend of players in the final lap, Arsenal woulda walked it cos you had the easiest run in - but then Arsene knows!

Yet we sit here talking about improvement - what if these 'young players' take till they are 27 to be ready? Are we supposed to wait for another 5 years hoping they all stay and continue to improve? What will keep our best players around till then?? Dudu keeps talking about 'short term' rewards - a trophy is more long term than you think!!

The drawback is. . . . . . .Even the quality players that have been brought through would leave if the barren spell continues.
Every player wants to leave. Had Wenger signed Ronaldo in 2003, he woulda left by now. Some players can't just sit their asses down with barren seasons when they know their quality should be winning titles.

Without a the repeated trophies at Highbury do you think anyone would take us seriously when we wanted to build the Emirates? Do you think we'd have such a large fan base in the first place without trophies? Financial sustainability is not good, but a lack of trophies will ULTIMATELY wreck that as well - we need to start winning NOW - 5 years in the modern era is a VERY long time.

Wenger is a stubborn man. He won't change his so called 'vision' any time soon.
His pride will eventually lead to his downfall. I just hope this takeover will not bring in an owner who would kick Wenger's ass to the curb and sign Advocaat or Rijkaard.

What you have not considered is what each club has done to get to where it is from the last season to this.

Chelsea has basically done nothing to effectively stay where they are (no net spend)
Liverpool has retrogressed by basically doing nothing (1 outgoing player and 1 incoming but no net spend)
Manure has retrogressed by losing a player(CR7) and gaining 3(Obertan, Valencia, Dioug) with a net income in the region of 60m
Arsenal has progressed by losing 2 players and bringing one in with a net income of 30m

How have Arsenal progressed with having a net income of 30 milla and United have regressed with a net income of 80 million?
