Bleeding is a common symptom too, especially from the gums. They are found around world, the most venomous is the Saw Scaled Viper and the Chain Viper, found primarily in Central Asia and the Middle East. Discoloration may occur throughout the swollen area because red blood cells and plasma leak into muscle tissue. Death may occur 1 to 14 days post-bite, or even later. Habitat: Rainforests; particularly India, China and South East Asia. Length: Depends on specie; Up to 28inches Speed: 2.1 mph Venom: Highly venomous Symptoms: Severe and immediate pain with rapid swelling, bruising of the skin, trouble breathing, changes in heart rate or rhythm and a metallic, rubbery or minty taste in the mouth. NO 6. Philippine Cobra (Naja philippinensis) Most species of Cobra would not make this list; however the Philippine Cobra is the exception. Its venom is the most deadly of all the Cobra species, and they are capable of spitting it up to 3 metres. The bite causes only minimal tissue damage. The neurotoxins in its venom interrupt the transmission of nerve signals by binding to the neuro-muscular junctions near the muscles. Habitat: Low-lying plains and forested regions, fields, grasslands, dense jungle, agricultural fields, and human settlements. This species of cobra is particularly fond of water, so it can be found very close to ponds, rivers, or large puddles of water. Length: Up to 1.6 m (5.25 ft) Speed: Unknown Venom: Highly venomous, neurotoxin which affects cardiac and respiratory function Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, abdominal pain, dizziness, and difficulty breathing. Bites produce prominent neurotoxicity. There are three species of spitting cobras in the Philippines.

NO 5. Blue Krait (Bungarus candidus) Also known as The Malayan is the most deadly of 'the big four' species. About 50% of bites are fatal (even when antivenin is administered. They hunt and kill other snakes even other Kraits. They are more aggressive in darkness. However overall they are quite timid and will often attempt to hide. Death usually occurs within 6-12 hours of a Krait bite. Even if patients make it to a hospital, permanent coma and even brain death from hypoxia may occur usually as a result of the long transport time to medical care. Habitat: The jungles of the Indian subcontinent, South East Asia and Indonesia Length: 108 cm (about 3.5 ft), with a tail 16 cm (6.3 in) long. Speed: Unknown Venom: Very powerful neurotoxic protein, with a subcutaneous LD50 in mice of 0.45 mg/kg body weight. Symptoms: Lethargy, flaccid paralysis, and convulsions in quick succession, fatal hypertension and cyanosis. Before the development of antivenin, the fatality rate was a whopping 85%.

NO 4. Eastern Brown Snake (Pseudonaja textilis) This snake is also called 'common brown snake', it is diurnal ie active during the day and notorious for its speed and aggression. 1/14,000 of an ounce of its venom is enough to kill an adult human even if just a juvenile, it's been known to chase aggressors and strike repeatedly. The venom contains both neurotoxins and blood coagulants. Fortunately, less than half of its bites contain venom and they prefer not to bite. They react only to movement so you're better standing still if you ever encounter. Habitat: Found throughout eastern Australia, Papua New Guinea. It can thrive in a wide variety of habitats, though it particularly likes grasslands, woodlands and pastures. Length: 6 feet, 7 1/4 inches Speed: Unknown but very fast Venom: LD50 value (SC) in mice. They are born with fully functioning fangs and venom and are capable of killing prey at birth and at least three pairs of replacement fangs lie behind the functional pair. Eastern Diamond-backs are the most poisonous of all rattlesnakes but thankfully only about 4% of bites result in fatalities if promptly treated, however if untreated, any rattlesnake bite has the potential to kill. Habitat: America; most species live near open, rocky areas. However, they can also be found in other habitats including prairies, marshes, deserts and forests. Length: 0.5 to 2 metres (1.6 to 6.6 feet) Speed: about 2 to 3 miles per hour in very short bursts Venom: The venom is hemotoxic, destroying tissue, causing necrosis and coagulopathy (disrupted blood clotting). Symptoms: Permanent damage to organs and may even lead to the loss of a limb, swelling, numbness, difficulty breathing. They get their name from the rattle which is found at the end of the tail and which creates a distinctive noise.

NO 2. Coastal Taipan/Papuan Taipan (Oxyuranus scutellatus scutellatus / Oxyuranus scutellatus canni) The Coastal taipan is a large, highly venomous and has one subspecies, the Papuan taipan. These snakes are highly aggressive when cornered and would actively defend itself. They are highly nervous and at alert. Any movement near them is likely to trigger an attack. When threatened, they adopts a loose striking stance by raising its head and forebody. The muscular lightweight body of the Taipan allows it to hurl itself forwards or sideways and reach high off the ground, and such is the speed of the attack that a person may be bitten several times before realizing the snake is there. Habitat: Australia (East - Northeastern coast) / southern parts of the island of New Guinea Lenght: Up to between 1.5 and 2.0 m (4.9 and 6.6 ft). Speed: Unknown Venom: Its venom contains primarily taicatoxin, a highly potent neurotoxin that affects the nervous system and blood's ability to clot. Symptoms: Bite victims may experience nausea/vomiting, headache, convulsions, collapse, internal bleeding, paralysis, myolysis and kidney damage. This snake is considered to be one of the most venomous in the world.

5 Times Mourinho has been sent to the stands or Fined José Mourinho needs no introduction, the Portuguese football coach who now coaches Manchester United. He is according to numerous footballers, pundits and coaches one of the greatest coaches in modern football. At Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Porto, Jose has won 21 trophies, winning his last at Wembley. His coaching career cannot be distanced from controversies however, and in this report, we bring you five times Jose has been sent to the stances, fined or banned. No 1. Mourinho (as a chelsea manager) was fined £50,000 for claiming that referees were afraid to award penalties against his side last season after the Blues fell to a 3-1 defeat in the hands of Southampton FC back on 3rd of October 2015. The then Chelsea boss after a failed appeal was fined £50,000 as fine and also got a suspended one-game stadium ban dismissed by the Football Association. No 2. José Mourinho was given a one-match stadium ban plus fined £40,000 in November 2015, after the FA supported referee Jon Moss' claims that the then Chelsea manager refused to leave the referees' changing room and in addition to verbally abusing him (the referee) and his assistance at half-time of a 2-1 defeat at West Ham. Mr Mourinho asked me about a tackle, an offside and a goal line clearance. I gave him brief answers to his questions. He (Mourinho) was 'aggressive, animated and agitated’ in an extraordinary foul-mouthed rant at referee Jon Moss, this was enough to earn him a one-match stadium ban which he observed at the Britannia Stadium. He was accused of referring to Mr Moss as being ‘f***ing weak’ and of twice refusing to leave the referees’ room. The report claimed he showed ‘a total lack of respect’ at half-time. No 3. Jose Mourinho, the now Manchester United boss was charged over his pre-Liverpool referee comments. The Manchester United boss was charged by the Football Association for claiming it would be "difficult" for referee Anthony Taylor to officiate their (United) game with Liverpool. Mourinho added that appointing Taylor for the 17th October clash had put "pressure" on the Manchester-based official; it is F.A rule that managers are not supposed to speak about referees prior to matches and he was given until 31 October (then) to respond to a charge of improper conduct and bringing the game into disrepute. The game ended in a 0-0 draw. Jose was fined £50,000 by an independent commission. No 4. Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was sent to the stands at half-time in the game with Burnley in the Premier League on 29th October 2016, The 53-year-old Portuguese then moved to the directors' box. Jose emerged for the second half and was escorted to a seat in the stands at Old Trafford as his side dropped to further down the table afther the game ended in a 0-0 draw. United had 37 shots on goal, but found Heaton in impenetrable form as he made 11 saves. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the chief profligate for United, missing at least three gilt-edged chances from 12 shots at goal, meaning he has now gone six league games without scoring for the first time since December 2007 with Inter Milan. Referee Mark Clattenburg had dismissed a United penalty appeal late in the first half. "I think the events of recent weeks have got to him," said MOTD pundit Danny Murphy. "I think that it was a penalty, though." He was banned from the touchline for one match and fined £8,000 then warned as to his future conduct by the F.A following the Burnley incident. No 5. Yesterday (30th November) Jose Mourinho served a one game ban against West Ham in the EFL cup quarter final after being sent to the stands during Manchester United's 1-1 draw with same club (West Ham) in the Premier League on Sunday 27th Nov. Mourinho had received his marching orders for the second time in just three home league games after kicking out at a water bottle on the touchline after Paul Pogba was booked for diving shortly before the half-hour mark at Old Trafford and later declined speaking to the media at the post-match conference. Is José Mourinho still The Special One or The Frustrated One? Culled from www.palmchatnow.com
