A friend of mine just graduated from one Monotechnic in Nigeria with second class lower and wish to go to the state for his PGD and later Masters, he needs your advice on how to go about it especially, choice of school and course(s) he can put in for because he studied Coop Economics and Management.

I have a question, a very good friend of mine got B1/B2 visa for his family and they had earlier planned to go for vacation together but now the wife was called back to work from her place of work place which necessitated her cancellation of movement. she wont be able to make the trip and my friend too doesnt have much time as he managed to secure this very 2 weeks leave, not sure of getting another leave.

He now wants to find out if he can travel alone and return home after his two weeks leave?
Hope he wont be returned at POE if he doesn't enter with his family as planned?

2. Strong ties are defined as the things that will make sure you return back to Nigeria, from the US.
- Are you married?
- How long have you been married?
- Do you have kids (it is not relevant where you have them)?
- Are you working?
- How long have you been working?
- What is your position and how relevant is that position to your organization?
- Your finances (this is tied to work and other side-jobs)
- NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR TRAVEL HISTORY. PEOPLE WITH 'VIRGIN' PASSPORTS HAVE GOTTEN VISAS.
3. The above mentioned in number 2 are determined from the form you filled and the interview that is conducted. Those are just strong ties, there are other aspects to the visa process.

What about who have been granted without no travel experience? Because you were probably not given does not means others won't be given, travel experience is good but it is not a yardstick cos there some with alot of travel experience yet they were still refused visa.

2. Assess your ties to Nigeria, think like a VO would - do you consider strong, your ties to Nigeria, if you were a VO? Forget about what's in your heart or mind, what can you present as a strong tie.
3. Fill your forms truthfully and honestly.

bro my honest advice ...' From Experience' don't apply for U.S. visa with your wife or as a family without travel experience ... NB:: not just travel history , but correct travel history cause travel history differs from travel history ... A word is enough for the wise .

Please i want to find out on my chances, i was denied student visa twice sometimes 2011 (both Lagos and Abuja) office but then i was single, but now am happily married with a 3 yrs old son, i wish to travel to the state with my family on vacation this summer. Have got a nice job, my wife has a very good job, both are Federal Jobs. My question is, do i need to fill another DS 160 form and what are my chances because we don't have any travel history.

The ZOO will never get things right ...I have lived in Ghana for almost 3 years and never seen an electric wire dangling or pole down after a heavy rain...and they also use armored cable which aids better flow of electric current and prevents any damage to wires leading to sparks
