@Cheerychy, you need to be strong at this time and face reality. Yours was like mine. I knew I was pregnant in Jan. last year but had pink spot for 4 days then hpt tested positive in Feb. When I was supposed to 9weeks on March 1st, I was 5weeks plus. Which means I had mc in Jan and conceived again. In April, I was dated 8weeks instead of 12weeks with no hb. It was so hard for me but had to do dnc.
rofemiguwa has said it all. Even when there's mc, hpt will still be positive for some weeks. After another scan and no sign of life, have an evacuation and stay off sex for 6weeks so your hormone will be balanced while the hpt will be negative. During that time, take preconception Pregnacare - His and Hers preferable. When time for ttc, study your ovulation and meet at the right time. Put everything at God's feet, He shall see you thru. E-Hugs.

Me sef wan say that o. with the high rate of dollar to naira that only little I fit buy. At first, I was doing shakara for my sis when she said I should pack her fairly used and unused baby things but when money no reach anywhere, I humbled myself went my sis place to pack what I can use. She laugh me, no be small.
Now na naming ceremony I dey prepare for now. What to wear, who will cook, drinks, renting of chairs and table, Dj/band, pastor that will do naming... It's just like my wedding preparation. When I gave dh the list, na so e no talk o but me no send lol. There's is saying that person wey im wife carry belle for 9months, naming expenses no be emergency matter again. As a ftm, must enjoy that day. When I born finish, I wan relax for that 7days to naming while everything is in place

The fatigue alone should stop you doing strenous exercise. What you can only do at this stage are walking and swimming.

Edd was supposed to b 20 Feb o. I was at work this morning around 7am when i started havn menstrual like cramps. I dnt thnk mch of it bt my instinct told me to leave d office by nine am cos it ws gettn more frequent. i still felt d baby de do shakara. i decided to take a walk to my moms place..nt too far from my office. I was there when i felt a sudden gush of liquid from my V. it was brown and so much..Around 10 am my water broke. So messy...reality nw dawned on me. My hubby came to pick me and we arrived d hosp around sm mins to one.. I was 6-7cm dilated when i was first examined..d yeye docs were nw saying my water had meconium that is baby had pooed in me. They scared me by looking for fetal heartbeat..na so dem no hear anythn o .shuo! I cm de fear o..They doc examined d cervix again n told d nurses that i was fully dilated and dey shd cm n take delivery..i was stunned..now now! My sisters, it can only b God oo. d doc askd me if i knew hw to push and I said d Lord will teach me..na so we cm start oo..i de grunt...lol..there were more than 5 medical personnel in that room..all of them shouting push...na so d doc told d nurse to cut me o ...dt one was doing sme sme..d doc shouted that she shd cut it well..i felt it oo..choi! not long after that i pushd like i wanted to use d toilet n mi baby gal cm out..dey put her on my chest...at 1:15pm. Sexy borning. #FTM. D labour no even pain me like that...d stitches were painful...m sure i was stitched more than 20 times and d wicked doctor did not have mercy on me...I was glad when it was over sha...

I troway salute everyone. #TeamMarch how preparation dey go? I don almost finish o. Today was my antenatal and the nurses yab me finish no be small. It happened that I took my hospital bag to clinic last week but some items were rejected that I had to buy it from there. I asked for the price but told me I should bring enough money today. So today I went fully loaded and bought the remaining items to complete all. After paying, I asked for the price of the list so as to write each item and the price down. Come see yabbing, I be Ijebu, that they don't calculate what is spent on baby and I'm not grateful that I'm pregnant without spending millions to look for it. I know the prices are on high side but don't I have right to write down the prices? Chai, I was ashamed of myself today

sharon6 Pls stay at the hospital especially if you're ftm. My sis's first labour started at 5am, got to hospital at 7am and gave birth at after 8pm. It will end in praise for you and wish you quick safe delivery.

goldenruby plantain is good jare especially the unripe one, it helps to boast your pcv. Only the the ripe one is sweet and can elevate blood sugar in diabetes patients.

loistee Constipation is part of 1st trimester symptoms. Mine stayed till 14weeks, Until I vomit, I wouldn't be myself and vomiting lasted till 18weeks. I started enjoying pregnancy when the baby started to kick. So hold on there, the symptoms will still subside

I didn't exchange words of abuse with her. mind you, People think I'm her daughter because our relationship isn't dil/mil one and I regard her. She can't go anywhere without me sef. Imagine after preparing dinner one evening, only busy with Ewedu and that time collided with my favorite soap opera on Telemundo, I was watching o and all of a sudden, she switched off t.v. that I should focus on the Jute leaves I was removing from its thread. In my house... chai, dat thing pain me o but I didn't react. Even my mum knows that I enjoy my soap opera and won't disturb me. I only follow two soap operas out of all.

It reminds me of my dh cousin who came to visit me with sil when I had miscarriage, It happened that the cousin and I were both pregnant at the same time but I lost mine in April. In June when another missionary journey had started and believing God for this pregnancy, the cousin saw the Pregnacare Max that I only used for one day before the mc happened and she asked me to give her. I said NO. she said I should sell it to her in installment, I said No that I still wanted to use it. She vex, left my house to my mil's to report me and told her 'iyawo yin yen lahun gan o - that your wife is so stingy o'.

dhabeautyjas I quite agree with you. My mil is such an authoritarian person. She likes so much honour, respect and to be in control. You can't just greet her by bending your knees but to go down on your two knees. Yesterday, she called me according to her, to put me in order that I can't turn dh and fil against her. She's still furious that I left her place and no one supports her that I should call the young boy, uncle.

I've heard your opinion and will try to adjust only that mil wants to be in control all the time even against my own wish. I see more confrontations coming when I deliver but will be diplomatic. Imagine my dh and I were discussing about how much to spend for baby things. Because she's a midwife and very familiar with the baby stuffs, I asked her how much it would cover and she said 100k, dh brought out 80k that we should know how to manage it and I gave it to her to keep for the next day so we'd go for shopping together since I'm a ftm. The following day, she just went out without my notice and brought home baby things, some of the things I dislike. Her excuse was we would waste time had we gone together and I'm too heavy to be roaming about. It was as if I was robbed of my right. Though I've allowed her too much access into my marriage because I saw her like my mum, gave her the privilege but misused it. Anyway before I left, I knelt down to beg her but I know my departure will also cause issue but I don't want any more issue.

After all my own initial gragra with inlaw matters I've come to realise that perhaps a subtle approach is indeed the way to go! Some battles are not worth it. Knowing what I know now if it were me id have laughed and said its ok. The said individual how many times do you see him or have to interact with him? After you born ya pikin nor be your house you go return to? I'm happy your dh took sides but the other family members nko? Sometimes these small small issues start up large fires that will be hard to quench. Please find a way to mend fences with the woman. Na beg I dey beg you. As for calling the fellow uncle how about calling him Mr xyz? Will it be easier than uncle? I can't start what I can't finish. Calling a 14years J.S 2 student an uncle is uncalled for. For crying out loud, I can give birth to this young boy in my teenage years and he's not my dh's cousin but will be my children's generation. This iya/baba oko of a thing is absurd

I finally bought the Rhogam injection today, as a mum indicated earlier that the price increases per dollar rate...I bought mine for 31800...I wanted to leave it dia as dey said cos dey advised that it should be kept refrigerated till d day of delivery but dh insisted he will go home with it cos nobody knows d time Labour will come, whether at midnight...although its in my fridge now but am scared whether it will spoil or not...pls I need advice on this

Good decision you've made but it needs to be refrigerated all the time. With our poor power supply, you won't be able to keep it fresh so expect you have access to power supply 24/7, I'd advise you store it with your hospital you'll give birth
