Please how much does an ultrasound cost? We are not doing well financially and would like to know if it will be expensive or not.. I've been bleeding for days now and I had severe cramps in which I passed clots, I know I've had a miscarriage but I just need to have a u.s, it's my first time.

It's N1,500-2k and it willing be required every month or every 2weeks if bleeding persists. Please be on bedrest and see medical care asap.

Compliment of the season to everyone and happy birthday to all December babies like me, representing Boxing Day but unfortunately I'll be on Hospital bed as I'm expecting yet again and on bedrest.

Shame dey catch me to join another birth team... ha ha, what's it, na only me? I nearly changed my moniker to start afresh but you, my mothers and sisters have been my supporting system from time past

I strived but submit to God's will, for He knows all. When it was just few weeks left to August 25th. I fell to labour and before I could say Jack, the water gushed out on first Sunday. I was rushed to nearby hospital where I gave birth to my Angel but she only survived few minutes. Everything happened suddenly but thank God I'm alive because the delivery was serious as the baby was brought buttocks first. I lost lot of blood but I survived it all though my baby girl is no more.

I don't know how to handle the loss especially when my b..bs full and no baby to feed. Pray for me pls

My 13 weeks preg wife woke me up last night and I saw fear in her eyes. So I asked what the matter is and she said to me "blood". She said she went to urinate and found blood on the tissue she used to wipe. Then there was a drop of blood on the floor. Is this a normal thing? Anyone here experienced this before?

We intend seeing our doctor this weekend.

How's she now hope the she sought medical help asap. Bed rest is really advisable and taking the prescribed progesterone drugs.
I had same experience and now in 3rd trimester so be positive.

Congrats to May mamas who have delivered and wish others safe delivery with a glorious bs.

Thanking God for seeing me this far. With my medical history, Doctor had to congratulate me for reaching 26weeks milestone and pregnancy doing well.

The journey seemed far from 280days but I'm in 2digits - remaining just 99days and the beginning of third trimester.

Team August, how are we all doing o. Gradually, we are entering 3rd trimester one by one.

I'll be 23weeks by Saturday and loving this month of April, no complication or running to hospital except for antenatal. Sex will be known by next week. Doctor asked me to wait till 23weeks for anomal (or anominal) scan. I've done 4 scans altogether during this pregnancy.

God shall take control of everything in our lives

I'm fine o, the Lord is our strength. To the glory of God, the spotting/bleeding finally stopped 2weeks ago and lo kicking like no tomorrow. Just asking God to replenish our pocket so I can go for baby things.

Thanks madam zaynie. for remaining anonymous, I cancelled my name while I wanted full interpretation of the result because when I asked, I was told the result was fair and wasn't satisfied. I've deleted it now.

When I checked my folder, no diagnosis written there just a threatened miscarriage written in red pen and bed rest coupled with the drug prescription.

I'll be discharged this morning and bed rest is advised at home while I'll be seeing doctor for follow up every 2weeks.

I was placed on vasoprin on one of my antenatal visits. My bp has always been normal. I suspect I was given because of family history of bp but d Dr didn't tell me even when I asked.

But when I started bleeding, a nurse advised me to stock taking it because it thins d blood n I should confirm from a Dr. I asked d snr Dr that prescribed it and he said I should discontinue because of d spotting.

That's the reason I was questioning this vasopriñ because of aspirin. When I asked doctor again, he said I should take once daily.
I'm on it now but not convinced. Thanks

U basically on bedrest.... that's the treatment for threatened miscarriage and the duvaston is a progesterone used to support the pregnancy..... bleeding should stop soon don't worry......

But u can ask the doctor why n what he thinks is causing the bleeding

Thanks lessonslearned. I wasn't told specifically the cause but just that it's threatened and I need bed rest coupled with the medications I'm given, it will be controlled.

Hello able mamas in house. May we all deliver safely in Jesus name.

I was scared of the brown spotting not stopping since 6weeks gestation so last week Wednesday, I went to emergency at the general hospital I registered and got admitted immediately for threatened miscarriage. Since Wednesday, I'm just on lexotan 1.5mg and bed rest while I did blood, hvs and urinalysis. The blood test showed negative malaria parasite and other test was available this evening. No b.p., no pain, just little brown blood stain when I pee. Today I did scan and the baby is growing perfectly at 17weeks, normal heartbeat, adequate amniotic fluid and anterior placenta.
What's bothering is I'm not seeing changes. The senior doctor prescribed vasoprin and duvaston before the test was available today. I learnt the vasoprin is for blood pressure which the nurse said my bp is between 83 - 95 and it's normal.

Sorry for the long post, here are the test result and the prescription. Does it correlate to threatened miscarriage or I should wait for another doctor because different doctors are just coming with different view.

Pls help me mention those who know about medical.

Lord has been faithful. Last week Sunday had me scary as I bled throughout with clot. I registered with general hospital so I rushed to hospital to see emergency doctor. Most of the pregnant women there were bleeding and I was even encouraging some to have faith. I was sent to do scan and to the glory of God, the baby was kicking at 15weeks, no abnormality and actually tallied with my LMP edd, August 25. No treatment was given but to go home and rest. The bleeding has stopped. My booking date is March 27 and can't wait.

I'm writing this to give hope to someone in my shoe as I too read about women who bled and still have healthy babies.

March mamas, well done o. I'm expecting March 28 baby.

I feel like I have a genius as a son. When two of us are competing and even fight most times who to press Mummy's phone, people around will be saying I should not give him because he won't know how yo handle smartphone and to get him a toy phone to play... I'll be like, you don't know this boy. He can operate my phone independently and open his educational app at will. Always careful with it so it won't fall and help me lock it when he's done. Did I say he'll be 2years next month?
He's more addicted to my phone than I. You see why I'm browsing at midnight when he's fast asleep and no disturbance but it has really helped him a lot. Though he hasn't started school because we're relocating next month but he can recite 1-20, A-Z, identify colours and shapes.
Only that mummy's phone is the available while Daddy's phone I'd always unavailable. Now tell me how this boy will not buy me aeroplane first before even remembering his dad when he grows up. Lol

All eyes on me as belly starts to protrude now. I had a very flat tummy pre-pregnancy, it bloats in the morning like I ate heavy food and shoot out in the evening after eating. I'm just 11weeks 3days today and someone called me iyabeji. At first, I ignored but she tapped me and called iyabeji several times. I framed one fake smile because I still want to concede but this has come to stay.

Hello my E-sisters. The Lord is our banner and our strength.

Pls don't think I'm someone that always have issue, you're a shoulder I lean on in my distress.

January wasn't easy for me but the Lord has won the battle already.

My LMP was Nov. 18 and edd should be August 25.

On January 4th, I started spotting and quickly ran to the hospital, scan was done and was given two options - missed abortion or underdeveloped pregnancy. I was supposed to be 6weeks 5days but dated 4weeks 6days with sept.7th as new edd. I was instructed to be on complete bed rest

Immediately I got home, I saw bright red blood, called doctor and told me to rest. few minutes later, it changed to old blood spot and mucus. Sorry, tmi. With time, it was minimal, only old blood spot when I wipe even till now

I kept praying and to the glory of God, the baby is growing with good heart pulse. When I went for scan yesterday, it was 9weeks 3days with September 3 as new edd. It can only be God judging by the two miscarriages I had and didn't last till this one.

I pray God will perfect all that concerns us and we shall testify in Jesus name (Amen)

At first, I wanted to hide and remain silent but of what use. I believe my pregnancy shall be viable and sisters in this group supported me during my trials.

Still on the matter. tested 7days period late, negative. 14days period late, negative. I was so worried, the pregnancy symptoms was on and off. I started doubting my state of fertility health and didn't even DTD with dh since ovulation period though it wasn't easy. The pregnancy symptoms started fully 3days ago and I tested yesterday - CD42, 17days late period, Alas BPF stared right back at me!
I'm happy and concerned at the same time having miscarriage twice but I've been praying. Pls send me off with your prayers as I wish everyone BFP.

So here's my birthday (Dec.26) and wedding anniversary (Dec. 6) gift. Now I can celebrate to the glory of God

anxiety is not a bae at all. This cycle is about to end in 2days time and can't wait to know if we've scored. Had malaria on fertile window CD 8-14 and just DTD once. Only to have ovulation spot on cd15 and I grabbed dh that day and day after. On CD 20 and 21, had spot which I hope was implantation. Since then I've been checking for clue: cramping, sore bre.st, bloating.
Oh pls don't wake me up and still hold congratulations till I test. lol. Come what may, this December/January will be all good but won't be bad to gave bfp as birthday/wedding anniversary gift.
