Politics / Re: Femi Fani-kayode Reacts To Senator Dino Melaye's Imprisonment - Read by SBG04: 3:32pm On May 03, 2018
All these thugs and miscreants like FFK, Fayose and Melaye that always find a way to involve Buhari in everything. Very soon FFK will allege that it's because of Buhari he can't enter that his igbo wife. Someone should tell me one constructive criticism that Melaye has made against Buhari? Even the more vocal members of the Senate like Misau and Shehu Sani have said crazy things against Buhari without any consequence whatsoever. Is it the inconsequential Melaye that knows nothing other than flaunt cars on Instagram, beat his wives, escort Toyin Saraki to the EFCC and release acapella videos, that Buhari will worry about?

The worst thing any man can do is get himself involved with a woman who doesn't have a good heart or to use money to woo and win a woman. Only get married to a serious born again, church freak. Never marry an Instagram slay queen and money freak. It'll lead to death. Never marry a woman with an active, regularly updated Instagram or snap chat account.

Truth of the matter is that once it was revealed that those prisoners that implicated Dino escaped from custody, it became obvious that those guys really implicated Dino. I'm sure the Police has rock hard evidence against Dino. That's why the IG is pursuing this thing as if tomorrow no dey. That's why he has completely ignored the Senate President. Maybe they've traced his call logs to the thugs. That could be why Dino is pulling all these stunts. No mercy for Dino.

Logically speaking Garba Shehu may have been right. At the twilight of Jonathan's administration, Jonathan's government could not pay FG workers and was even owing salaries. The FG was then borrowing to pay because Jonathan had emptied the national treasury during his campaign. It therefore makes sense that he would have wanted to sack workers because he couldn't pay them.

You are a darling. The hypocrite calls IRAN supporter of terrorists whike USA and Isreal are exonerated yet tagged me a supporter because I don't agree with his views. The painful thing about all these is, majority are brainwashed and gullible.
Bros I'm not pro Jewish or Zionist. I'm on the side of peace here. I'm a pragmatist. Peace comes from accepting that Israel has a right to exist and has rights to the land they occupy in Palestine. Those who have refused to accept the existence of Israel, preferring instead for the "Jews to be swept into the sea" as Ahmedinajad once put it, are the ones that are constantly looking to destabilize the entire region. Peace comes from accepting that Israel is going nowhere. Tell your Iranian, Hamas and Hezbollah friends that if they want peace, they should lay down their arms and stop firing missiles into Israel and threatening to exterminate the entire Jewish state. Nobody is going to sit by and watch the Iranians exterminate the Jews. Not going to happen! Deal with it!

You don't care what Isreal / USA does but you care about Iran and should be penalised while Isreal is free. The images earlier proves how USA arms terrorist in Syria but it shouldn't be talked about because it's Almighty USA so they are exonerated. Isn't that hypocrisy at its finest and typical of Nigerian?
Bros I hate to go into the gutter with you but ill try to go down to your level without soiling myself.
The US sent arms to moderate rebels at the onset of the Syrian war so they could fight ISIS and the Syrian regime that was killing it's own people. At least we know that was the intention. What is Iran's intention in arming the Houti rebels in Yemen? To foster peace? No! It is to establish a front against Sunni Saudi Arabia and claim hegemony in the middle east. What is Iran's reason for sending ballistic missiles to Hezbollah in Lebanon? To rain down missiles on Israel! That's the purpose! Iran's leaders always threaten to wipe Israel off the map and rain down fire on them. If you were in Israel and a country that has always threatened Israel's existence was establishing a base on your border, would you not be scared to hell?
Please let's leave sentiment aside and be objective. If Iran wants respect in the international community, it has to stop sending weapons to terrorists across the middle east. It's very simple! Stop supporting terrorists!!!

This comment cements what others said about how MSM has brainwashed you. IRAN is the problem of Middle East while Saudi Arabia and Isreal are saints
The way you argue is very irritating and reminds me of how typical Nigerians argue. When the government in Nigeria takes someone to court, you'll hear Nigerians saying "is he the only corrupt person" or "there are other corrupt people why him". Some Nigerians will never ask if he truly stole.
Same thing here. Does Iran supply terrorist groups in Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine with Ballistic missiles? Yes! Case closed!!! I don't give one Bleep what Israel or the US or turkey are doing or have done before. Please learn to argue facts and not sentiment like the typical Nigerian is apt to do. Thanks.

Does Isreal supply "moderate terrorists in Syria" weapons? Yes
Did Isreal kill scores as proved by the previous attachment ? Yes
Hezbollah isn't different from CIA, FSB. The latter are even worst especially CIA

The same "drone program" that Iraq was working on prior to the invasion. Same tactics is being used now so they can invade Iran.

Go and read about

Yinon plan
7 countries in 5 years
Oga please stop acting childish!
Are you telling me Houti rebels in Yemen (the poorest country in the middle east) suddenly got hold of drone technology from the moon? Iran is funding all the known terrorist groups in the middle East and is supplying them weapons for free. This is why I will side with trump on his insistence on scrapping the nuclear deal. You must be a very naive Nigerian to deny the negative effects of terrorism on countries, using Nigeria as a case study. Saudi Arabia is regularly targeted with Iranian made ballistic missiles from Yemen. Just a few weeks ago a couple landed close to the Airport in Riyadh.
The same way Boko haram is formenting trouble in Nigeria's far North is the same way Iran is destabilizing Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine. For a Nigerian who has seen the effects of terrorism to be actively supporting terrorist groups and their arms suppliers and backers is nothing short of disgraceful and shameful.

You have been missed with wrong informations. The major sponsors of terrorist groups are USA, UK, Saudi Arabia, Isreal and Turkey. You are only a "sponsor of terrorism " when you don't ally with USA.

The first attachment shows how USA sponsors Al Qeada and this group metamorphoised into ISIS.

This second attachment happened not too long ago but MSM wouldn't day sh!t about it because its Isreal. IRAN has always been a country Isreal wants to attack, they are the ONLY country in the Middle East that is problematic to them
Please let's not behave like nursery school children and start deflecting blame.
Does Iran supply ballistic missiles to Houti rebels in Yemen? Yes!
Does Iran supply the ballistic missiles Hamas regularly launches into Israel? Yes!
Does Iran supply ballistic weapons to Hezbollah? Yes!
Does Iran have a drone program that it has exported to rebels in Yemen and to Hezbollah? Yes!
Those are the facts!

WW3 loading....... but he doesn't know this will be the demise of the West. All empires come to die in Persia. This is just the beginning...

Did everyone see the pathetic shameful powerpoint display he did on Iran supposedly building up nuclear bombs on Project Amad?

It reminded me of the run up to the War in Iraq, when the shameless, lying Colin Powell came to the UN holding a vial of yellow cake Saddam supposedly had to make bombs.

It is like history keeps repeating itself for some reason.... grin

What are the facts on ground:
1. Israel has been salivating to attack Iran ever since its inception in 1947. USA, the military arm of Israel, also is on board along with the Arab Gulf states spearheaded by Saudi Arabia. All the Zionists and Neocons are foaming at the mouth right now at the thought of war.
2. Any war that breaks out in the Middle East is a win for the oil producing nations, especially Saudi Arabia, because the country is in huge trouble financially. As long as the price of oil remains below $80 per barrel, their budget cannot break even. Even the Crown Prince MBS said it himself that Saudi needs oil prices to be high for their economy to be feasible. (http://time.com/5229227/saudi-arabia-mohammed-bin-salman-interview-oil/)
3. The Military Industrial Complex gains "bigly" if a war breaks out. Remember the limited strike Trump carried out on the 13th of April saw their stocks rise making them billions overnight.
4. Who suffers are the civilians caught in war, soldiers that have to lay their life for stupid reasons and regular folk like you and me who will have to pay higher prices for petroleum products.
5. This will definitely lead to that final global economic crash we have all been waiting for, as this might be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Higher oil prices means increased consumer spending on fuel rather than on consumer goods, as well as increased running costs for corporations which leads to a hike in their prices. But as a lot of corporations are already in huge debt and facing rising interest rates from the Fed and with reduced consumer spending, it will reduce earnings/profits which will lead to stock market crash.

And that's how the dominoes fall..... wink
Bros I completely disagree with you. In as much as I agree with the fact that Israel is a war mongering country, there are legitimate reasons for this nuclear deal with Iran to be scrapped. I even feel Obama would have done the same if he was still in power.
The deal, though guarantied that Iran will halt all enrichment programs and subject itself to regular testing by international inspectors, does not include Iran's ballistic missile program which has been wrecking havoc across the middle East. Hezbollah and Hamas both have a massive stockpile of ballistic missiles which they regularly fire into Isreal. These missiles are definitely manufactured in Iran and given to these militant groups for free. The Saudis are also victims of Iran's ballistic missile program because Iran also supplies the Houti rebels in Yemen with Ballistic missiles that are fired into Saudi Arabia regularly. If Iran wants to be a responsible member of the international community, it has to stop supporting terrorist groups in the middle east.
Trump is an irresponsible misfit of a President, but his policy towards Iran is spot on! Iran must also not be allowed to establish any foothold in Syria because it will definitely use Syria as a northern front in further attacks on Isreal with Ballistic missiles.

Dino Melaye was invited by the police to appear and possibly answer to allegations concerning gun running and illegal arms. He refused to appear. An illegality!!! The police wrote tithe Senate to release Melaye to appear before it, the Saraki led Senate refused and ignored. Another illegality!!! The police tried to arrest him in Kogi when he went to a burial ceremony, Saraki shielded a this wanted man and prevented his arrest! The Senate President shielding a fugitive senator (that on its own is the height of illegality). Melaye attempted to travel out ofnthe country and his passport was seized by immigration. He went online and boasted that he snatched his passport back from immigration. A senator!!! That is another illegality. He the surrendered to the police after they surrounded his house. He was in transit to Kogi to face the Federal High court when two vehicles double crossed the transit vehicle and attempted to free Melaye. Melaye jumped out and escaped police custody. Another Illegality!!!
What baffles me in all this is that we have bastards and idiot Nigerians here in this thread screaming Buhari and persecution, not minding the fact that the man and his boss, Saraki, have ascribed to themselves, powers above every institution in Nigeria. If you think Dino Melaye is your friend and he's fighting for you, you're the biggest fool in Nigeria today.

Opioid addiction is the number one killer in America today, and kills thousands of people more per year than Lassa fever and Poilo combined have killed in Nigeria, yet NO AMERICAN will accept any insult to his country the way you want the whole world to insult and demean you. Lesson: the fact that your country has issues does not make it worthless. It is not a crime to be a developing natipn.

What starving population? Please go and take pictures of these starving Nigerians and post, let us see. Or else, zip your nasty, fake news peddling lips. As for Nigeria needing ''billions in aid'', you must be living on Planet Jupiter. Our foreign reserves just hit $60 billion. We don't need anybody's aid.

This has to be the most foolish comment I've seen on this thread and it's a pity that this is how the typical young Nigerian thinks!!!
Someone who counts foreign reserves as a measure of socio-economic wellbeing.
Mr ignorant Nigerian Youth, we actually have just USD47 billion in our foreign reserves. This has very little socio-economic significance because it just tells an outsider that the price of oil has been high this year. Finish!
Per capital income in Nigeria is one of the lowest in the world! Access to health care, security and life expectancy in Nigeria are very abysmal! To underscore how bad things are in Nigeria, Nigeria has less than 7 radiotherapy machines in the entire country of which 5 are faulty!!!! For a population of 180million! If you go down with cancer today in Nigeria, you're as good as dead because the chance of you getting treatment is very low. Nigeria has one of the world's severe cases of Kidney failure yet we have less than 3 centres in the country that can perform kidney transplants. While all this is happening, we have young Nigerians donating money to sex shows and arguing Nigerian/Ghanian jollof!!!
Mr lazy and ignorant Nigerian Youth, I really pity you and the future you're carving for yourself if you think Nigeria is a paradise as it is.

YOU ARE WRONG. They do NOT know the 'difference' between any Africa countries. Once they hear 'Nigeria', they hear 'Africa', which to them means ''no schools'', ''poor villages'', food aid trucks, and charities. Despite the fact that Africa relies for less than 5% of its annual GDP on 'foreign aid'. The western media has deliberately distorted the image of Africa to the world. If you go on Youtube, you'll see many videos by Africans correcting western impressions by showing pictures of cities like Johannesburg, Lagos, Nairobi, Accra etc, and you will see hundreds of responses by Americans and others saying they HAD NO IDEA that Africa had any of those developments. You can watch American TV for 10 years and NOT see ONE single image of a modern African setting that does not relate to poverty, disease, or wildlife. For the majority of Americans - indeed for the majority of people on earth, people, OUR MODERN AFRICA - of banks, universities, shopping malls, expressways, flyovers, skyscrapers, well-heeled people - does not actually exist.

Bros what you have written here does not change the fact that Nigeria has the highest population of Internally displaced people in the world. It doesn't change the fact that more than 70million Nigerians live below 1 dollar a day. It doesn't change the fact that Nigeria is one of the few countries on earth where Polio and Lassa Fever are still endemic. It doesn't change the fact that Nigeria needs billions of dollars in aid for its starving populatuon. I don't understand why the typical Nigerian Youth lives in denial of all these facts. You guys always want to argue that Nigeria is not what the West portrays it to be, when in actual fact the level of underdevelopment and backwardness is even underreported! Why not dissipate all this energy you use in denying and arguing that Nigeria is not poor, into helping your fellow poor Nigerians! Organise charities to cater to the needy. Send aid teams comprising young people to conflict areas in Nigeria. The Nigerian Youth should stop living in denial and start effecting some change in the society!!!

Nowhere in the mass media or popular culture here in Nigeria will you see Nigerian charities canvassing for aid or charity for their fellow suffering and hungry Nigerians. Instead what we have is Foreigners begging on our behalf for people to come to the aid of our brothers and sisters in distress! This is a procurement issue. The company in the US will not just spend millions of dollars on manufacturing those 12 aircrafts for 2years without getting any monetary commitment. Nobody does business like that. If they're going to start manufacturing those aircrafts now and if they're to deliver in 2020, they must get payment and commence in March. That was the agreement with the FG. All this has been communicated to the leadership of the National Assembly, but because those ones have vested interests and have always wanted something to use to hold and blackmail Buhari into helping them steal and get away with stealing, they will not even attempt to understand that this is a national security procurement with necessary budgetary exemption.

Did Buhari steal any money? No!!
Why the impeachment? Because the US gave the FG a deadline of March 2018 to make payment in order to meet 2020 delivery for the Aircrafts. The FG knew that if it sent an amended appropriation bill containing the expense to the National Assembly for approval, the NA would take 6months and demand bribes before approval, same way they have delayed the 2018 budget budget Buhari presented to them since November 2017!!!! I'm sure Buhari would have communicated the withdrawal to the NA before withdrawing the money. But because we criminals in the NA that are only interested in blackmailing the FG to drop corruption cases against its members, they are threatening impeachment over a procedural matter that they are even the cause of. I really hope Nigerians know who their real enemies are. If you people think Saraki is your savior, I really pity you.
