Good evening everyone,

Congratulations to every ITA and PPR recipients.

Please, I entered the pool in December and updated some information 2 days later which reflected and I got an email on the update.

However, I made another update a few days after and that has not reflected till today. It keeps showing "changes not updated"

What should I do please.

Thanks in advance

Spouse is non-accompanying. Would it have showed if he was accompanying?

Thanks for the response

Good afternoon everyone,
Following @mummytutu's advice of entering the pool despite having a low score, I decided to enter.
However, after filling, there is no where I was required to input details of others that will be travelling with me, I could only input my details as PA. Please, is that how it is or there is a place to add them.

I would appreciate, your kind responses.

Note: the profile has been created and my score awarded.

Thanks as I await your responses

Hello everyone,
I actually wrote the Dec 2 exam, and truth is I have been sad since then.

The result: LRSW: 7.5, 7.5, 8, 7.5

I sincerely believed I did better than what I got for L and R, because I cannot imagine dropping over 6 questions for both of them. While statistics for upgrade of L and R is not particularly favourable, there are a few exceptions and I am seriously considering this route.

Please, I would like to find out if anyone has collected their TRF, as I would need it to apply for remarking.

The only challenge I have is with the time frame, of which if there is no upgrade, before I will be able to write another exam may not be earlier than April.

By my initial projection, I would have been entering the pool today, even though my projected score is far from current realities at 425.
mcstan18:
Oga put on your swimsuit and dive into that pool already. Who told you that TRF is a sine qua non to entering the pool? A few pages back, someone detailed how to generate the TRF number and that works perfectly cos I went ahead to verify with a friend's. If not for the silly 7.5 in the Listening test of December 2, I'd have been swimming in lane 430. I actually created my profile long before the results came out knowing very well that I can always edit the scores so long as the revamp doesn't take me below the ITA score for that round.

Brother, you have only a few hours to do this. Make hay while the sun is still up and don't forget to come back for your testimony and tithe grin
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Scard: 6:50pm On Dec 14, 2017
I think WES automatically picks the year on your certificate. The year on my WES account is different from what I inputted but it is the same as what was on my Certificate. It becomes a problem if your year of graduattion is far from the year your certificate was awarded.

Myredeemerlives:
Hi family,
Please help me. I made a mistake in the year of graduation while filling WES form. Can someone help me with WES email, or any fastest way to reach them.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Scard: 8:33pm On Dec 12, 2017
Do you or did you live in the US?

This your English though

Canadianfly:
Well in future y'all can still get info without telling people your plans. You and the husband need to agree that NO SOUL grin shall know about this plan until y'all are ready to bounce. There's no saying who else the woman will tell that "imagine Macy4real200 and her husband even want to leave Naija? See them and their yeye dream....."

Even if you have POF hustle, no one needs to know exactly what you are doing. Make una talk less and research, plan and pray more for a thriving future when you land in Canada. All the best.

All the best in your plans

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Scard: 9:07pm On Dec 09, 2017
I do not have any specific questions at the moment since I'm still doing my WES Evaluation and IELTS. I believe, I would be in a position to ask when filling the EE profile.

That being said, I am not sure of the effect on my application as a "single parent" with 3 children with a non-accompanying spouse

optionese:
What question do you want answered?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Scard: 10:54am On Dec 09, 2017
I am in the same situation too. I do pray that we would be successful and be able to provide guidance for those coming after us. Right now it seems most people here are either single or married with spouse accompanying

Answers

No. 1. I am not sure. Let the gurus answer that.
No. 2. You can apply with two kids without their dad. You can either declare their dad but include him as non accompanying. Or you can decide not to include him. That way your indicating you're divorced. You'll show divorce documents. But you won't need any other document from him.

On the fees. It will be cheaper only to the extent that you will not pay application fee and rprf but you'll still show pof for four people if you're not divorced and even if he's not accompanying.

With regards to medicals. If you put him as non accompanying you'll still need his medicals and PCC. But if I you're filling divorced then you won't need any document.

Gurus in the house am I right. Because I'm kind of in the same situation so I've been doing a lot of reading and research. In my case we are still married but he's not applying and he give his full support to us.

Hello everyone,

Hearty congratulations to all ITA and PPR recipients, we pray that everyone who desires PPR will find it.

Please, a quick question: if I apply for PNP and at the same time, I'm in the EE pool, what happens to the PNP process if I get an ITA based on my existing score without having the nomination yet?

Abeg oh, do not read and pass, kindly read and answer if you can

Thanks

Relatively new here. Joined the thread somewhat at the end of part 2 and the information I have gotten so far has been more than helpful. I refuse to be a silent reader. I hope I'd be able to contribute one way or the other. I shall announce my PPR and COPR in this part 3.

IELTS- L-8.5, R-9, W-7,S-7.5
ECA- waiting for verification from Unilag.

Good evening everyone,

Congratulations to all PPR recipients. I pray for Godspeed in all your future endeavours.

So I finally took the IELTS test today, and to be honest I felt it was pretty straightforward.

Anyhow, I wish myself and everyone else who took the exams today HUGE SUCCESS. Our hard work shall not be in vain.

I have a question though: is it the same exams that is taken across all the different centres on a given day? I wrote in Lagos, and I'm wondering if it's the same exam in Abuja, Ibadan and PH.

Cheers

Hello Ljay17, please I just PM'd you. I'd appreciate if you respond. I need more information on On PNP

Ljay17:
Whew...finally caught up with thread. undecided

Big congrats to all the PPR and ITA recipients.

The thread is moving quite fast I must admit. I noticed a lot people quoting long posts. This practice contributed greatly to the speed of the thread. I urge us to refrain from doing this.

May I also add my voice to those of us requesting for a separate thread for PNP route. Many people with low CRS would benefit from such dedicated thread. Being a PNP candidate myself, I can attest to the fact that not much PNP info/experience sharing is available on this particular thread.

For people considering the PNP route, ON is a very good option if you can afford the CAD 1,500. Got my nomination within 16 days of submitting my application to their Human Capital Priorities Stream.

In conclusion however, I urge every person embarking on this life changing journey to be ready to put in the work! Don’t expect anyone to spoon feed you with information that you can learn by doing your own thorough research (not limited to Nairaland). May God bless everyone taking out time to answer questions and helping people out on this thread.

Journey so far:

PNP - ON
AOR: 16th Sep
Medicals Passed: 12th Oct
Ip1: 12th Oct
NA2: 13th Oct
IP2: ?
PPR: smiley

I’m available to answer any related questions or enquiries. Cheers guys

Two ways either visit their office in Ikoyi or better still the more effective method....

The British Office lagos phone is bad so i suggest you call another branch office Abuja, or Kano or Port Hartcourt. Kano has been very helpful lately. Check their number on British council website and place a call. All your issues will be resolved in minutes.
Thank you @Beblessedbaba, @eisteino and @threadstone. I had sent the payment details to them same Tuesday I made the payment

Good afternoon all, please what happens after paying for IELTS? I made payment since Tuesday and no response from them till now.

Thanks for your assistance as always
Hello guys. please answer me naa, abeg. I don't want to mention names because I know there are enough people here who can.

Also, after my first request here, I received an email from British Council that my payment is overdue, this is coming 4 days after making payment.

I have sent them a mail though. Anyone experienced same?

Thank you much

Ur own case might be different from mine . So i have a letter from the court stating i am a single mother, her dad signed from IMM 5604 for non accompanying parents, which i just raised a CSE to include this morning and i also included a hand written letter of consent to process her migration to canada in my application before guy man go say e he no write am.
