The test no be small thing brother grin It wasn't difficult but one needs to be out of this world to complete it within the time frame
But @knostbrown01 gave a clue on how to complete the test within the time frame. Did you not apply his "margic formula"?

SHL is easier than GMAT bro.

SHL follows a particular pattern, but GMAT is random.

If this was SHL, it would have been better.
These test formats have different difficulty levels. I have a wicked material on SHL, it should take you approximately 3 minutes to understand the question, then another 2 minutes to solve (that's if you are fast!)

For me, its GMAT over SHL anytime anyday

I have done it.. all I can say/do is cry cry cry Goodluck to the lot of you that r yet to do it. You need to be as fast as flash and as intelligent as Einstein to answer those questions given the timeframe.
So long as it isn't SHL... I just detest SHL numerical reasoning sad

Using smartphone is not advisable. But if no other option, you can use it.

BUT MAKE SURE YOU DON'T USE OPERA MINI OR UCWEB!

It was stated in the mail that "The Numerical Reasoning test MUST be completed latest by 12:00 am (Midnight) on Monday 8 June, 2015".

It is well known that 12:00am marks the beginning of a new day; so logically, 12am on Monday should be tonight.
However, realistically, EY knows there will be some stumbling block with candidates writing the test on a Sunday (e.g closed cafe). So one might assume that they actually meant tomorrow midnight.

But still, I won't take chances hoping it will end tomorrow. It's wise to just write it today just to be on the safe side.

Success

These people are sending numerical links and are yet to address the issue with the verbal.. like WTH...So is it that the process continues without any intervention. The least I would expect is an e-mail talking about the issue and the further actions to be taken instead along side the numerical link. Or maybe they will just lower the cut off mark or use just numerical test for assessment or something cause I am really not sure....
Relax beautiful... Most times, the issue is looked into after shortlist. Those candidates with complaints will be asked to re-write the test and their names released as second batch!
Realistically, you don't expect EY to respond individually to everyone that sent in complaints considering the large number that might be involved, do you?

I know its dumb to ask, but if one did not click submit, does it mean that the test was not submitted? i am kinda worried cus i did not submit not to talk of getting a congratulatory message.
No. Even if you don't hit the submit button or you are still on the questions and the time elapses, the portal should automatically submit your answered questions to the server. Well unless, whoever designed that test portal for EY was so dumb not to include that functionality

I didn't say I won't write it. I only said it no longer interests me. There's a difference, no?
No. The fact that it doesn't interest you no more and that you could just be wasting your time, can also translate into meaning you could just not write it anymore

I completed the test and got this message 'congratulations, you have successfully completed this section etc'. Anyone had similar experience? I also clicked start and it was hanging for a sec and i kept clicking it and it skipped 4 questions with no answers from my part. I did 21 out of 25 and after 10mins i think the timer kept on counting down with a minus. I also lost connection for like 6-mins and the timer kept on counting.
It's well

First of all, I want to thank God for everyone that successfully wrote the test.

Secondly, In my opinion, I think an unstable network must have been the logical reason for issues that came up. I say this because while writing the test, the page froze for a while when I clicked next. When I noticed that I could be logged out, I quickly started the "PING" command which forced the connection to pick up. Moreover, the issue could also be as a result of heavy traffic on the server; that is why writing all these tests in the midnight is advisable.
All the same, I seriously pray EY does something about this so no one feels cheated.

Thirdly, without being told we should know that posting our Emails on a public forum is harmful let alone posting a company's official email. Let's try and wisen up pls.

Wishing everyone success as we embark on the Numerical test today.

There is notin like bin greedy or stingy cos I don't see it as part of d game u don't need to be greedy or stingy remember it has its consequences . If u have any useful information to share to d house( I don't mean the test question) y not share it what is the need or gain of keeping the information to yourself or was is it not someone dat gave u d information. WHO EVER IS DESTINED TO WORK IN EY WILL WORK IN EY no matter d information received or not cos is only GOD that can bless our effort with success
I wonder what other information you want to be shared. As already stated, it comprises Antonyms, Synonyms, sentence correction, 25 questions, 10 minutes, obviously GMAT, test expires noon tomorrow, get a dicko handy.... is there anything else that hasn't been said?

And it's about time we do away with the phrase "WHO EVER IS DESTINED TO WORK IN EY WILL WORK IN EY"... you are responsible for your destiny and can shape it however you deem fit!

For those that do not have a handy computer or cannot locate a cafe, I think you can use your phone.

But pls, note that the phone must be a smartphone; not a Java or symbian phone. I have not experimented with a BlackBerry device so I can't conclude for sure if a BB will be effective in this regard. An Android device or iphone should be okay.
Also please don't use Opera mini or UCWeb browser, it might just constitute a total waste of time. Instead use Google Chrome or other higher browsers.

Success!

Hmmm dis thread is officially the worst thread ever. unless maybe people here change. Accusation, stinginess, greed and desire to outwit others.
What then is the essence of preparing for the test if not to outwit others? Being greedy and stingy is very well part of the whole exercise; ofcourse you don't expect a person to reveal the questions to others, do you?

Some persons have gone ahead to say that the questions are in antonyms, synonyms and error detection format; I think that is enough information!
