I am an undergraduate studying Mathematics but i really want to learn a skill which is programming during this Lockdown.
Because during my year 1 we were taught Visual basic but they didn't went deep in details.
Now i am offering a csc course which is C++ but i really need data to download the programs.
Just C++ tutorials from YouTube is 500MB
Python language is 900MB
But the problem is i don't even have data to download them and learn.
And i have offers from MTN 20GB for #3500
9GB for #2000.
Pls i am pleading if anyone can help me with cash, i don't want to waste my time at home without learning this programming languages.
I really want to be a programmer as time goes on..
Pls help me with an amount so that i can subscribe and get to start learning from the tutorial videos most especially the ones from Udemy.

But to reiterate on it, the book showed the AI to indicate what was entered through the input statement. Like you were told, replicate how it is exactly in the book if you want to enter an input.

Secondly, you dont necessary have to put the string "locust" in a tuple. Just saying my name = "Locust" without the parentheses is enough

Based on symptom you described, if it was Peugeot, I wouldn't bother much with scan, for it may help in a case like this (not saying scanning shouldn't be done). Physical elimination or rule out will be my be focus by checking:

- Vacuum leak.

- Engine wiring connections.

- CTS.

- Cylinder reference sensor or synchronization with CKP sensor (Timing).

- Condition of Injection ECU.

Something is making ECU to lean out or inject excess fuel in combustion chambers at high engine temperature, which is why it starts at cold temperature, but hard/non start at high. Ruling out the listed above will narrow the culprit (even though it could be elsewhere)

Since, you know nothing about cars, it's not something mere scan tool or guess work will detect. That car needs someone that understands how Toyota injection systems work to physically diagnose the car beyond scan tool. I am not that person. Find him or her. And stop wasting your time online trying to find opinions that could waste more money for you.


For those suggesting fuel pump/fuel pressure could be the issue, an EFI car engine that can run for hours without stalling but refuses to start immediately has nothing to do with fuel pressure or pump. For those suggesting starter issue, the symptom described didn't indicate crank issue at hot engine temperature. As for immobilizer suggestion, I have never seen immobilizer that chooses to activate only when engine is hot when faulty, as if it works with engine coolant and oil temperatures. To understand how modern car systems work, focus or spend more time on practical on Vehicles than online opinions. In some cases, they are two different worlds.

Hi Carlanders. Straight to the point I got a 2006 Audi A4 February just to celebrate something its a 2.0 quattro double exhaust. And the next day I drove the car to ekiti with the plan to take off back to the north the day after. Immediately I got home that day I started the car again and it didnt start immediately. After matching the accelerator it started and I tot its the stress bringing it in from a long journey and again I drive really really fast like crazy. Next day around 6am I wanted to take off back to my base in kaduna and immediately i started it, it started giving over heating alarm. After thorough checking I realised the water was leaking. So I had to delay my journey till I can see a mechanic n after seeing him he said I should put stoppage fluid or something. It blocks every hole Was what he called the work. I paid him 5k and he did it and the stuff didnt stop. I could not risk the car to kaduna so I was looking for alternative. Later on the mechanic said I will change the water collector that it was the culprit and he collected another 15k. Well he said the water collector didnt work with it bla bla bla so this time I decided to buy another 2013 matrix till the car will be in perfect shape. I went back to Kaduna with the Matrix and few days afterwards I sent 20k to the mechanic to get a new water collector and fix the Audi. He did after a week and called its in good shape. On getting back to ekiti I realised he connected the cooling fan and the AC together so if I dnt use the AC the cooling fan won't work and before it will pick I need to match the gas. Well I left for Kaduna the next day and I used less than 7hours. I met someone who uses the kind of car and he said his mechanic is In akure that the guy is perfect and once and for all I decided to fix the car so I did a video call with the man and after we spoke I took the car down ending of February. Though I just wanted to sell the car but it was my childhood crush and have spent a lot on it. Finally the guy said his going to buy some stuffs and redo the wiring my mechanic and rewire did and I also complained about the fuel consumption and he did he will buy one sensor everything 35k and workmanship 20. Everything sha 50k. I paid and the car was perfect last 2 week I started experiencing some major issues with it along zaria road I parked at jaji to greet a colleague and I realised the neck of the car or should I say steering locked. I used the key all to no avail and after like 1hr it worked on its own. It repeated this twice or more wasting my time etc. Thats my dilemma rn. Please can anyone help with this issue.

Hello Guys,

A big congratulations to all those who were privileged to be awarded this 'Life-Changing' scholarship.
For those who did not, it doesn't mean that you guys are bad enough... Never stop aiming for success.

Now, back to the matter.
From the outset of this scholarship, I advised Masters Students to start sourcing for admissions, and PhD students to start looking for Supervisors. This is because I know for sure that most institutions in France and Germany closes M1 application by May. Some heeded and went for it, some didn't. For those who already have admissions (MSc) and Supervisors (PhD), another congratulations.

The truth is that majority of institutions have actually shut admission process. However, all hope is not lost.
Irrespective of your choice of institution during application, you should search wide for all institutions in France and Germany... Some schools still have admissions open until July. PhD students should intensify efforts in searching for supervisors before mid July.. There will be a long vacation from the end of July to September, so no potential supervisor will listen to you until they resume (Europeans do not joke with Holidays).

I do not really think that UK students will have much trouble with admission though... I think.

On a final note, PTDF already have agreement with France and DAAD.. so there is still a small slot reserved for Masters admission, but do not bank on this. Do what you have to do on your own. PhD students, if you cannot secure a supervisor then nothing for you. No one will help you do that.

I contacted the PTDF Help Desk earlier but the personnel that responded said he doesn't know.

While Senator can be considered "Formal", you probably don't want to look different on the day. Besides you cannot tell for sure how the panelists would react to it; I am sure you don't want to paint any disadvantageous impression upon entering the interview room.

The only advise i can give is to wear a corporate wear; and if you can get a suit, better.

I'm gonna have to agree with you. While making research on ptdf I stumbled upon the platform of previous years and was able to get enough interesting details. This wouldn't have been possible if they had left this wonderful platform to create and discuss on a WhatsApp group..I suggest we table all questions and answers here as they will really be of help to others especially sets after us...let's be problem solvers cheers*

Don't bother yourself about that.
From experience, they will all still end up coming to Nairaland for information when they realise how bereft of any sort of information they have in their group.
Secondly, after the inteview, more than 3/4 of those in the group might not even make it to the final shortlisting stage. So joining the group would have been a waste of valuable phone memory space.

Everyone is an Adult, you cannot control what they do choose or don't choose to do.... Just do what you think is proper.

this is completely false, last year transcript wasnt requested at the stage of application nor was it requested for during interview. It was only adviced that you have it at hand, pending if you get beyond interview stage.

There is this lady at work, she works for the client and i work for the contractor. She has a nigga friend who is my padi and he has been talking to me about her, after so much persuasion, i said fùck it and gave it a shot.

Really she was so receptive than i envisaged and since then we've been casually saying hi and stuff.
On saturday i called her and asked about her weekend, she told me she wasnt doing anything, i suggested we meet on sunday(ytd). She said she wud call me wenever she's back from church.
She called around 5pm, i dressed up, all my clothes were creased so bad so i had to borrow a niggas Tshirt, pocketed 2k cus i am cheap and i live cheap, so i cant spend more than 2k on a date.

I got to d venue, she was waiting already, she was putting on a gown revealing some cleavage which was a very nice sight but really unlike her as she always dress modest to work.
Long story short, i ordered for drinks, all was 1400 naira, which was within budget, d 100 naira change will be for my TP and i will give d maruwa guy 500 for her own TP to give her d remaining change. Everything was going according to plan, things were going fine , what a good time to be alive. Suddenly she said she feels like chewing sth.
I initially made as if i didnt hear what she said, she said it again and i interjected with "NOPE, CHEWING IS BAD FOR TEETH" She laffed and beckoned on the waiter to come over. In shock i yelled wait wait, i brought out the whole of 1500, dropped it on the table and told her this all i have with me, already she knows there is 1400 payment to be made.

She didnt give a shìt, she called the guy, brought 2 plates of meat, i was just feeling awkward watching how the whole shìt wud play out. At last she brought out her purse, gave d guy some money, i picked the 1500, gave it to the waiter but he returned the money, said the money she gave him is complete.
Seriously i was ashamed of myself, i wanted to talk about it but i decided to let it slide so as not to overflogg the issue.
Later we were done and i saw her off, i gave d driver 500 for her TP. Some hrs later i saw 3missed calls from her, i texted her back and she responded with... see you tmao. While i dont know wht that means but i know she is gonna tell everybody at work about what happened, about how i am a stingy pig. But i aint stingy, i just priotize things i spend money on.
Today i told my niggas what happened, i have only two niggas, but neither i nor any of them has heard about the parol from another source. But then i am sure that if words get around, my reputation = Ruined

It is good to be quite sincere in one's dealings and it is also great to live within one's means.

" Now how will you call someone, suggested the person meets you, and you assumed that the person you called to meet you also lives cheap and prioritize spending? I mean, you willingly offered to take a person, you were not coerced into it whatsoever, and you still subject the person to your desires because that is just what you want? That is selfish of you bro.

Things to take out of this event:
1. Do not make assumptions for other people and dont presume you can bend a person to your desires.
2. Do not start what you clearly cant finish
3. 2k is never enough to plan outings in Nigeria... She could call you stingy, and rightly so.
4. She is a good friend; any other lady might have publicly disgraced you.

One mistake you made though.... you should have given her the 1500 for transport to pay for herself, and not directly paying the driver. That act probably might have redeemed you from what transpired earlier and less likely solidify her thoughts about you as being stingy and selfish.
And No, that doesn't mean you cannot eventually date her in the future... You might be surprised she held nothing against you.

We learn everyday, I am sure you must have learnt something from what happened to you!

They only have a funding agreement, PTDF cannot overwrite the decision of the academic board of these schools, nor can they extend deadlines and the likes

Alongside funding, PTDF actually has an agreement with DAAD and Campus France on the number of students permissible into German and French schools respectively.
However, like i earlier stated, PTDF does not have the power to alter an institution's admission requirements. meaning if you do not meet up to the admission requirements of a university and/or if admission processes commences late, you will not be admitted even if you have the scholarship.

For PhD students into Germany and France, as soon as you are done with the interview and probably confident of getting the award, i encourage you to start looking for a supervisor in your choice institution immediately.
