We have three levels in the traditional institution in Ibadan. We have the Olubadan, his high chiefs and the Baales. These are the three levels we have. So, no other person can force himself to be royal highness without falling into any of the three levels.””So, the heads of clubs, associations and so on fall under the Baale in that domain. The Eze Ndigbo falls under the Baale of Ekotedo. Anything they have to do,they cannot come directly to the Kabiyesi, they have to go through the Baale, who reports to the Olubadan or the Olubadan-in-Council.”The council reiterated its earlier decision that it would not regard holders of titles as chiefs in Ibadanland.“We are not bordered about whatever title they are called. Theyare not our royal highness and they are not our Baale. We don’t recognise them.”

Social media is the no1 relationship crasher we have in this generation. Sometimes I wonder how our parents celebrate 40yrs in marriage and our marriages these days rarely last 10yrs.

The funny thing is that these things are actually very true. We Nigerians don't encourage our own and we expect the outside world to do it for us. We don't value ourselves and we think the outside world will. We place so much importance on designer brands and neglect the place of price sanity. I pray we wake up very soon

When these people "regardless of their geopolitical affiliation" embezzle our common wealth, they don't remember you and I, rather they give their children the best of life outside the Shores of the country they are bent on destroying, then when they are caught, they gather hungry and jobless youths, pay them stipends then they end up carrying placards and making illegal protests with chants of free our son, he is our brother, witch-hunt etc...
