This is not a matter of APC or PDP neither is a matter of buhari or jonathan,but the progress of our nation. Funding a bridge like 2NB involves huge capital investment. Sourcing and funding such investment can be done by
i. The state(country) alone if they have the capital
ii. Through ppp(private public partnership) scheme
iii. And Through loan.
Gej lead administration adopted the second which is ppp, it takes a long time and some bureaucratic bottleneck to accomplish that. In ppp the govt and private sector has some quota they have to invest and in this case FG is committed to contribute 28% and private investors 72% under a 25 years concession. A huge amount of 10billion was committee by GEJ administration, meaning that GEJ was the only one that started the actual work on the bridge hence history of the bridge cannot be written without him.

This is the most disgraceful thing among us nigerians. How do we forget so quickly that govt is continuous? you spew nonsense because of your ignorance and hatred. Apart from security reasons, Nigeria has radioactive minerals which can power atomic processes eg power stations and bombs. President Buhari isnt clueless n understands the economic and security implications of participating in a very important global discussion like the alternative energy from Nuclear sources ,viz-a-viz global terrorism issues. Thanks my brother from another mother. Honestly, the south East needs to build more bridges. Be tactical while planing their politics. And never put ALL their EGGS in one basket. There should always be plan B. I see South Eastern produces president in 2023 because most Nigerians believe it's long overdue. However, This depends on how they play their politics come 2019.

Well, i see no reason bringing GEJ or T. A. Orji into this. Gej 6 years saw a much tolerance and peace among the citizens in nigeria unlike what is/was obtainable from other. Also i see no reason turning T. A. Orji's obnoxious policy which affects all nigerians into igbo nonsense. He retrenched non-Abians, which include all other nigerians not only igbos. Fairness in the distribution, excution and implementation of any federal project. Fairness in policy excutions, fairness in all other things that have skewed nigeria towards its failures and un-progressiveness.
some people may call for new federalism but i think it is a tall order in nigeria today, hence there are ways some of the flaws in the state can be solved.

I believe PDP that they supported almost 98% in 2015 will have a rethink about their quest for Northern presidential candidate in 2019 and give them the sloth. Honestly I believe in equality and support the idea that South East produces President by 2019. I understand your concern about some affairs related to the igbos in the country.Igbos maynot be waiting for the fed govt to develop some certain sectors of its economy but they call for fairness of all stakeholders in the country which is lacking. Unlike what you said earlier, we are not oppressed but we are seen as enemy. Every move in nigeria equates to Nigeria vs igbos. It creates some phobia within the citizens and the nation.

I know the igbo population and I know their strenght. I schooled in Anabra state for 5 years. They mostly make me laugh and very industrous. I believe the people are very under ratted. You need to begin to build your city. I think that is what is important now. It is obvious now that our govt is useless and have absolutely no use. Igbo have staked alot for one nigeria with little returns for it. A new philosophy was born which is "Invest home". Thanks to obi of onitsha we pioneered this call. Our cities are been built, our local economy are been strenghtened and our unity, importance and relivance renewed. Like i often tell my brothers, we must maintain our unity and shelve this idea of presidency at moment, we should play a strong regional politics in the two regions we have stronghold... We also have to form a new reliable friend(middle belt).

Nice write up. It is so painful when i wake up every morning to see nigeria going from worse to worst. The little time i thought nigeria was going forward, some self acclaimed messiah with so many promises came and returned the hand of clock to the bad old days. probabily. I am not against debts but i hate over indebtedness by some of the governor. Argueably, one can say obiano " is investing those debt into sustainable develop". The investment drawn into the state needs some state financial support which sometimes may lead the state a borrowing.

@cuche, this is yet another massive bridge under construction across Anambra river to the oil facilities, Gas Power station and agricultural belt. The truth is that Anambra is the fastest developing state presently in Nigeria because it is a state-wide infrastructural development. Not like in some other states.
