Cuche: Obiano is doing well and very soon the State will not be relying on Fed Allocation, however, only Ugu can't be cultivated and sold to generate $5 billion. It is not possible even if the whole of Anambra becomes a farmland for Ugu and the world consumes only made in Anambra Ugu. Not even rice can cultivated in Anambra can generate that per annum. I will really like to know how they arrived at that projection. did you read the article at all. Was ugu the only the you read? |

gabicon: I applaud the initiative, I just feel the numbers don't add up, $5billion with pumpkin leaves as the major cash crop doesn't make much sense. How many people or companies in the world consume or use pumkin leaves as raw material? Or better still who is the targeted market? If it were cassava as a major cash crop I would have believed it since it can be used to get starch and even alcohol. Good initiative by his Excellency at least he is doing something irrespective of if the numbers add up or not. the deal is expected...$5 billion does not mean it is already five billion now. It is expected to grow upto that. Not because of anambra alone but other states. Guy to be serious am very much ashamed of some nigerians |

Flyoruboy: Smh. My goodness gracious. You obviously think you are dealing with Alaba marketers coz you are not clever at all Mr. An indigenous company appoints a CEO of a foreign background and you are here displaying your ignorance. Ownership of a company is not determined by the CEO boy. A corporate entity's ownership is determined by who the founder is an his stake in the amount of shares. The board can fire and replace the CEO any day. Only a founder with controlling shares of 51% can remotely boast of ownership. Ifeanyi Uba's capital oil is in receivership coz he obviously lost control of the company he founded owing to debt financing and stuff. Unless you can prove that Tunji didn't found GZI and that he doesn't have controlling shares you have no right to tell me he doesn't own the company. Na bad belle dey worry you. Before i started discussion with you i believed you most be a learned who will do more research on the company in question not throwing tantrum. Read about the managerial team of the company then come we will argue not this tantrum of self acclaimed intelligence |

Flyoruboy: You see, this is why you folks from your region will always remain fraudsters and will never be taken serious. You went from claiming the company is owned by foreign investors but managed by a Nigerian to listing the owners which 'group of foreign investors' are merely a component part of, to absolutely and mischievously excluding the Nigerian investors on the list. Word of advice: you are embarrassing your tribe as a bunch of immature and hopelessly bitter lot, all in your failed attempt to show a superiority that only exists in your infantile minds. You lots said gzi is owned by a yoruba man right? And in clear terms i disproved it. I have given you their official web where it was stated clearly that it is not owned by yoruba man. I also told you companies like globalcom and honeywell are the ones founded and own by yoruba. Or do you jst like insulting people because you can talk. Gzi is not owned by yoruba. The ceo is not a nigeria but the md is a yoruba simple or do you have any other problem? Next is skybank. I will be taking it one by one and at the same time giving you links pls be reading the links thank you |

Flyoruboy: Why don't you quote where it says that? You can't because you put your spin on it to mean what you want it to, which is a typical igbo trait. You all will shift goal posts/switch standards/even insert words that don't exist whenever you're exposed for the fraudulent species that you are. The Chairman of the Company is a Yorubaman. If you don't like that, go and .... I know you are intelligent enough pls read this at least the first two paragraph http://www.gzican.com/company-overview/ you will see where it is stated that it is owned by a group of foreign investors, verod capital management and standard chartered... |

Flyoruboy: I'm sorry but you're daft. How can an 'indigenous' company be 'owned' by foreign investors? That is an oxymoron dude. You people chose to redefine definitions and shift goal posts after you've been embarrassed by facts. You must be a product of those WAEC expo centers. Smh one thing with you guys is you like to think too much of your intelligence. Read the official web first you will see that it is not owned by indigens but it is managed by a yoruba man who can be changed. I hate crude insult remove the insult lets talk. I think globacom and honeywell is the some of the yoruba companies |

eyeview: Apart from Lagos and a few Ogun towns that border Lagos, the rest are still rustic and rural in setting. Ibadan which started out well, somehow entered on a reverse mode. Objectively,on a regional level and even spread,I give it to south-south. A region that has Ph,Asaba,Warri,Yenagoa,Uyo,Benin city,Calabar,Ikot Ekpene, ughelli etc. Most state capitals in the south west don't come close to these towns. Op,Let's be broad in our reasoning i will give it to south east a region with enugu, aba, onitcha, awka, umuahia, owerri and abakaliki. Others like orlu,okigwe,nnewi,ohafia... Can give a capital city in south west a run for their money. |

DiademSh07: LOL! Are you arguing against what the whites wrote about their encounter with the ibos? Secondly, are you refuting the well Known fact that Jaja was sold as a slave? What about the kwashiorkor menace and cannibalism in ibo land during the civil war? you are clearly a liar. The white men misunderstood the igbo's at the onset but letter came to realize that there is a form of government where everyone has equal right. Will you also argue that?. Most west africans sold their people to slaves including yoruba so wats you problem with the igbos? Besides igbos has very minimal intra-tribal because the believe in dialoge. War have been their last resort |

DiademSh07: LOL! Ibos were the only tribe that has no contact with each other. But rather lived in scattered hamlets where they were found naked and seen to dance around pot of boiling human meat, not to mention selling their fellow brothers as slaves! Case study is Jaja of Opobo! The coming of the Whites is the best thing to have ever happened to you cannibalistic cave men! No wonder they couldn't feed themselves and resorted to cannibalism during the civil war! Kwashiorkor! Hian! who dey tell you all these things? Abeg go tell say make in no tell you again. |

I know they re happy that this ignorant man spoke out of ignorance it is shameful that people in lagos prefer pull down syndrome. When i was telling some one that the largest scrap recycling steel factory in west africa is in aba, he started calling names out of ignorance. To them If something is found outside sw it fake/fraud. Example Companies like naya (a subsidiary of slok group) have been exporting iron ingot for some years now but ignorant people don't know. Hongxing steel has their largest scrap recycling plant in aba but most of them don't know. The largest nigeria brewery plant is in enugu. Most companies that wants to survive are now moving east but most of them don't know. All the will ask you is where is their head quarters? But will be quick to forget that companies like hongxing has their head quarters in lagos but largest factory in se. This is same with nigeria brewerys, pepsi, coca cola etc. |
