my dad smokes cigarette, growing up i was teased by other kids cus whenever we are playing ball he will call me to get him St Moritz lol I can't forget that brand.
i promised myself that I won't smoke so my kids don't go through what i went through but the irony of it all is that, all my friends that were teasing me back then are chain smokers now both cigarette n marijuana, i just look at them and laugh.

I disagree, if we consider the after effect of both you will find out that marijuana is worse and that's why it is banned from any sporting event cus it is considered as a form of enhancement for athletes.
in terms of odour, marijuana leaves a lasting foul smell in one's body compared to cigarette, why d you think in some bar, restaurant and hotel, they don't allow people to smoke marijuana but they allow cigarette.

Lol, what do they smoke? Because to my understanding, taking a smoke break, calms people down. Almost the same effect caffeine has on some people. The only time I've seen someone become really irritable, is when they were trying to quit smoking. Heard it does a number on you psychologically for a couple of days at least. But other than that, I can't say the smokers I've known were bad people. They were just like everyone else going by the complaints I've heard from my friends about their non-smoking boyfriends. Same script, different cast, whether smoker or non-smoker.

marijuana obviously is what am talking about, if you read my comment you will see where i made mention of abusing it.

for instance, am not the everyday drinker but i drink only on occasions or when my friends are around

over the weekend i went for a wedding, i swear the drinks there could be likened to the time Christ turned water to wine, there was this man on my table who kept ordering drinks for me n him, after I reached my limit i still went ahead n took two more cus of the man n i didn't want to feel weak but i tell u, it was crazy a hell for me whn i got home..

i ended up throwing up, n missed a very important appointment that day, same goes to smokers who abuse it, sometimes it won't be your making but the pressure from friends n yiu go beyond your limit and start being violent till the effect subsides. that's the negative effect of drugs, alcohol and smokes which makes all irresponsible including me.

i saw a comment of yours about your ex's being smokers..i just want to input something, i have lots of close friends that smoke but i can tell you this, most of them abuse it and if they r in a good mood it will enhance it but if is a bad mood it makes it worse..

i won't say smoking or not is a criteria for lasting relationship, but it plays a key role in most decision making and attitude shown to the opposite sex.
