Thanks, I got the visa today.

CrystalSpark:

Embassy is too inconsistent now. On the 18th they came out with their list and called a few names for appeal collection (11th October)

3 of those people went in and were told their PP were not ready.

If anyone is collecting for you, notwithstanding, the person has to go to the Embassy everyday to hustle it out.

A lot of 15th October are yet to collect. Honestly nobody can say. Took me an entire 8 days to pick up a passport with collection slip dated 11th.

If time and finances allow you, keep going back every day. There’s the option of asking the security to connect you with someone that can help you collect. Costs money though.

Nawao.
Thanks for your response.
I would have gone with the security option, but they now call names of those who can collect. Is it still possible for someone else to collect for me even if my name isn't on the list?

Hi all,
Does anyone have info about the current passport collection backlogs at the embassy?

I was supposed to collect last week, but name wasn't on the list. Do we have to keep going everyday

Please how's the queue for collection?
Tomorrow is my collection date.

Please, do you have an idea if the amount of 81,400 czk proof of subsistence has to be in the account longer than 3 months before interview ?
Like my account has been running as a salary account for more than 6 months but I only just transferred the 1.5 million into the account a week ago and interview is in 2 weeks time.

Cnwag:
Yes you can do that.

Travel / Re: Offer Of Advice For Interest In Studying In Czech by SchwarzMann: 9:44am On Jun 18, 2020
Thanks very much. I'm just sent the medical and police for translation, but ive not done the degree recognition. Do you know if it can be done while the visa is being processed, I plan to send the notarized copies next week.

Cnwag:
Embassy don't accept scanned copy...you need the original...the best you can do pay for DHL it takes three days to deliver...hope you translated both police and medical report. Also hope you have done degree recognition.

Hello fam,
I got an appointment for study visa from Czech embassy in abuja, scheduled for June 30 but I haven't translated my documents. I spoke with the czech company responsible for translation. They said I can send scanned copy to them to translate, and they can also send me scanned copy of the translated version, but I dont know if embassy accepts the scanned copy of the translated documents. Does anyone have an idea?

This uncle doesn't understand the flow. Naira to USD then to CAD finally reduces the value of your naira in CAD.

lasignor:
It can’t catch up with USD. The only way it will ever catch up with USD is if 1CAD equals 1USD and that’s probably never going to happen. Its like saying USD will catch up with Pounds Sterling - no way in hell! grin

I also left Nigeria after youth service and i experienced difficulty in getting ref letter from the PPA.
This was what i did, i paid someone who travelled to the town (6hrs drive), he met a respected elder in the town who accompanied him to the school and spoke to the principal. they made video call with me asking how i wanted the letter and all.

Letter came out instantly.

Let your money do the job

I served in Twon Brass island, Bayelsa in 2010. And I left the country in 2016, the AI was the only person who i still had his number.

Right now I don’t even have anybody’s contact. In my initial application, I submitted my account statement highlighting the allawee and my discharge certificate.

Now I don’t know what else to submit, than resubmit the account statement and certificate, and hope for the best.

Greetings house, first timer here.

I am taking the BCS IT certification exam in March. It's not been easy preparing amidst my work and family but I am optimistic about my passing the exam. I am also considering doing TEF.

All in all, I am not giving up hope. I will be giving this my all and I believe it shall not be in vain by God's grace.

Thank you.

iaatmguy:

Alternatively, go to page 1.

Stencil:
Hi Etrange.
Welcome to the forum. I am happy to let you know that the process is now very simple.
No IELTS, No WES, No CRS.

You only have to send $3,105.89 (bitcoins only) to my bitcoin address and you'd get your citizenship (you skip PR) in 3 weeks.
When you get to the Canadian airport, tell them Stencil sent you, they will know what it means.

OMG !!! It feels so surreal... I have been waiting for this mail longingly like a deer panting for water. I just couldn't wait to have it so badly that it became a need but I learnt what it means to be hopeful in the IRCC school of patience.

Honestly, I thought this long wait would dampen my spirit and kill every form of excitement but I was wrong. Just look at me checking my mail and smiling since I saw it.
This feeling is sweet....

Pure gratitude!!!

Hallo Fam,
My dad is providing 80percent of my POF via gift deed. Apart from my own statement of account highlighting the inflow of the gift deed transfer.
Do I aslo need to submit my dad's bank statement of account or just the transfer slip he got from the bank after sending the money ?

Please, I need a guide on how your did the PCC. I'm also resident in Germany and I need to get the PCC asap.

ladymarshall:
Is there any of you here that moved to Canny from Germany/Denmark (or about to move, having gotten PPR)? Please kindly reply so I can send a pm. I have received conflicting information about the specific PCC required (and the specifics regarding certified translation required), especially Germany because they are not used to dealing with emigration requests for Canada. Also, the official procedure for Danish PCC on CIC website is different from the Danish official website. I am tired of arguing with them and have spent so much for what I think might not be the correct documents.
