Flosmythbert: I have just been appointed as a Senior Legislative Aide on GL 14 at the National Assembly with a nice salary and several opportunities while still waiting for APL. I have accepted the appointment but I'm confused about what to do should APL come. Should I remain in national assembly and network upwards or move to NNPC. I am very optimistic and full of faith that we will be successful in the quest for APL.
I don't think legislative aide thing is career enhancing. In fact no Pension. Depends on how you play ya card in the corridor of power. If you can connect well then stay but if not move as soon as APL show
A brother testified that before he went for an interview, he prayed to God for favour. On getting to the company, he saw his maternal relation. They were happy to see eachother, the uncle happened to be one of the heads of departments. The relation assured him that the job was his, and whoa! he got the job.
My question now is, why do we frown when we here things like presidential slots, minsters' slots, 'Who do you know?' ' Do you have connection?'
Are there righteous and sinful connections? sorry if I dey derail
I had done them an email before but no response. I sent to recruitment feedback email addy and copied hr and finance. Hr@nnpcgroup.cim finance@nnpcgroup.com
dharniehl: Have you done them a mail before? If yes, what email did you send it to and did they respond? What was their response?
And to be honest, recent developments in my career pushed this NNPC thing further down in my priority. At this point, under no circumstances will I take the job so no point bothering friends for info.
BenFlash: Please I am trying to get you based on this your logic, so if one scored more than 70% but submitted after 45mins, he stilled failed?
If your answer to the above is in the affirmative, then it is incorrect because I carefully reviewed all my answers until the last minute before I submitted. Guess what? I was called for interview.
The above goes to show that you just make up assumptions and spill, it is very unhealthy.
I don't know why some people are using us to test their IQ. Stop confusing people they wouldn't listen. Smh
Macgyver1: Lols I said 10 and 12 wasn't sure what the represented... Cuz in that dream I saw myself writing the date in a book for successful candidates.
Personally I like to think it is October 12 or December 10.
Cavalier: Ladies and Gentlemen,I have read through your posts with keen interest. The insults and the bashing of people with sources and those without as to which info is credible is funny and ridiculous. I just want to help a little bit with information that is available to me to help those in dire need of it. I am a Managerial candidate and so I wasn't interviewed with most of you here. Last week Thursday after the Presidential broadcast, the Minister of Petroleum ordered the NNPC Recruitment list as it was to be published. It was to be published in PUNCH newspaper. There was pandemonium in Abuja as all the politicians and new management who have been lobbying for name replacements since Kyari took over would've been left without their candidates being put in the list.Even the Minister of Labour went to protest that the composition of the list didn't show Federal character as it was lopsided towards the West and not evenly spread. He was then educated that while Federal character may have a role in the invitation for interviews, only competence and merit are considered after passing the interview. He soft-pedalled but the other powerful politicians made so much noise that the Minister suspended the order to publish on Thursday,3rd October 2019 and gave them 5 working days to sort whatever irregularities they claimed was in the list before he went to South Africa for his 3-day visit. He is back now and will expect their report before it gets published. If he stays true to his first order, then this list will likely be out in the national dailies before emails and texts are even sent out. I know kids of nowadays will complain about reading long write-ups. It is the bane of our country right now. No insults please,I could have stayed in my corner just to read and watch misinformation fly all around. At our managerial level of application, our channels of communication with the NNPC are quite different. You may choose to believe or not.Have a great week, my people.
Thank you boss. All I sense is your maturity and sincerity. I will encourage you to do more.
Loveprick: I heard similar stuff from my friend(She was told by her sugar that works for NNPC). She was also told that a group is not satisfied because some states are not equally represented and that was why the list has been moving up and down to FCC. The unsatisfied group is insisting that the list should be published in a national newspaper so that Nigerians will see the unequal treatment some states received irrespective of FCC while the satisfied group is against it. Please, this is the information my friend told me and it may be right or wrong. Good luck.
hafeezsemzy: No he does not lack integrity. He is not the HR of NNPC. It is your fault for believing him and then trying to fault him for it not coming true. It's a forum any body can say anything. Believe at your detriment.
I never believed him or her. It is still wrong to post lies with confidence. It seems we specialise is supporting what is wrong. Gone are those days when NL used to be a place for trustworthy info. Well keep supporting what is wrong. Enjoy the likes you get.
made4naijamusic: Symply Tacha was spotted in video kneeling down while receiving prayers and blessing from her grandma
AY Comedian Share the video of tacha
I am so enjoying @symply_tacha journey in trying to get better every day. This is a good time for her to surround herself with more of positive people.
For those who still feel offended by her actions during BBN should find away to forgive and encourage her. I believe forgiveness is the best form of love.
Inner peace can be reached only when we practice forgiveness. Forgiveness is letting go of the past. It is the means for correcting our misperceptions.
More importantly, It takes a strong person to say they're sorry and an even stronger person to forgive.
NuissancePolice: It is pointless because it is not great news or the news your itchy ears crave for abi? You sound as though I am happy with the current status quo. If only you knew how heartbroken I am.
who these funny guys flooding this thread na. Awon ni yi gan
NuissancePolice: First hand info: From my source who is close to the GMD, APL notifications were to be sent since the 11th of September but was deferred for a month due some new developments in administration, new evidence of slotting ghost-names, and the consequent legislative bottlenecks that followed. Apparently, the 9th of september and 4th of october guys heard rightly but sand had been poured into our garri.
He said that APL release is on hold for now based on the intensity of the legislative bottlenecks and the need to do a proper investigation. Some RMAFC goons are also in conflict with some members of the house who have very high interest in the recruitment but he could not tell me what the conflict was really about because they were just inferred speculations.
This problem is not only with NNPC, but has cascaded into other governmental recruitment processes like the Police, Customs and CBN (whose recruitment has been underground for a while).
My source concluded based on his perception of the current circumstances that the recruitment is unofficially on hold indefinately but will be officially made open to the public soon. We should forget about NNPC for now as it might either be cancelled or re-opened around maybe the first quarter of next year...say March/April depending on the outcome of the investigations.
Brace up guys.
Na your own gari sand go pour. which kind talk be that!!!
For those contemplating a protest, you are at liberty to. But, what is your premise? Some of the people that even saw there names in the 'leaked list' of successful applicants for the DPR 2016 recruitment but were not contacted are still there waiting to be called in some sort of second batch recruitment. In this case, nothing has been done that you can even prove.
Know this, in rebellion, the agitators are usually always the fall guys, even when the cause has been achieved. You may just be fighting for people who already know for sure they are getting in.
And oh, never make the mistake of thinking you are 'faceless', lol.
Some of us have been rebels in workplaces and other settings alike, e no dey pay like that.
Lets be patient and engage in other things, what will be will be!
naijatruth2019: Firstly, my elder sister's husband works with NNPC, my parent's neighbor was a very very top man in NNPC, though retired. Though my Source was different....
You guys may be hurt because of the thirst to get APL. I retire from talking even if I hear any news that looks first-hand or I get the deepest of information. Let's wait for GMD.
I truly was very confident of my Source, but I should have kept it though.
Sorry my people... Though APL won't take long, I won't say anything till you see it manifest raw.
Sorry ...
Hahahahaha....I know you must be proud of yourself. I knew you were trolling. But please NEVER use the name above any other to troll. Thank you
naijatruth2019: Anyone can say whatever they feel like. Doubt what you wanna doubt and believe what you wanna believe. I have said it and I have said it.
This is the last Source to take on nairaland. Give this last Source a chance and see.
I still repeat: APL will be released on or before 4 October, 2019.
This is like dangling a roasted and well garnished chicken lap before me, knowing fully well that I'm hungry. Thank you Ooooo.
