The best place to get information about EH is to always check your mail or phone, because the release of EH may be more silent. Even information as regards EH may not be released to people that much, unlike the GT. Just wait for the EH to be released soon.

For those GTs who didn't get any mail, waut for tommorow or wait for a call from the postal company. There was probably technical issues that made yours not reach you. Your mail was probably mistakenly skipped while being sent....Just wait!! it may never be over yet.

It is quite hard to believe this ugly but seemingly fair development. What could have gone wrong or what is it I didn't do right?

In reminiscence, there was no question asked me that I didn't adequately tackle. I got applaud from my panel and they specifically told me I had done well that I speak persuasively and fluently and I will be best fitted into the corporate communications Division of the Corporation.

They congratulated me but however cautioned me to pray hard that nothing happens to my name that the list was going to move to another committee set up to make final selection... What did that committee not find right in me that I was dropped?

Anyone with useful ideas on how this was done should kindly respond to a brother plz as am so devastated right now. Don't know how to break the news to my ageing mother yet...#Bitter Heart#

Ahhhhhhh.......Finally!! some decorum in this thread.

First of all, a hearty congratulations to the successful few here. I must say, i am quite impressed with the way a lot of individuals who were not successful are handling the situation maturely. Know this for a fact, it is never the end of the world. Where there is life, there is hope. And do know what your best friend would be now? TIME. It heals all wounds. A lot of seemingly brilliant minds here will go further and do a lot of exploits., this i know. With determination, hard work and prayers, you will look back at this thread some years from now and laugh saying 'Is this really the job i was so obsessed about' There are circa 20-30 companies in Nigeria that are miles better than NNPC in terms of pay, allowances, career growth et al. Heck some of you would even be great entrepreneurs that would partner with NNPC on major contracts in the future. So cheer up, life continues and someday this will all be part of a success story.

Like all job threads here on nairaland, less than 10% of the populace almost usually succeed until the end. I;d expect the same for the EHs. I know a lot of EHs are currently engaged and the disappointment on missing out may not be highly felt like the GTs. I wish the EHs recruitment comes to a positive conclusion and it is handled maturely the way the GTs did. Regardless of the outcome, life is beautiful and pleasant to those who see it as such. I hope someday, every sees it as such.

NNPC is a great organisation to build a career. Work life balance and job security are largely guaranteed. I advise that you maximize whatever opportunity lies ahead and focus less on the bottlenecks in the organization. Instead, add value and be an agent of positive change in the organization. I wish you the very best.

To those who will not get APL, I say congrats anyway. Greater opportunities lie ahead. Though it might be painful, don't be discouraged. See this as a stepping stone to a beautiful life and career.

Well, I would have liked it if you had completed the sentence. Stooped so low to do what? To tell Jarus that he could have done better?

I knew I was going to be against popular opinion since it concerns Jarus but let us face the fact:

1. Recall that localman @Gbriels got infuriated in September last year when @Jarus started giving us all the extra details about the "binding agreement" he had with his source which led to all kinds of PLEA for him to divulge what he knows , when he could have easily saved us the raucous by just saying there was no update in the first place.

2. This time around, he told us how he saw missed calls from his source since the previous day and was yet to call back for whatever reasons thereby generating another wave of PLEA for him to call his source. He could have just called the source and given the update about what has transpired without the in-between info.

In both cases, there was a wave of PLEAs. However, I chose not to consider it a petty behaviour like he ascribed but "slip ups" based on his reputation. I know he likes saying everything as it is (no filter) which I consider to be his weakness. No one is perfect.

As much as he is trying to help us with updates which I truly appreciate by the way, he needs to improve on his information dissemination skill as compared to the likes of Panalyst and co., make it direct to the point. No in-between stories (excess info) to make it intriguing.

Las Las, I respect and like Jarus, this is not to spite him like most of his fans would think hence calling for my head. A little bit of constructive criticism will not kill him.

I can't remember liking a post this much.I like truth and fact.Yes, I want APL to be out today sef...but let it come out in peace....There is a difference btw being negative and stating a fact.You just said the truth and I am very OK with it.February/March is not far again....And finally we now know that APL release is not being delayed bcoz of "one news "NNPC read on someone's blog.I really don't like it when people try to use people's head to play ball.

My rent expired in January, I was about renewing before I saw a post made here by one oga I respect so much. I have since told my landlord to exercise patience till this Friday, but to be sincere I don't know what NNPC is doing. After greeting my landlord these days he will always remind me "na this Friday oo"....... For my mind, I don enter one chance. What if nothing comes from NNPC till Friday? What if after I renew the rent and NNPC calls? My head just dey hot these days. Nnpc we need closure ooooo...

Most PhDs are generally very useless and mostly acquired for social status - nothing wrong with his though. I was offered an opportunity for full PhD scholarship earlier this year but I turned it down because the area did not interest me and it would not have really solved a problem.

I will only go for a PhD if in my daily interactions, I become curious to know more about a concept that could really make a scientific impact or if sponsored to do so based on a need. Definately not for the sake of acquiring it or prestige.

For the first time since this recruitment started, I dreamt about being at the NNPC tower. My guy who works with NLNG even came to pay me a courtesy visit to congratulate me.
