To me it's gonna be the same old story I tell you.... the new guy has been in NNPC since 1980, that is 32yrs in the system already so he knows all trhe under currents going on and I'm sure he'll not want to be the messiah because believe it or not... there are cabals right inside NNPC as well and once their channels are blocked, they are ready to kill and maim.

Rather than continue to rant and abuse ourselves here... I think what needs to be done here is to help this guy called Majek Fashek. We all know he's so so talented and there are no doubts or controversies over that. Let's thank God that he is still alive and in his senses (at least he's not gone stark raving mad). It is obvious that right from the onset, the lady in question was not even ready to perform any of the duties required of a woman in the house. Misplaced priorities I say. You are newly wedded, no kids or even pregnancies yet and you went and got a fully developed female as a maid... she already asked for the "assistant wife" na. If you cannot stay home to cook for your husband or clean the bed and vaccuum the house, if only on weekends sef, then you're asking for something else. I know a banker with kids that does all her cooking on weekends and put them in the fridge so as the husband and children get home before her, he just scoops and warms for everybody to eat. Some women are just lazy and not ready to put any efforts into making their marriages worth the while.

Those asking her to call the quits in the relationship are only pushing her into more mistakes because what is required here is not just moving on to the next available man, but looking at where she has failed in her duties as a wife and try to make amends. The best is to convince the girl to abort, but if she refuses to abort then let her (the maid) keep the child, since it's her choice to keep it. Return her to her people and make it abundantly clear to them that your husband has no intention of marrying a second wife, so if she wants to keep the child it's her choice. The man is not solely to be blamed here because I have seen house maids that vehemently refused their masters advances and even left the home due to sexual harrasments so both the male and the female have the blame here. The woman has to be strong here and re-affirm her authority as the wife of the house over the maid.

It's only by doing this that her husband can realise his mistakes and feel some remorse.. for now he'll still be telling himself that he did it because of this or that.... that's how we men are! Well I'm a Christian and dont believe Islam is a religion of War and Intolerance, because I have co-habited with muslims all my life and our relationships have been cordial as long as we give ourselves the mutual respect necessary for peaceful co-habitation. My guy try and read my post properly before crucifying me. I logged on my laptop and we all agree that even if NEPA takes the light, your laptop will still be on - as far as the battery is there. So what I did because I needed to go put on the gen for my family was that I logged out of my Internet connection and shut down my laptop. Then went to put on the gen, by the time I switched my laptop back on and connected back to the internet, the MTN thing was telling me that my 200MB has been used up in less than five minutes prior to the NEPA cutting power. I still maintain what I said that sometimes these people are ripping us off and there is no disputing that fact.

It's not enough to be talking here especially those of you living in Edo state. Begin to prepare for rigging because anybody that knows bamanga Tukur's antecedents will know that he's rigging personified. The reality here is that they bought these amounts of dollars from the CBN at the official exchange rate of the Naira to the Dollar at that period giving the CBN the impression that they want to use it for their business transactions which we all know is Oil and Gas. IT IS NOT THAT THEY OBTAINED A GRANT OR EVEN A LOAN FROM THE CBN OR FED GOVT OF NIGERIA. IT IS STILL THEIR OWN MONEY.

Investigating this act will be an absolute waste of time because they - the companies will point you to a thousand and one things which they did with the procured FOREX. THE best they can be prosecuted for is that they lied to the CBN on the true use of the procured FOREX, WHICH WE ALL KNOW NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN SENTENCED TILL DATE IN NIGERIA FOR YET.

Moreover most banks even do it, present fake requests to CBN at the weekly DAS and then go back to sell it at exhorbitant prices to their customers. Some banks even have Abokis and BDGs that they sell these currencies to and get huge returns from. They call it "round tripping" in their financial sector so pls let's try and understand the basic facts of this issue before we start calling for the head of Otedola, instead we should be grateful that he took the bold step of exposing all these dis-honourable thieves that call themselves Honourables. I for one already have plans to buy the pen video recorder to record most of these corrupt officials that demand bribes before doing what they're been paid to do and posting them here and on youtube. Can you imagine for over two years now I can't get a common C of O in Oyo State and the woman handling it has already collected over N200K from me. The last one that caused quarrel was when she asked me to bring another N30k to get another Tax Clearance meaning I'd have paid about N60K alone for tax clearance for getting C of O of just one plot, she's there claiming the first one expired... can you beat that. Oyo State would not accept my Lagos State tax Clearance for purpose of getting a C of O in Ibadan, is this not Nigeria anymore?

I had the airtel and the speed was slower than that of a snail, I gave up after it took me 25minutes to open my yahoo box and found out that my 1GB for the month was almost used up in that one site opening. I've not used it in the last six months or so. I went and purchased MTN and decided to be doing the daily plan of N500, loaded that one as i was to begin browsing, NEPA took light. I then logged out of the MTN MODEM Software, powered down my laptop and went to switch on my gen. When I powered up my laptop after that and logged into the MTN Software and tried to browse, it was giving me blank pages. I then went to check my balance and it was telling me my 200MB subscription had been used up - UNDER FIVE MINUTES, abeg oh!! All these things are just rip offs abeg

The facts of this matter are very clear. HE WHO POSSESSES DOCUMENTARY, VIDEO AND AUDIO EVIDENCES IS THE ONE SPEAKING THE TRUTH HERE.

Farouk Lawan claims he played along just to expose Otedola but for almost two months he had $500K in his possesion and refused to blow the whistle until other members of the committee got wind that one of them has some money in his possession that was meant to be shared by all members, this was what actually brought the matter to the public. At this point it will be too naive for farouk to have owned up so he had to lie that it wasn't true - remember that his first public statement over this matter was an outright denial. As we know all these so called lawmakers only push money to themselves now in Ghana-Must-Go bags because they do not want traces of the bribes. Big Brother CBN has cornered them.

If farouk was really trying to set Otedola up why is he not the one in possesion of the recorded material but Otedola? Those of you blaming Otedola for paying the bribe knowing fully well that his Zenon was not involved in the importation of fuel but diesel which doesn't benefit from the subsidy fund. Remember that the report itself did not indict Zenon for benefitting from the subsidy fund but for applying for foreign exchange that his company never used to do importation. This was the best the committe could do to make him (Otedola) part with the bribe as they couldn't harp him down on the fuel subsidy charges. So they had to come up with that to corner him so he had no choice than to play ball at this stage cos as we know - All Nigerians were waiting anxiously to cruxify the thieves involved. So the best he could do at that point was to say "yeah right, I will play ball but being the shrewd business man that he is and not wanting to loose him money, he had to involve the SSS cos you all will agree with me that in this country, The SSS still has a better reputation than Police and that's an undisputable fact.

All I know is that with evidences available already and denials that have now become yes I collected just to set him up, which he kept sealed lips about for almost two months now - we should be able to say who is the thief and who is the victim here
