Please I bought a car scanner, when ever I try to scan Honda element 2005, it keeps saying NO CODE FOUND ON THIS MODULE.
I tried it for my neighbors cars and it displays their own diagnostics error codes.
Please what can be wrong?

It's the sensible thing to do Bro!
It's a 'one-off' document, as long as the car's registered in your name.
It's also referred to I think, as the CMR document, supposed to be your evidence of your car's information in the Nigerian Police data base.
But you know how things work here, it also serves as the next meal ticket for the men of the force, when motorists do not have it.

12hrs drive at 90km/h after, the light is still off. I went to see my mechanic today, and he said since it has stayed off after a long period of time, that means it has corrected itself and it was not due to a critical problem. He said such case usually occur when the exhaust pipe get is a serious contact with the road when in motion, or if a plug failed during acceleration. He, however, said I should just let him observe the engine sound tomorrow when it still cold.

Should I be worried?

P.S. I have used the car for 1yr, and 3mth without doing anything aside from changing oil and oil filter every 3 months.

100km would use XLitres

make X the subject of the formula

X = 44 x 100 / 265

X = 4400 / 265

X= 16.6L

which means your car would do 100km using 16litres for city driving.

if you achieved this with the car in optimum condition which are

1. No check engine light

2. 5W30 engine oil full synthetic was used

3. Tyre size used was the recommended with the required PSI of 32

4. You were light footed throughout the time

5. You didn't carry any extra load except yourself and maybe office bag

Then something is wrong

But if you follow the traffic from Lekki to Ikorodu with AC my brother that car tried no be small because Corolla sef no go fit give you that for Lekki ikorodu traffic

People dey rush 03-07 Corolla in Nigeria like an ashawo virgin, the car can take all the abuse you have lined up for it. I would advise the 06 Corolla to 09 corolla

but the RAV4 would fit her, more chic, has good cargo space and good on gas too.

Didn't see this earlier. Would have helped. I left owerri for pH today. Take it to solomento along owerri port Harcourt Road. They don't come cheap though.
