Go for the LE, the sport looks funny after sometime on our bad road. no difference from the LE just that the Sports wear skirt and blouse.

of the opened radiator cap......I expect the coolant to get sucked-in but not in this case.....can this also assist in you diagnosis

Wheew,finally...
I got in contact with mrford today and had my issue resolved.
So for those who know,I have been having issues with my Corolla as check engine light and trac off light illuminated on the dashboard and vibrations followed.
So I got in touch with Mrford here on NL through rationalmind and he came,almost punctual(traffic maybe) and scanned the car and it appeared cylinder 4 was misfiring.
Did his thing and it's all good now with dashboard showing no single light.
I will like to recommend him to most of the phc guys here as I can vouch for his sincerity,humility and professionalism.
It's(cartalk) getting better I guess

I met with him on Monday.. I drove to his house and he checked my fuel level sending unit.. After diagnosing my Car he said i should go and drive it for some time.... I asked what was his charges and he said i should go... It was like a dream to me here in PHC where someone will do that for free.... I didn't leave until he collected the little I have for him.... I just wish he will get a nice space not too far to the main town...

Changed my fuel level sensor yesterday.... I noticed smell of fuel when i park the car for some minutes.... This morning I drove the Car for 40KLM and i scanned the Car... I got P0441, P0455, P0446.... Can i clear the codes and drive for some time to see if they will come up again, Can i travel with the car?

I was preparing the vehicle again for a new week at that time. So I once opened my car engine to 'top' the oil - this is occasioned by my discovery - there is 'dripping' at my parking lot caused by a small leakage in the bottom oil seal. Before I topped the oil, I discovered some black 'frozen engine oil' just below the cover and above the crank (or what looked like the crank).
Is that the sludge?

How can I safely and permanently dislodge it?

Which oil do you think is desirable for my Corolla 2005? Miles is about 230k or thereabouts.

The fuel pump should have the guaging mechanism, he should bring the complete fuel pump out and test, though most often if the tank slams road surface or rocks and the tank is compressed, it would affect the guaging mechanism meaning to get the right reading, you have to fix the tank.

I scanned the car and got P0460..

Have you worked on the pump before or replaced the ECU or the speedometer before?

If yes, reverse what was done.

Hmmmm. So you've replaced coil and serviced the fuel supply and yet it persists.
Swap coil and injector on that cylinder with those on another cylinder. Swap plugs too. Clear the codes. If it comes back to that same cylinder, then you have an internal problem. If the code moves to the new cylinder you transferred the coil, plug and injector to, then one of those items is the culprit. That's all I can think of for now.
other people might have better solutions.
However this solution, or rather diagnostic check is not invasive and can be performed by you or your mechanic at little or not cost which is why I recommend it. Keep us posted.
