PoliticsRe: PDP Vs APC Supreme Court Judgement Slated For May 26, 2023: Matters Arising by seanfer(m): 7:30pm On May 23, 2023
Ratello:
If the case is brought to the Supreme Court by PDP and according to you if they (PDP) lacks legal right to bring it up why is the SC entertaining it and not strike it out? Do you get my drift now?
No court of law will not hear a case before dismissing it.
Can you give examples of suits that courts didn’t listen to arguments before dismissing the case, except the plaintiff ask the court to strike the case out?
PoliticsRe: PDP Vs APC Supreme Court Judgement Slated For May 26, 2023: Matters Arising by seanfer(m): 6:51pm On May 23, 2023

If this matter of jurisdiction is the case, what stops Supreme Court from throwing it out, why are they interested in the case all of a sudden and will even give judgment after cross examining the parties involved despite the fact that this case had been thrown out by a Federal High Court and Court of Appeal as a pre election matter which PDP has no locus standi to bring it up.....why? This is why I am interested in the case.....judgment will be served on May 26th, know this.
I never mentioned jurisdiction, rather I said PDP went to Supreme Court after the high court and Appeal court dismiss the case that PDP did not have legal right to sue APC on how it nominates its candidates. If the case is brought by a member of APC it will be considered.

PoliticsRe: PDP Vs APC Supreme Court Judgement Slated For May 26, 2023: Matters Arising by seanfer(m): 6:41pm On May 23, 2023
The awaited Supreme Court judgement on Friday is not about main case of double nomination rather it is about wether PDP have the right to challenge APC nomination of Shettima.
If the Supreme Court rule in favor of PDP the parties will go back to federal high court and the real case will start.
But I can tell you that the PDP appeal will be dismissed.

Uche Nwosu contested under 2 parties APC/AA.
The 2022 Electoral Act did not give someone outside a political party to sue another party about their nomination. Only a party member can do such.
In this case PDP lacks the power to sue APC about how it nominates its candidate.
[/b]Let us blame the NASS for inserting this rubbish section in the Electoral Act.
PoliticsRe: Election Tribunal: We’ll Expose INEC, Obi’s Lawyer Declares by seanfer(m): 5:16pm On May 23, 2023
But how come LP/Obi lawyers are always running to the press any little opportunity they have?
They should present their proof of payment in court and let the court rule and penalize INEC. Time is running out....

Is AU a country? AU passport doesn’t come into this at all.

And you cannot also use Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 as an example because that’s a country that is notorious for selling Diplomatic Passport to someone who has money.

Tinubu acquired Guinean citizenship and he will go in for it.
You always try to appear smart but at the end of the day it’s always the opposite.
Obi is a honorary citizen of Dallas in US, does that make him to have dual citizenship?
Someone up there is trying to enlighten you but you choose to believe you deluded imagination.

And I just saw your post now, exactly my sentiments!

These guys are extremely dull, they can't even reason like Normal human beings.

No wonder they voted for a re.tard twice in 2015 and 2019, who reduced them to destitutes. One would have expected they would grow some brain, but no. The sufferheads are still supporting another extremely corrupt drug baron while hoping for good governance.

They are cursed and will remain miserable forever.

They're now hoping that a Shylock capitalist like Dangote who borrowed billions of dollars to build refinery will suddenly make it dirt cheap. They couldn't even take lessons from their experiences with his cement.

Condemned sufferheads!
Your comments shows you’re conceived through bitterness.

It will be better if the government can make license to have weapons easy for common man so that we can defend ourselves if the government can’t.

It is for a reason and they didn't say You must win Abuja but 25% of total votes cast in Abuja. You can't appoint a minister for Abuja Residents when they did not give you 25% of their votes. It will amount to imposition which is undemocratic. I don't know why you guys finds it difficult to understand this simple section of the Constitution. If the draftsemen don't want to make emphasis in that of Abuja it will simple be written as "24 States of the Federation including Abuja."
You can appoint a minister who is not an indigene of FCT.
Nasir El- Rufai from Kaduna
Bala Mohamed from Bauchi
Mrs Akinjide from Oyo state.

Don't mind them. They claim Abuja is a state in Nigeria, but can't tell us who the governor of Abuja is. Can't tell us the capital of Abuja and can't tell us who and who are the members of the Abuja state Assembly
Abuja is the capital of FCT, and the NASS act as the House of Assembly for FCT.
Now are you going to say the Senate President and Speaker must have 25% in Abuja also?

*How many states does Nigeria has
*Who is the Governor of Abuja
*What is the Capital of Abuja

I know you're petty. I'm not among the framers of the constitution.
Deal with it. The constitution has already given the conditions for one to emerge as president.

1. Majority votes
2. 25% of votes cast in 24 states AND
3. 25% of votes cast in FCT.

If it's not okay by deal with the constitution
Please from the results declared can you say Obi met the first 2 from your list?
Also section 299 of the constitution has said the FCT should be treated as a state.
PoliticsRe: Why Is It That the APC and INEC Always Tilt towards the Same Direction? by seanfer(m): 6:09am On May 22, 2023
Odibembem:
Did INEC not tilt towards same direction with PDP and Adeleke against APC in d Osun elections court case? Some of u Obidients seems to have really poor educational background. When u challenge an election, u join INEC as a direct party or respondent in d case, in other words d petitioner is challenging INEC that INEC broke the law in announcing d other person as d winner. INEC as a direct defender must now defend itself against u that u are wrong and they were right in declaring d said winner. If u don't want INEC to be in same page with d winner, then sue only d winner without joining INEC in your suit. How can u accuse INEC of being a law breaker and rigger and u don't want them to defend themselves?
Most of them are just ignorant of court procedures and lawless. You can see their leader saying his party chairman is someone a court ask not to parade himself as chairman.

Why is it that in every discourse or issue that regards to the 2023 presidential election, the APC and INEC always tilt towards the same direction? Why do they always support the same cause and oppose the same way? Is it a sign that something is fishing between the two?
INEC defend Adeleke/PDP, Obaseki/PDP’s mandate in Osunand Edo states and nobody call INEC any names because from the beginning of democracy the body always defend its actions. Now because your tiny god is at the losing end you people start calling INEC names.

They are not saying that other states results are not important. Kindly understand that in WAEC, you must score credit pass in English and Mathematics, it doesn't make other subjects irrelevant.

The constitution has said it, you must abide by the constitution
WAEC is different from election. You read and write WAEC yourself and you must be scored based on what you wrote.
Election is determine by voters and because those in FCT might choose not to vote the candidate with the highest number of votes doesn’t mean he is not qualified to be declared a winner. If this explanation is not clear enough for you then you need to go back to JSS1.

In all elections, INEC allow petitioners to exam the election materials, when you conduct an examination and said that a student failed when he didn't fail, you are bound to present the marked script.
INEC should be able to produce the documents they used in announcing the result.
Sometimes, it is better to keep quiet than to exhibit foolishness online.
The bolded applies to you. If you need a transcript from your former school will it be given to you free of charge?
Didn’t you read where INEC lawyer told the court that Obi/LP lawyers didn’t attend meetings where some documents were to be inspected?
Please always think before coming to the public forum to insult people you can’t even stand in real life.

Rest.

Obi was returned unopposed by voice affirmation.

So there was no need for voting by delegates.

But even if delegates voted, the presidential primary happened over one year ago and can no longer be challenged.

Tell your paymasters to try another thing.
At the bolded is wrong.
There must be delegates from states even if the candidate is unopposed.
Little research will help.

Statute barred.

Nothing will come out of this.

Meanwhile INEC has shown that it is just a branch of APC.

It responded to an inquiry from APC with a speed of light but the Presidential Election Petition Court ordered it since March to provide Labour Party with the documents they need to prosecute their case but they have blatantly continued to disobey that order.

No wahala!
Wasn’t expecting anything different from you because you believe everything must go your way.
Did LP/Obi pay the statutory fee to get those documents?
If you need a transcript from a school you graduated from, are you not going to pay some charges?
Let’s be sincere irrespective of the political divide we belong to.

This tribunal case big Sha o.

I do not see anything to nail Tinubu down with but that dual citizenship is a big issue, as long as he voluntarily acquired that citizenship, then he has sworn an allegiance to that country and by our constitution, he is not fit to run for political position like the presidency.
But then again the citizenship has expired.

This should be the biggest tribunal, Wike should brace up
Unfortunately for Obi, the dual citizenship is not among his prayers in the petition.
PoliticsRe: Give Me Seven Weeks To Produce Witnesses, Obi Tells Tribunal by seanfer(m): 7:18pm On May 20, 2023

That is not what this means. He is asking for a period of seven weeks within which he could put in his witnesses into the witness box and have them give evidence in chief, get cross examined and then be re examined where neccessary. That's what this is about. It is called hearing or trial dates.
But we all know that 7 weeks to present witnesses in a case that is time bound is going to be hard.

LP/Obidients don’t want Tinubu to become the president until the petition is done with. Same LP/Obidients are now saying Otti must be swear in irrespective of the judgement because there’s room for appeal.
What else do we need to see you people’s double standards.
