Politics › Re: Is Peter Obi A Democrat? by seanfer(m): 5:08pm On Jun 09, 2023 |
Ofunaofu: Is Tinubu a democrat Tinubu conducted LGA election 2 times and created 37 LCDAs bringing governance closer to the people. The state LGA allocations were stopped by OBJ and none of the LGAs were cash trapped during Tinubu’s tenure as Governor. I hope you can now decide who’s a democrat or not. But I know you can’t say the truth. |
Politics › Re: Is Peter Obi A Democrat? by seanfer(m): 4:11pm On Jun 09, 2023 |
Ofunaofu: Peter Obi is a real democrat
There's no doubt about that unless the person wants to be mischievous.
We know those who claims to be democrats but engage in criminal state capture, building conduit pipe from the coffers the state treasury to their personal company milking the state dry.
They don't believe in participating in a free, fair and credible Electoral process, rather they steal, grab and run away with the people's mandate Someone who refused to conduct LGA election for 7 years and six months is a democrat. Also someone who moved all state funds from other banks to Fidelity where he was the chairman is not a thief but a saint. Continue oooooo. |

Politics › Re: ‘organised Crime’ – Peter Obi Speaks On Tinubu’s Govt Removal Of Fuel Subsidy by seanfer(m): 6:37am On Jun 07, 2023 |
Ochek: Only if you took your time to read his comment. Obi never denied his plan to removing subsidy of fuel. Regardless of the time he must have said he will implement it (1hr or 24hrs), he stated that there was going to be a plan running to cushion on the effect.
Rather than talking for talking sake, talk logically with facts. Your APC led government has done a right thing but without adequate plan as evidenced by the massive unbearable suffering on the Nigerian ppl. Same Obi on arise tv said he will remove it immediately not even a day after he becomes the president. Does that mean he was confused? |

LilleG: Are you sure of this. If you have the time can you explain better please The offense must be read on the floor of the senate and 2/3 which is 80+ Senator must vote that the offenses should be investigated. Then the Senate will write the chief judge who will now notify the President and the President will have 7-14 days to reply. After this an independent panel will be appointed by the chief Judge to investigate the allegations. After the investigations the panel will submit its report. Then if the president is guilty from the findings of the panel. The matter will be moved to House of Representatives and a date will be fixed for voting. Over 280 house members must vote for impeachment. Then the result will be transmitted to the Senate m, at the senate over 80 Senators must also vote in support. So you see that impeaching a president is not a play job. |

Nightwolf1: Why was it withheld? Have you forgotten the incidence that led to that? The LCDA? By the way, it wasn't only Lagos state. Ebonyi state had same issue. Please show me in the constitution where it empowers the president to withhold allocation of another tier of government. Tinubu never call them LGAs but LCDAs. And their fundings is not coming from the Federal Allocation rather from the state IGR. We all know the reason OBJ did what he did, it’s the fear of losing grip on state Governors and here is the consequence of such action. |
