An interesting read. I think we need more volunteers in this field. First responders like paramedic guys are very important in emergency management. Please can anyone here tell me where I can get skills to render help in an emergency instead of taking pictures and watching people struggle for their last breath. I'll gladly make out time to learn. There's this feeling of accomplishment that compares to none when I'm engaged in a life saving activity.

Who forced these Telcos to slash their data prices in the first place? Did they not keep unveiling new data plans and prices to attract market share? Did anyone force them to give out all the freebies they did? If they felt d prices were unrealistic, healthy business plans would have seen them offer better services for slightly increased prices on their own network, not banding together with the connivance of the NCC to unilaterally increase prices by as much as 200%!

That is bad faith and large scale monopoly which should not be the case. There is supposed to be competitive marketing and prices based on quality of services rendered. How effective have their data services been anyway?

Exactly my thoughts.

The NASS does not need the president to pass it into law

There are two things involved in a bill becoming an act. 1. Either the president assents after both chambers have concurred on the bill or the NASS decide to override the presidents power of assent by vetoing it. What I'm sure of is that this NASS will not thread the path of the latter. Not on a controversial bill such as amendment of CCT Act. So, the bill is DOA just like the NABRO bill. What is happening in Kogi state APC is an aberration. How can votes be transfered from one individual to the other. Imagine I voted for an Audu/Faleke ticket because of their individualism. How can my vote now be transfered to someone I never supported.

That's exactly my point. Kogi people voted for Audu/Faleke and not Bello. It's pure common sense. This means the people will be getting a governor they didn't vote for. This means some polling units will deliver a governor for the majority.

Just imagine! what makes a committee "juicy"? Impunity has finally taken a new dimension.
