Politics › Re: The Leadership Team Of KOWA Party by seanswitch(m): 9:55am On Feb 07, 2018 |
olaboy33: in as much as am much impressed with the general ideology of kowa as a political party, it's a pity very little has been done to get to the grassroots......
I registered on the party website but the payment portal was down, got to meet with the national pro Demola okeodo (molly pizza) few months ago nd he linked me up with the National youth caucus leader, from there i was linked up with the state youth leader (kwara state) but up till there, there has been no follow up on your path, tried and tried reaching up to even the ward chairman ND he just seems unserious.....
I believe I have a lot to offer the party if given the chance.....many youths today are still waiting for the right time and avenue to be the desired leaders of today, i see that avenue in KOWA!!!!
please see to how interested progressive minds can fully participate in the progress of the party for the general progress of the country as a whole
#youths_are_leaders_of_today Just saw your post now. Please can we connect. I also like to join Kowa party. I'm in Ilorin presently. |

I saw that interview this morning and I must question the intellectual capability of the force Pro. He lacked depth and proper understanding of policing in a complex society like Nigeria. Wonder how they chose him. Maybe Federal Character on the platter of competence and experience. |

"President Obasanjo is respected in the country because he ruled Nigeria under the present democracy for eight years. As for the letter he wrote, he knows what he is doing. You know that Obasanjo is now a real politician. But to tell Buhari not to run in 2019, he does not have the power because he has only one vote like any other person.
The only sense in what he said. |

One bloody recruit tried that with me last week at Union Bank ATM. I stood my ground with the two of them and quickly took pictures of them and also threatened them. I left there a champ. My offence - it was wrong to ask them to allow someone else tried the ATM since they already wasted like 10mins trying with no result. Warning - know when to fight. You won't win all battles even if you are right. |

Simple don't get your head thinking too much The north is paying dearly for its ban on alcohol. Northerners consume in alarming other stimulants worse than alcohol in alarming quantities. The northern leaders and religious shy away from this well known truth |

MrBrownJay1: your state of mind is the reason why so many people fail in life. you take a loan, thus you have debts, and when you have enough money to repay the lender, you'd rather take ANOTHER gamble in trying to make MORE money....what a greedy state of mind, kai?! no wonder people in Nigeria dont want to give out loans... So how is he going to pay back now. He is still in debt. He will pay them and still have his profit and biz if he had used the money for business. |
Crime › Re: Man Erroneously Gets N10m Deposit In His Account In Lagos, Pays Debts With It by seanswitch(m): 11:26am On Nov 29, 2017 |
aribisala0: You are funny this case is about theft. It has nothing to do with repayments or payment plan. The purpose of this case is to imprison him period. The court can also fine him and there is no limit to that
Repayment is another matter, another case go and ask Jim Iyke whether they gave him a convenient repayment plan.
Once you get judgment 5th at he should pay next step is to get bailiffs and start selling his property .Apart from repayment he can be made to pay damages. Your ideas are quite childish Mr Arugbo... Come back when the case is settled. You think the man's defence will not sell? You don't know nothing. |

They will drag the case together. After everything, they will give him a payment plan that is convenient for him. Shikena. But it's unwise to use that money to settle debts. He should have just used it to do business. After all, he'll still have to pay back. It's just a 10 million Naira loan with no interest that you can pay back with no hassle. |

Health › The Need To Prevent Use Of Graphic Pictures On Nairaland by seanswitch(op): 12:25pm On Nov 13, 2017 |
As the topic suggests, it has become a Nigerian thing and particularly a Nairaland norm for gory pictures of the dead, especially accident victims to grace front page often. It is very disturbing and it is a trend that needs to stop. And I'm willing to be a part of the campaign against the use of such pictures.
Please let's keep talking about it till Nairaland management deems it fit to do something about the issue. If Nairaland can ban the use of swear words for moral reasons, it should also be able to ban the use of pictures that are not appropriate, especially pictures from dead bodies and accident victims.
Drop your opinion. |
