flekan:Did I say so?? This topic is about Ghana. Start a new topic and discuss big things that are going on in 9ja. Ex,eko Lagos(?). Never been to Nigeria and do not have families living there so I would not know. |
Ill advise you to settle down in the South. I used to live up north( Maryland) and its freaking expensive. We moved down south to North Carolina and its very affordable. Charlotte, which is 30 minutes from where I live, is one of the top cities in the south. There are many Africans that live here also.Charlotte is run over by Liberians though. There is also Raleigh but I have not been up there. Do me a favor and do not move on the east, north or west coast. Come down south. Places like North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, etc will be good for you. |
"i am one of those few people who struggled and toiled hard in my capacity as an actress to put nollywood where it is today." ahh, why r u cutting the sentence short. |
justwise:I have fam living over there that I talk to. There are also news reports and articles that tell me that Ghana is doing big things.Living in Ghana for 2 weeks did not draw my conclusion. |
rhymz:Prove it. I want to see your prove. |
rhymz:LMAO~~So what if the states have the best schools?? I want to get a degree from an African university so I picked Ghana. I am even looking at Nairobi. Why should I lie about living in the states? In your opinion, where do U think I reside. Go and ask for my IP address If U want to prove that I live here. Matter of fact, ask some nairaland friends. |
rhymz:Whatever floats your boat. By the way, I live in Yankee. |
Why should U guys force your religion on everyone else? |
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew. I do not believe this. YUCK. |
K. I really wanna see one. |
justwise:Look, I have families living all over there. My step daddy(RIP) was Ghanaian. I read news about the place and its all positive. Strange or not?? That is your problem.. |
Where is the "I Put nollowood where it is today" in her response?? She said "I think i am one of those few people who struggled and toiled". The title is misleading. Well, anything to sell more papers. She looks fantastic in that business woman suit. |

Ghana is definitely an awesome country. Lived there for 2 weeks and had the best time of my life. Hopefully, I will be schooling at the University of Ghana when I am done here with my Bachelors. It was on the list of best African universities.. |

http://www.latimes.com/news/nation-and-world/la-fg-france-muslims1-2009dec01,0,965955.story Reporting from Paris - The decision by Swiss voters to ban minarets on Muslim houses of worship resonated across neighboring France on Monday, stoking an already emotional debate on whether burkas should be banned in public and coloring a government-sponsored debate over what it means to be French. Commentators and officials in France and across Europe took sides Monday on the surprise Swiss decision, passed in a referendum the previous day. French lawmakers who support banning the burka, the all-covering garment worn by some Muslim women, defended themselves against accusations that the move would fuel a growing phobia against Islam in Europe. French Socialist Party spokesman Benoit Hamon said the Swiss decision in effect blamed Muslims for "all of Western society's ills," and compared it to the three-month-long public debates on French identity spearheaded by conservative President Nicolas Sarkozy. "I regret that the president is surrendering himself to this type of stigmatization of foreigners and immigrants by associating national identity and immigration," Hamon said on RTL French radio. more on the link. |
LMAO~~This topic is . Keep on crying. She might be put out of hell. Ridiculous story. |
Swiss voters on Sunday adopted a referendum banning the construction of minarets, seen by some on the far right as a sign of encroaching Islamism. "The Federal Council respects this decision," said a statement from Switzerland's government. "Consequently the construction of new minarets in Switzerland is no longer permitted. The four existing minarets will remain. "It will also be possible to continue to construct mosques," the government statement said. "Muslims in Switzerland are able to practice their religion alone or in community with others, and live according to their beliefs just as before."
