Ibaku: @All, which is the best way to connect the old dual view pvr to serve 4 extra rooms, 1 room will have the tv link while the others will use a 4way booster. having in mind that tv link red light must stay on. thanks.

olenyi: Go to the market and get one female iron tv plug, 7 iron male tv plugs, 16 f connectors, two 4 ways eurostar splitter (or one eight way splitter if you can get one), one alcad av to RF converter signal amplifier (#8000), two packs of tower plastic clips, and one or two rolls of coaxial cable.


Now connect one f connector to one end of your cable. Screw on the female tv plug and plug to your alcad converter. Connect your av wires to the rx and the other end to the appropriate ports on the converter.

Now run your cable accordingly using the spliter to split the signal coming from the converter to the different tv's.

When you are done laying your cable, plug in/on your alcad converter and viola, you are done.

Alternatively, look for any old video cassette player with channel settings or some dvd players with ''RF in'' and ''RF out'' ports. Just plug your av wire coming from your receiver video and audio out ports to the video cassette player av in port. Then connect your cable with the f connector and the female tv plug to the ''RF out'' port at the back and you are good to go.

odilibe: If your converter has only one rf out port...then use tv antenna/cable splitter with multiple port to split the signal to 2 or more TVs..also use rf plug + f connector to join coaxial cable from rf converter to splitter...and from spitter to multiple TVs...

odilibe: ADEX...You can use wireless digital audio video sender...bad side of it your neighbours will be watching as-well, your satellite tv

If the tv in next room has AV input ,you can use 1 x 4 or 1 x 2 port audio video tv splitter with amplifier/booster...it enables 2 or 4 AV output devices to share 1 AV input...

At first I try using it av system to run the distribution point,which I later discover at some point the audio/video is not clear ie the reciever cant take up to that amount of TV(7) So I discard the Idea.
A friend suggest I use Av to rf converter transponder,with coaxial cable,that I try also it turn out to be worse.
I will like to know if there's a better way arround it,or if there is something wrong with my method.
