Since how many years that Boko boys have been killing, Buhari never met or called anyone to strategise on peace in the North, instead he made allegations against govt on war against boko boys, indirectly boosting the boys ego but now because he wants to attract sympathy votes he remembers Northern Christians. Politicians, deceiving us since 1914j. Incase you don't know,GMB and GEJ are like other politicians, they really don't care about us, all they want is just to fulfill their personal ambition. I wish the 2 of them can be disqualified. “The main aim of our visit to the North-East CAN Chairman was about how to achieve a peaceful society in northern Nigeria and to revive the good relationship that existed between Muslims and Christians youths and the possible solutions to problems the region might experience during and after elections. |

Court should do the needful, disqualify GEJ and GMB.GEJ for the reasons you stated, GMB for unable to present relevant documentation and lying under oath. mickeymimi: Jonathan have NO right to seek re-election.
He did not inherit the remaining part of Yaradua's presidency. a president is able to take the oath of office only twice. No inheritance in government.. Jega pronounced him RE-ELECTED if you remember in 2011.If GEJ wanted two full terms he should have allowed the Senate president conduct a fresh election after Yaradua's death. He has already taken two Oaths
There was no provision in our law for completing someone else's term of office (term is term and it is a joint ticket held by both the president and vice so it is not construed as different). it was two terms or two oaths period. Once you have sworn oaths twice that is it. As our constitution stand today no provision for anyone completing somebody's term as long as "swore oaths twice" remains there.
may be he should not have sworn the Oath of Office the first time as himself. May be he should have shared the Presidential power with Mrs. Turai Yar'adua, As it is NOW, President Jonathan has already sworn the Oath of office as Nigerian President twice and he is essentially seeking a third Swearing-in and he wants to sit as Nigerian President for 10 years, where the Constitution said the MAXIMUM tenure of any one person, as President in Nigeria, including that one person called Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, shall not exceed eight years, of two terms of four years each. The Nigerian Constitution made provision for a condition under which a person may be on the seat as President, for longer than eight years in case of wars, such as a war making it impossible to conduct an election, but obviously no such person shall be required to take the Oath of office more than the maximum of two times.
Jonathan cannot be swear in thrice. |

Don't mind them, what is politics in this. A police AIG convoy even with sophisticated piolice equipment and one school cert holder is asking who is AIG, then mobile police altercating with his escort men, what's political in that? He has always been a no nonsense man and that's him. Some ppl here feel because Oba of Lagos intervend he shld not excercise his authority, story. Tell me how do u enforce discipline in service if not what he did to his men.Can Oba condone that? In a normal place sef LCC is suppose to tender serious apology to him. tdayof: mbu character has nothing to do with any political party. |
Politics › Re: AIG Mbu In Mild Drama At Lekki Toll Plaza by securi: 9:20pm On Feb 08, 2015 |
I don't expect policemen on duty to pay any funny toll and again that the 5 mobile police attached to LCC had altercation with the men on AIG's convoy sounds so funny, am sure Oba of Lagos himself is aware that is very unprofessional and such officers should be dealt with. AIG has the authority to withdraw policemen attach to any outfit especially if it is sure they have tendency to abuse the priviledge which comes to play in this case.Public officers are not meant to be disrespected and this LCC staff simply diresprected his positioin hence that action. |

Thank you OP. I had a similar discussion with my Wife yesterday. You know that some SANs are in court seeking for GEJ disqualification and GMB also has a similar case in court. Assuming both of them are disqualified and VP candidates now become Presidential candidates, l see a reversal of the support for APC by the Almajaris and the north as a whole. I see Prof Osibanjo being rejected and within few hours there will be a soft landing to support Sambo by the Almajaris and the whole north. I really do not know why but l wish this disqualification thing happen to the 2 Candidates, so that we will know the true change the Almajaris and the north is clamouring for, if it is power shift to the north or the actual change majority of the people in the south want. It will help us further understand where their interest lies and clearly define our relationship going forward. |

All l will say is, let us pray for God's will to be done and vote who we individually believe in.if we say GEJ is corrupt, are we saying Jagaban is not? And we know Tinubu will wield so much influence if Buhari wins. They all give impression they love us and have plans for us but can we really say they do? We should realise this and not over heat the nation with unnecessary attacks, harrassment, character assasination that will cause further animosity in the nation, because that is all I see these days online, in d paper, offices, bars and even in churches. May God help us. |

Dear friend, what you just checked may not directly translate to the number he gave and that is because many of those satelite centers that appear as a single unit may have 100sof ppl clustered there. Take for example, a branch at Ikeja will log on to the program and project it for more than 300 worshippers physically present there and these people are counted and as the service is going on the number is sent to the church offc for collatn. I am not saying his quoted fig is correct sa o. |

What are the ones you saw there and their prices? PapaBrowne: That cheap?? And you guys were going to pay manual labour 2k per day when they can't even work an Acre in a day!!
Mechanization will solve majority of our agriculture problems.
I attended and Agro Machinery event in Italy last November and to my amazement these machinery are not too expensive.
I wish a group of people can just pull funds together to fix this machinery draught!! |
