yes, i know. In a way it is really bad. Like all my roommates now make so much fun of me because if anything. If anything gets missing in the house they would be like "sefago has scammed us again." they might be joking but it is very painful.

Anytime nigerians want to take american exams, they can't get their relatives to pay for them, because they dont allow credit card payments only for nigeria. 

we have become famous at it. It would have been ok if it was in small doses, but now it is becoming too much. Using common sense, and also knowing that someone of stiglitz stature would not say something exactly demeaning about an economic tool that has proved useful for years, I assumed that he was talking about using GDP as a solemarker for economic growth, instead of what it really is- just one of the many markers of economic growth.

He didnt say the GDP is irrelevant, he just said it should be used in combination with other data, while economists consider the limits of using data that is obviously subject to many constraints

yeah they do, and I am sure somewhere in the law, they have their asses covered. For one, hiring people from certain nationalities would be a major breach to the national security of the US. Middle Easterners would face and those with muslim names even if they have lived all their lives in the US. Why so? Because the Middle east has gotten a reputation (I would say a bit unfairly) for terrorism. While we are building our rep for 419, no financial institution would be willing to hire someone with roots from naija. Infact, I am sure the US postal system (where naija ppl have been found to open letters to see if there are checks or something  they can take) would start banning us from working there.

you mean in the US? or in naija?, well in the former, Man I haven't like met any straight up from naija girl- here like I mean straight from the African bush  .
