Ok now that the bible is hocus pocus- as agreed then you should use it as a statement like- jonah was said to have been swallowed by a fish- doesn't it defy physical law (it makes you seem like you believe in it)

Let us respect facts, logic and common sense.
i think you especially should do the same. the way you presented the bible stories, seemed like you believed in them.

Why must we discard something simply because the white claims it does not exist? Is this not inferiority complex in action?
We are discarding it because it is irrational, please don't bring race into this

Till today many people belong to one deadly cult or the other just to make money and some of them end up giving up their loved ones as sacrifices in exchange for wealth.
this was all i could get through. This is exactly what you are doing:
Rather than question things they don't believe they come out and make categorical statements out of ignorance.
How many people personally do you know that have made their money through juju? Ok its secret right, so no one can know, but thent why are these people not phenomenally richer than Bill Gates? Or at least worth close to a billion dollars. What stops the cult from giving them phenomenal wealth?  Also why is it that there are always convenient laws that prevent anyone from actually witnessing these juju.

Christianity came and replaced superstition? What have you been smoking? So superstition is a religion that another religion replaced?
Christian theology is a myth, but it managed to supersede European pagan religions (which breeded superstition), Superstition is usually part of a religious belief, infact superstitions can be categorized as a subset of religion. Regardless, what I am trying to say is that with the dawn of Christianity during the Byzantine empire's period, there was a discarding of old superstitions for new ones - you are just nitpicking my arguments in a terrible way

Moses was reported to have parted the red sea for the Israelites to pass through. Does science explain this? Does this break the physical laws?
Reported by whom  grin grin grin. Afam you are one funny guy.

A fish was reported to have swallowed Jonah and delivered him where God wanted him to go? Can science explain this?
reported by whom? Why did fishes conveniently stop swallowing people presently? ANd why was God , who was so involved in the lives of the people in the bible, just decide to stop interacting with us?

Do you think people would still be doing this if they don't see it work for others who may be their friends and colleagues?
No, people will not stop doing it because they believe in hearsay- hearsay says it works. But I havent met any rich person who made his money from juju and trust me, I have met a lot of rich people in Nigeria (most are government officials, or worked in banks, and oil companies)

The mind is a terrible thing to waste and that is why the average Nigerian cannot think through anything and so cannot invent or produce anything because the white man is there to think for him. Shame! Real shame!!
Agreed, I am glad you can also self-reflect and criticize yourself. I am not waiting for any european to disprove it- I am waiting for the African called Afam to prove it without doubt.

PS: did you notice, I just ignored your insults and extracted your minute arguments? you should attempt to do the same when you are insulted.
Culture › Re: Juju Claims Are Fraudulent: An African Fetish (Published In 1905) by SEFAGO(m): 8:11pm On Oct 18, 2009
he bible records that Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead after 3 days. Does this obey or disobey the physical laws you seem to respect 100% of the time?

Jonah was reported to have been swallowed by a fish only to be delivered where God wanted him to go. Is this a violation of the physical laws?

Sarah gave birth to a child after menopause. Does this obey the physical laws?

No one is asking you to practice juju. But denying its existence simply based on the fact that you have not witnessed it is unfortunate.

What would you do if you see someone being shot several times and nothing happens? Believe in juju or explain it away as another flavor of the spiritual laws?
Learn the history of the bible you are using as your argument, b4 you sue it. The assumption you are making is that these stories are true.

The so called Bible you guys read was written by men who had racist, sexist, and bigotry in their heads.
That is 100% true, lol. The sad thing is most people dont consider or think about it. The Old testament is a historical book, while the new testament is a figment of some people's minds. If I say that now, most people will say, I think I ma oyibo, but lol who brought christianity? You cannot be a christian and also say the supernatural doesn't exist- its a contradiction. I have to agree on this one.

"Please stop the pastors who hurt us," said Jerry quietly, touching the scars on his face. "I believe in God and God knows I am not a witch."
This is from, the yahoo article, poor kid who isn't a witch, and has been hoodwinked into even believing in the christian God- now being killed by religious fanatics. THat is the problem with ignorance, it causes so much harm in this world undecided (Anyone who has significant knowledge of the bloody past of christianity- would be ashamed to be a christian (from the witch hunts, imperialism to contributing to the holocaust)

We African should be aware that the only casuality in our destiny is ourselves not some imaginary concepts

They first strive to be whiter than oyinbo people (and fail woefully to superior arguments). . .
This is another problem with Nigerians. If anyone presents a voice of reasoning they attribute it to oyinbo thinking. Even idiot mad people are aware of the fact that all cultures had superstitions but these superstitions were discarded with logic and science. Incase you are not aware, africans are were, european were 1000 years ago. During those dark ages, Europeans barbarically did human sacrifices, believed in the supernatural- in witches (though in a different way than nigerians).

Christianity came and replaced superstition, and then there were the inquisitions and excesses of the catholic church. Then the protestant revolution occured, just replacing the religious myth order. Finally we are in the 21st century, and oyibo people as you call tem are aware that witnessing the supernatural is an unlikely event. Not impossible, there might be supernatural events (stuff that defies science and logic but probably because our science and logic is not advanced enough), but the ones you guys claim to be seeing are a figment of your imagination.

IMO, Beaf and Afam have zero arguments/evidence, and they know it. Especially if they want to go one on one with me. They avoid answering any questions about the paranormal because they are aware that I would tear it to pieces. There best defense, would involve avoiding my statements and engaging in invariable insults. As I said, if you guys can even prove that there is paranormal activity without reasonable doubt do so, instead of focussing on the insult, I made in the past- most of which were not personal, I was just shocked at the misinformation.

imagine a dog shamelessly claiming to have made a post with 20% being insults and yet expects his stupid questions to be answered. You don't address people the way you address your father and expect them not to react.
Ok sorry sir. I am really sorry. Now Answer my questions.

Well, we're waiting from you to finish up ministering to Beyonce's booty so you can finish off the sentence.
Man why would I want to leave heaven grin grin grin . I wanted to make sure he was sane, because i will be angry if I am arguing with a madman with a laptop under third mainland bridge, typing away- the joke would be on me anyways lol.

I don't believe in insults but when insulted I believe it is only fair to respond in kind because no one has the right to insult others when losing an argument.
You are one funny guy. You said you are not hear to argue or convince me, then a couple of post later, you say something different. And who told you I was losing the argument- u cleverly avoided my questions about "paranormal" ( I cannot say that word withour cracking up grin grin grin) activity, and then proceeded to insult me 100%. Notice 20% of my post were insults, 80% questions that need to be answered before, i even argue about paranormal activity.

We haven't reached the argument yet mate. You can only argue when something cannot be discarded without reasonable doubt. I have found nothing to believe iin the existence of Juju except it is in your head

If you are sure of what you are saying then there is no need to lie. Liars are criminals and I say shame on your and the people that brought you up. You are a disgrace.
yeah I am, I am a disgrace  grin grin grin. Lol, the people who brought me up didnt do anything to you.

You claim to be independent mided- you are not the first who has said so on nairaland- but aren't mad people independent minded  huh. The majority dont get what they are doing lol. In addition, you keep following the Nairaland tradition of avoiding logical arguments for roforofo fight.

But seriously, you claim to have seen juju, and that you are scared of it. But you are one of the few who have seen this "paranormal activity". In fact you are the first person I have met, who has confidently seen juju- are you sure you were not imagining it.  I once had a great conversation with a mosquito when I had fever from malaria about the political problems  in Nigeria especially a discussion about Baba Sege (OBJ). When I got better, I found out it was an hallucination and I was quite disappointed. But of course that doesn't mean talking  mosquitoes exist. Or do they, from your stance, I talked to one anyways and that was my personal experience- so they must exist. And you can't discard the argument that talking mosquitoes exist just because you haven't a talking mosquito.

I just finished arguing with Beaf and Afam about the troubles caused by spreading superstitions- how it caused violence and death- a few hours later, that was what I saw on yahoo news. lol, senior, anyways chop this:

Paranormal challenges
Main article: List of prizes for evidence of the paranormal

In 1922, Scientific American offered two US $2,500 offers: (1) for the first authentic spirit photograph made under test conditions, and (2) for the first psychic to produce a "visible psychic manifestation." Harry Houdini was a member of the investigating committee. The first medium to be tested was George Valiantine, who claimed that in his presence spirits would speak through a trumpet that floated around a darkened room. For the test, Valiantine was placed in a room, the lights were extinguished, but unbeknownst to him his chair had been rigged to light a signal in an adjoining room if he ever left his seat. Because the light signals were tripped during his performance, Valiantine did not collect the award.[27] The last to be examined by Scientific American was Mina Crandon in 1924.

Since then, many individuals and groups have offered similar monetary awards for proof of the paranormal in an observed setting. These prizes have a combined value of over $2.4 million dollars.[28]

The James Randi Educational Foundation offers a prize of a million dollars to a person who can prove that they have supernatural or paranormal abilities under appropriate test conditions. No famous psychic has gone through with taking the challenge.
Hunger is knacking Nigerians- this our time to prove ourselves. With all the witches dey don catch, at least one go fly for show now.

I'm still wondering where on this thread have I made myself a proponent of juju? This is why I keep accusing you of dishonesty. I have said that paranormal things occur and it is possible to transmute one substance to another, something that has been both caused and observed in labs over and over.
lol, my bad- you are on the wrong thread. This is about juju not paranormal activity.

next (they are not the same by the way-i hope you know that)
Politics › Re: Okada Woman Calls A Woman A Cat After Hitting Her. Idiot Lagosians Proceed To Beat Her Until She "Confesses" by SEFAGO(m): 11:45pm On Oct 17, 2009
^ lol, it did. First he doesn't care that we get convinced, but he is still on this thread stating "his personal opinion is that juju exist" His claim is unsubstantiated and he wants me to draw facts from old wives tales that juju exist- therefore, i should believe everything I hear right?

This keeps going on every topic I engage in on Nairaland. People present unsubstantiated arguments- bloody fool you when you present reasonable objections- because they don't even have any reason for holding such beliefs- they just want to argue with name calling and avoiding loopholes in their arguments.

How can I believe in Juju when so much evidence points to the contrary?

If it is not Afam's job to convince anyone then Afam should fem his mouth (it is likely he cannot go one on one to prove his point and is chickening out of the debate). Beaf if you are ready to consider arguments- as well as answer my questions on juju, and why is it that only a select few have seen {cough cough} Afam and why is it only diaboloical in nature and most importantly why is it that Africans are the only ones preoccupied with this bullshit, then we could go for a gentlemanly argument. Or if anyone here is willing to do so, But if you are ready to justify your statements- then dont state them and expect them to go unchallenged.

When will Africans start contributing something intellectual and stop using (for those who are yoruba) "mo gbo (I heard) arguments"?
Politics › Re: Okada Woman Calls A Woman A Cat After Hitting Her. Idiot Lagosians Proceed To Beat Her Until She "Confesses" by SEFAGO(m): 10:49pm On Oct 17, 2009
I only stated my opinion on the issue of juju which remains that it not only works for those that use them because I have seen people use it but is evil in my own opinion since all the incidents I have witnessed all boiled down to violence instead of good things.
yeah yeah. Inteersting how you changed your ass position when you found out you cannot present compelling ideas. So now everything that has been  going on or like pages is your personal opinion? Then what makes your personal opinion better than mine? Because it is yours?

May be in a few more years you will mature to the extent where you can live with what you do not expressly agree with
i have always been able to do that. My problem is that ignorance and idleness breeds violence and anarchy. You confirms the possibility of juju fuels superstitions. You are causing harm by your beliefs. A belief in juju means a belief in the illogical. So I can decide to shoot anyone and blame it on juju, its ok, it exists anyways so I can go on a killing spree. I cannot expressly accept ignorance-I usually know when I might be wrong, and in this case not likely.

you guys avoid like fire, providing any responses to my questions about juju, holding your personal beliefs as absolutely true. undecided

Beaf just keeps calling people a RoosterDrinker- a display of area boyism and vagabondism- lol

As for those who effortlessly resort to insults when they are incapable of supporting their points let them continue if it makes them hide their inadequacies, fear, ignorance and stupidity
Contradiction- insulting me, while complaining about insults. Conceded I started it first, but I feel, after looking at your statements that I am justified

I do agree I was harsh, but I brought up some points, I wanted you to address. My insults are slightly justified because I see a lot of wrong information here, and people need correction lol-

But I really don't think I would like to go into the philosophy of knowledge and what it means to believe in something because, I dont think you studied any philosophy. And I am sparing u all the pointless talk (yep, you see I criticize myself too).

Someone mentioned skulls and bones, but if the person did a 20 seconds Wikipedia search, to make sure he is at least partially correct,  he would not have provided misinformation, to piss me off. i like people who present facts and not fallacy. you have presented subjective data (you saw juju), I cannot say you are wrong, but I cannot say you are right either. I could say I saw Obama yesterday- it is impossible for you to prove me as a liar except Obama was identified to be in a different location at the supposed time I was meeting him.

Dont worry, I am not married yet, I am just about leaving my teens, lol,  grin- but if I have kids they wuld probably be like me Brash, but brilliant

I don't subscribe to juju because I believe it is evil
But why is it intrinsically evil?

The mind is a terrible thing to waste. Self imprisonment is even worse. Rigid mindsets that may simply expose how stupid and narrow minded one is should give way to logic, facts, respect for opposing views and common sense.
yadadaida. You are basically taking a rigid stance "that juju exist", that is in my opinion unvindicated while closing your own mind to the fact that "juju does not exist". narrow-mindedness is a two-way street mate.

The problem is that your arguments are based on you have witnessed it. Your experience is subjective and different from other. Anyone online could claim they have seen Juju. Now prove to me logically that it is possible?

Impossible to prove, but shouldn't be discarded you say- right undecided- then that is a cop out, and in my own opinion Juju doesn't exist- i am perfectly justified. Reasonable proof for it is absent, reasonable proof against it (the questions i listed out to you) is present- and you still expect me to just believe?

LOCATION:  OKIJA

TIME:   12:00 AM TONIGHT/ no african time. The gods do not like it.

ATTIRE: WHITE LOIN CLOTH
Abeg, I dont have white cloth, will red do? I would be there 12:00 AM sharp- I would get there by flying if you know what I mean- the problem is that I can only fly at night, not during the day- because my juju only works at Night. So my journey starts at 9:00 pm. I hope I dont crash into aeroplane, so that when I fall down and turn back into a person, some ppl would conveniently find me nad start beating me up.

But yes Okija seems great, paranormal central.

If you noticed, those in the opposing camp aren't arguing the veracity of the story (like you, we weren't there). We are talking about the possibility of paranormal phenomena to occur. Let's keep to honesty and not twist things.
Yes but I know Nigeria, this things happen all the time. Witches are really busy in naija. Everywhere I go, I always hear of one woman who touched a man and his private part disappeared and they started beating her then the man's private part reappeared  embarassed. Stories after stories, all pointless and false. If Paranormal activities exist- why are they so bloody frequent in West Africa only? Its all in your mind mate embarassed. I wasn't there, but the story never changes, only the location. Infact, I Thot I heard this story when I was 6, but it is actually a recent story lol.

"science cannot always cohere all the time with logic", what comes closer? Your illogical and unproven word? If you "don't need math equations", to prove a point logically, aren't you subscribing to hocus pocus?
You must be kidding right? You are definitely kidding. Math equations are models used to understand nature- they aren't nature itself. Just showing me some manipulations of the schrodinger equation and wave functions, to show that paranormal activity is possible, doesnt help. You cannot model all of nature with equations. You cannot model the growing of a fruit- its fickle and subject to the environment. You cannot model the environment either. Mathematics is abstract and very theoretical- At the least you know that, especially if you are claiming physics arguments. I just can't believe you take math equations as the bible truth- wait do you think you are talking to a normal nairalander with no knowledge of mathematics grin:

Every scientist knows that math models behavior, and math is limited by the fickle nature of nature (no pun intended).

This is from Carl Jung, the famous psychologist- "Science is the art of creating suitable illusions which the fool belives or argues against, but the  wise man enjoys their beauty and ingenuity without being blind to the fact they are human veils and curtains concealing the abysmal darkness of the unknowable."

I used the Tim kills grandfather argument to show that time travel is illogically possible. But Quantum theory, claims that time travel is possible. So which is correct- science or philosophical logic? Following from this, even if quantum theory suggest the possibility of paranormal activity- this might be forbidden by logic. The world in unknowable and we don't know which is correct logic or science.

Ahh, do I always have to spell things for people?

If you know something then it exists and if you don't then it doesn't? Where the hell did you get that from? So, if you don't know the answer to 1 + 1 then the answer does not exist? Wonderful theory.

I may know the answer to 1 + 1 and still tell you it is 3 may be because I am living in denial. I have seen charms work so it exist. However, I do not believe in them as I seen them more or evil powers than good powers, simple.

If you are so sure of this why not go challenge those who use them and come back here to tell us stories that is if you are alive to do so.
I wouldn't bother with you because you will likely not be able to understand what I am trying to say except you have some knowledge of epistemological arguments. 1+1 is a childs argument- I wouldn't present that if I were you, I wouldnt even address it. But followup- You have seen charms work, but I havn't- Do they exist for me? No they dont in my own perspective- to be perceived is to exist  . I have only heard of charms, and never seen them in action.

Also, i have logically considered the possibility of charms because, although I have not seen them want to consider their possibility- but why is it that these charms are never for good- and why are Africans- the most underdeveloped people, the only ones who still believe in superstitions? Why is it that despite all the rich charms- I haven't met a phenomenally rich nigerian? Why is it that these charms prevent nigerians from being on forbes rich list? And why do charms go for anonymity especially when people like (cough cough) Beaf- are trying to justify them with physics?

I just showed you guys a big loophole in your argument especially if you are using science. Assume charms are some advanced form of science- why is it that they always lead to misery, death and harm e.t.c by all accords (films/ idiots who belive in them)? Why is it that the Kwara boy could use it to beat Nuzo, but not use it to at least help Nigerians, win the wrestling  olympics instead of bullying young boys? Why is it that these advanced forms of science decided to make a home for themselves in the most wretched and poorest/underdeveloped section of the world?  Why is it that Afam with all the Juju he has seen, is still designing software instead of using the Juju to design it for him while he is sitting down- shebi the juju can fly and turn into animals- what is so hard about doing stuff? Questions after questions tell me that something is wrong with paranormal activity.

Then I saw someone here talk about Skull and Bones, then I just had to conclude how inane, the bunch of you are. Do you bloody know what skull and bones is? Calling it a society similar to juju societies is just plain stupid- like seriously what are you guys smoking? Skull and Bones is a society for the upper-class of america- nothing paranormal about it- just people making connections which would help them in their business and political function. Of course it has to be secret, to make it mysterious (so that idiots like the poster, would be fascinated with them- just like the opus dei- who are perfectly normal but were sensationalized by Dan Brown) and 2) Because a lot of the Skull and Bones come from elite families who make a lot of money on exploiting americans of course they have to be secret.

Afam did not win anything except the prize for Nairaland Donkey of the year, he is just displaying outright stupidity and making an effort to disregard logic for madness. His use of spurious logic and sophist responses defy any level of interaction.
Politics › Re: Okada Woman Calls A Woman A Cat After Hitting Her. Idiot Lagosians Proceed To Beat Her Until She "Confesses" by SEFAGO(m): 11:54pm On Oct 16, 2009
This was quite interesting so I would jump in a bit:

Now, let me repeat this again, I do not believe in charms but they do might exist. I do not believe in satan but satan sure could exists. [b]It would amount to ignorance for you to dismiss something simply because you do not believe in it (correct a bit).
That is a logical contradiction. You cannot believe in something and it doesn't exist- if you consider epistemological arguments- it is impossible for you not to know and to know. If you know something then it exists. If you don't it doesn't exist. What you are trying to say is you have never seen charms or you don't believe in charms- and that maybe charms don't exist. But then your belief was never justified if charms actually exist and so unjustified belief means no knowledge.

And someone mentioned something about quantum mechanics- which is a totally useless argument for proving anything. Beaf probably mentioned it to impress you guys, And I don't need math equations- I have taken a graduate class in quantum chemistry (500 level). For example, quantum theory claims time travel is possible is we go through forbidden regions through quantum tunneling, but time travel creates an ontological/predestination paradox. Like two classical examples 1)   Tim can go back into time to kill his grandfather, but if he kills his grandfather he cannot exist, and if he does not exist he does not go back into time to kill his grandfather.

2) Or I go back into time, and give newton a torn copy of [i]principia mathematica
(Newton's treatise on calculus and physics) without the author's name on it. Newton decides to copy everything down, and make his own book called of course- Principia mathematica   - the question become who discovered the equations of force and motion then.

I am just giving you guys an example of why science cannot always cohere all the time with logic. Not because science is wrong, but because science is built on probabilistic assumptions.

Long and short- This story is a big fat lie- the okada man just knocked an innocent woman down, mobilized his boys, they beat the woman for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. helped you summarize the witch story. This story is also full of contradictions- why, if she could turn into a cat not do so again front of people to escape? Is her only power a cat? if she could kill people- why was she allowing herself to get beaten up? Man anytime I am on Nairaland, and hear what ppl say, I just keep playing this song in my head :Zombie oh Zombie, Zombie, Zombie way go follow anyone  wink

I have to say his polite response makes me mellow down a bit (not like those christians who double contradict themselves, by being obnoxious online, while extolling God)- let him keep his beliefs I feel some people need religion. AS Marx clearly stated "religion is the opium of the masses."

I suggest you obtain a King James Version of the Holy Bible
But the bible is a human construction, how am i supposed to understand God-if he exist-, from the writings of mere mortal men  huh huh huh I don't try to, I don't pretend to and I definitely don't 419 people into thinking I have a personal relationship with the unknowable. When the day of judgement comes- I have a feeling God would let me into heaven for at least thinking before, I accept a belief. Or do you think the bible came packaged in a nice cover, neatly divided into various books for your daily devotion. By the way, I haven't only the read the whole bible- I have read the apocryphal books. My Conclusion, Christianity is a beautiful Jewish myth. Quite compelling, for those unwilling to self-reflect and question, but impossible to embrace for those who can think for themselves.

Hence my real problem with religion- it denies people their autonomy, and prevents independence of mind or the use of logic. Even if Adeboye kills a man- someone here would come and say "it is the bloody will of God."

Therefore, if a man of God tells you, he is talking to the Christian God then he is conning you- because the christian God does not likely exist.

I never said a God doesn't exist- just that if  the  God that pastor Adeboye (private-jet loving, luxury lover, and the great pretender), chris oyakhilome (bleaching, jerry curling, puffy-cheeked pastor) , chris okotie (funky, party loving, womanizing) if he does exist would be angry at you for encouraging deception- while at least as a nonbeliever, I am trying to open the eyes of fools- and so I have a better chance of going to heaven than you  cool. Of course if heaven exist, which is unlikely too.
Politics › Re: Pastor Adeboye Prays At UN Headquarters by SEFAGO(m): 5:51pm On Oct 16, 2009
I will be civil when i feel like it, but I just dislike organized religion a lot, especially when people follow it without reflection-it is a major problem in society

By the way the "holy ghost" is not always a  person, it depends on what christian thought or movement you are talking about. You are assuming I am a Trinitarian (I believe in the trinity), when I am not- so why should I spell it as Holy Ghost? The identity of the "holy ghost" as reflected in christian mythology (yep it is a myth) could sometimes refer to a power which is a thing.  Incase I am a Jehovah Witness, (the people who always come knocking on your door in the morning when you need sleep  undecided)- then I don't need to capitalize the holy ghost.

It is amazing to read destructive comments that some fellow Nigerians passed on this man of God who lifted the whole world together to God in prayer. People who make it a pass time to denigrate other people especially God's servants can only be doing so at a great cost to themselves. If God has put a garment of praise on somebody what right have humans to bring a garment of filth and insults?
Sharrap. By the way it is past time not pass time. After all the holy ghost should have helped you with grammar (hiss)

And what a beautiful bird she is too.   I get a boner just looking at her.   She is long and lean, every young man's dream, and she turns every head in town.  Well she is built and fun to handle, son, Pastor Eunuch's a lucky dog,
I think pastor adeboye needs the jet so that he can visit God for his congregation. God can only be reached by going  up there

So did you guys narrow your schools yet? I am having trouble doing so- for various reasons (I have so much stuff to do, I am stressed, lol). Also, I wanted to mention to you guys not to only focus on the US, you could try University of Alberta in Canada especially if you plan to do chemical engineering. The applications are free for people with an address in nigeria, they offer full scholarships immediately after acceptance for Masters, and they are located in the oil area of canada- its just really cold and sucky there- but if you don't mind the weather.

He's in Mechanical Engineering doing an M.Sc. Check the department site for the funding opportunities o'er there. I remember it was a scholarship for Africans and funded by MIT/ Total Finaelf. I'll send him a mail to get more details -only three Africans are sponsored yearly (that i remember clearly).
interesting that i have never heard of it. Is it only for mechanicl- ask ur friend.

Godeagle, thats a bit true, about the research part but I was just wondering about the funding, if you find a funded Meng, that is fine, and great for you.

@ SEFAGO, yeah I kinda felt that way too. But then, the advise to contact profs came from a current Petroleum Engineering Masters degree (not sure if it's MSc or MEng) student in Texas A&M. And who knows, I might decide to change to MSc when I get there.
I think if u are planning to do a MSc, apply to do so immediately. I dont know the funding position for Meng programs.

SEFAGO, sincerely speaking, you need to go and see a psychatrist for a comprehensive mental evaluation or betterstill, you can go down to synagogue ( Tb Joshua) for healing from mental disorder. Can't you see you're not making sense. You should know that one of the attributes of a mad man is that if he wants to say one thing, it is another thing that comes out from his mouth. Didn't you notice Nairalanders are letting you wallow in your folly. Pls try and heed my advice before it is too late.
TB Joshua is a quack, like all men of God-u shuld visit him instead if you want. I am perfectly sane, thank you. I do agree with you though I am not communicating effectively as much as I want- it makes me really really sad. Like actually very sad to find out that there are few people like me. Maybe I should let you keep your bigotry- your beliefs are your beliefs. I can't change them or make you see the light. But it was quite interesting discussing because it gave me more insight into how people hold unjustified beliefs without question.

Sagamite dont even bother with a response- I am done with you.
