Who are these so called party chieftains or sources that always reveal information to Nigerian newspapers...they (newspapers) simply observe the polity and make analyses base on their own submission. |
seriously? |
Thank you op, God knows victory is on our side... |
nice! |
Tdhforreal:Its now clear what your mission here is. I'm certain you are not a Yoruba person. |
Tdhforreal:You tried to paint the ijebus as the superior group among the Yoruba, I put you in your place by reminding you that though the ijebus are very good in business. However the greatness of the Yoruba ethnic group is as a result of the ingenuity of all the Yoruba subgroups. So tell me! who is actually unintelligent here? |
Tdhforreal: |
omonnakoda:Oga! its not really out of place to refer to the Yoruba as a tribe. However we may better be referred to as an ethnic group. The Ijebu definitely paid tribute to Oyo. You may wish to check out this thread; www.nairaland.com/2253499/picture-eleko-eko-london-england/13 I like the way Katsumoto lectured in that thread. |
The op is a useless bigot(probably not a Yoruba himself). You see, the great Yoruba tribe consists of many clans with different specialties...at least if the ijebus are the greatest in all aspects they would have been the runners of Oyo empire. Meanwhile they paid tribute to the Alaafin. Samuel Ajayi crowther, the Kutis, Herbert Macaulay, Gani Fawehinmi, Femi Falana, Tinubu and so on are not ijebus. My point is, no doubt the ijebus are the best in commerce but that is one aspect of what makes the great Yoruba tribe the greatest tribe in Africa which every other clan contributes to realise. |

dammytosh: Quarantine in this context is not a substance. You are right bro, I've edited the post. |
Ezedon: Is that insanity? What do you mean? |
I think the government should make the disinfectant substance in portable spray contaners that can be held in a handbag or in the pocket and be distributed to the public. With this, it will be easier for people to apply the spray in their houses and their body before or after being to a public place. I'm not a scientist, I'm just trying to profer a solution in my own LAYMAN way. What do you think guys? |
@op, do you really need a research before you confirm this fact ?...even Shekau will behave himself when around beautiful women. |
As much as I hate to see jonathan ruling nigeria in 2015. Nobody can deny him his right to contest in the election. The democratic power we have is to not vote for him. Therefore this man is actually worse and shallow in thinking than the ijaw man he is crucifying. |
I've been around since 2006 but finally registered in 2009 |
[quote author=jusRadical]I never said that any country officially banned christianity. What I said is that outright ban is better than indirect ban. See if I am going into a territory where Christianity is banned, at least I will know that the consequenses would be severe. But if a nation talks of freedom of worship but a particular religion takes it upon itself to enihilate other non-believers, while the authorities look the other way, then it is not safe. You can imagine sitting comfortably in a church in maidugiri in a country where there is freedom of worship and suddenly, you hear rat-tat-rat-tat-rat-tat-rat-tat then boooooooommmm!!!!! (guns and bombs) and every where is level all because of islam? What if the reverse is the case: christians killing muslims in the name of religion? In the whole world, it only islam that takes to religion based violence against other religions. Remember the recent case of muslims and buhdists or so. [/quot Then you don't have to quote me first because my post was to put it straigth that no muslim nation bans christianity officially. You should have understood me first before qouting me. The issue of terrorism aruond the world is an entirely different discussion that is completely irrelevant to my point. We can discuss that separately. |
jusRadical: Is not an indirect way of proscribing something. It is even better that the pakistani government bans Christianity than supporting their massacre.Oga! Let's get it straight, all what you have said remains violence against christianity and not an official banning of the religion by those governments. I never engaged you on either those governments support the violence indirectly or not. Nobody has any proof for that. The fact is no muslim country in the world presently officially bans christianity. |
jusRadical: I guess that you live in either neptune or jupiter. Start from among us like boko haram first.I hope you know the difference between banning christianity and violence against christians |
Just wondering where people got the info saudi, iran, iraq etc ban christianity... |
