What I am saying is an open secret. There's nothing hidden about it.

I was in the office just 2 days ago with an Anioma man. He reiterated the same things mentioned here.

He even said the Onitshas and Benin's still have a joint festival they do till today.

I know a Monye. He will never accept he is Igbo though he grew up in Aba.
lol....simply answer the question...do all delta igbos say they are not igbo?

Even during the colonial era, they called themselves Western Igbo's.

Even Onitsha people say they are Igbo's. That they originated from Benin. Google it
Lol...answer my question. Go and tell obi of onitsha that he is from benin...that u saw it on google

I totally do not believe that she's the first African to deliver a speech at Harvard university. She's "chestbeating" boastful over nothing like her people are known for in Nigeria.

I've personally read about many african and Nigerian that has delivered a speech at harvard eg. Vice president Yemi Osinbanjo delivered a speech and a lecture years back. He wasn't acting like her.

It's the Delta Igbo's that say they are not Igbo's.

Kwara Yoruba's say that are Yoruba's.

It's only the Yoruba speaking Okun people of Kogi state where some don't accept they are Yoruba.

I met one sometime back and did not have Yoruba mannerisms
u sure all Igbos in Delta say they are not Igbo?

Is OIL the only source of income known to you people? Romania has its own sources of income that surpass oil. They are into large scale car manufacturing for instance. Oil is not the be all and end all of everything.

And one last thing. The MAJORITY of countries on earth experience regular power cuts. The MAJORITY of countries on earth are developing countries. You are ignorant to describe nations in development as ''failed countries''. There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed about in being a developing nation. Every developed country passed through that stage. Go and read about Dickensian London. You would think they were writing about modern Lagos. The very same issues - inequality, poor sanitation, corruption, you name it. It took them a century of fighting those ills for London to get to where it is today.
There is a difference btw a developING country and a stagnant one. I have been in qatar for many yrs never ever experienced power cut

Thank you bros! What he have here is a classic case of burying your head in the sand hoping your problems would go away!

It seems they only chant this 'restructuring' mantra just to take some of the wind out of the sails of IPOBs demand for referendum! They want to make it look like there's a 2nd and much preferred option available to us.

Now after the effort, time and money wasted on that jamboree on Monday, everyone has gone back home and it's business as usual!

Even if, by some form of divine providence, the polity is restructured, the core Muslim north with their unfair numerical advantage in states and LGAs will ensure that whatever is agreed would be so watered down and insignificant to be of any use to anyone down south: they'd still have same unfair advantage in number of states/LGAs, still be leeching off the oyel and gas in the south, still ensure all the critical ministries, depts, institutions and security outfits (like the army, police, aviation, ports, customs, NNPC, etc) are in the exclusive list where they can still control and keep an eye on things, and continue in the quest of holding down the south so they don't develop too much and leave the north for dust!
The south needs to unite. From lagos to calaba from bayelsa to enugu. Then the south needs to tell the north how we want restructuring to be last last. Then the north might say no cos it might not favour them. The south will make a few consessions but still retain their advantages. The north might still say no yet again cos it doesnt favour them still.

Then the south will read the riot act to the north that will change Africa forever. THE LAGOS DECLEARATION will be the declearation of independence of all southern states as FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF SOUTH NIGERIA.

Lets see if north will win in the ensuing war.

I'm trying to make sense of the topic but I can't even see road because everything has turned to tribal sentiments. Just imagine the force we would be if we united and held our leaders accountable, but we are more interested in ethnic squabbles. Nigerians please let's leave all these aside for now. We have a greater foe.
has it ever occured to u that we get the leadership we have because our leaders know that our diversity wont allow us unite against them? France is 80% white-french and 90% christian, Saudi Arabia is 100% Arab and 100% muslim. Do u see why the rest of the world is progressing? Nigeria has 250 ethnic groups and languages and divide into 3 between Islam, Xtian and traditional believes.

I think wat we need is to fight for division first or at least true federalism then we can hold our regional leaders accountable

Answer 'Anioma' name.....what ever that means. Stop abusing our beautiful Igbo names and calling urself anioma. Also remove every Igbo word in ur language.

U are the one vexed not me. Until u do as I told u, I and other sane Nigerians will keep calling u Igbo. U dont like it? Do something
