Rossippi:
So why are you here if it's disbanded?

Why are you not on Biafraland website?

Just like you claim to want secession yet your people are spread all over the country more than anyone else.

Life of contradictions.
your people? Are you not igbo again?

You see while I agree entirely with what you have said so far on this thread...I must comment that you are a hypocrite... you want Nigeria to be better yet you go from one thread to another saying some of the most evil things about a group of Nigerians (a group that happens to be a very upward mobile and industrious group) while claiming part of that group whenever you are called out!

Do you not see that you are more part of the problem than solution. We know that no state governor will even read this your nice suggestions but many Nigerians will read your negative posts about igbos and flow with it...so you see the damage you do to the country you claim to love?

My advice to you is to either concentrate on posting these types of topics or concentrate on posting bigotry against Igbos... you can't do the two and think anybody will buy the former.

And please don't reply this thread by asking me what negative topics you posted about igbos...I won't reply that... you have even been banned many times before for that

PHijo:
When you say " petty division " , you are wrong!
We are not divided within the Nigerian context.

Biafra does not in any way serve our interests just as Nigeria as currently constituted does not.

1. Louis Edet was the most senior officer, it was a federal appointment and not regional. Eyo Ita was unceremoniously pushed out of office by the Igbo elite.
2.What the Fulani, Yoruba or Hausa did is not the issue when Biafra is being discussed. They all belonged to different regions.
3. It is not true the eastern region was dependent on coal from Igboland. Apart from that, oil palm, rubber, timber, marine commodities and ports all generated revenue from our area.
I honestly think we are divided in the eastern region. Yes we have a unifying factor in PDP but we are not working towards common agenda

That Eyo Ita emerged in the first place shows that Igbos were not bigots. Enugu's mayor as at the time was a Fulani man. Enugu was the capital of the region... imagine that!
Louis Edet emerged as at the time other easterners like Ironsi et all were emerging...that shows Igbos placed merit over clannishness. Don't forget we are the majority in the eastern region and we are not backward people...naturally we would dominate the region. Did ijaw not dominate old Rivers state? Is there anything you accuse us of that ijaw didn't do worst in the old Rivers state including siezing Igbo properties after the war!

What happened in other regions (including the old Rivers state) are very relevant in understanding how Igbos treated eastern minorities. Don't forget Adaka Boro was an SUG president in UNN!

Yes palm oil was the 2nd largest foreign exchange earner in the eastern region...was it not found all over the region including Igbo areas? Even up till now!

I say again...Igbos are guilty of many things but mistreating the minorities of the eastern region isn't one of them.

We should all work together like Arewa are doing

PHijo:
You are NOT for real!
We've already witnessed what Biafra would have been in the defunct eastern region and for the 30 months Biafra tried to exist.

By the way, why did Ironsi and Ojukwu quell Adaka Boro's attempt to break away from Nigeria only to want the same a few months later?

Why did Azikiwe insist on "one Nigeria "?

The division of Nigeria is not our primary motivation as Ijaw people. Either reforms or break up of Nigeria with respect for the interests of divergent ethnic nations.
just for my education and the education of those reading this and keeping in mind with the need to say the truth for posterity...can you answer these 3 questions.

1. What did Igbos do to the minorities in the east that Hausa/fulani did not do to the middle belt (remember the first premier of the east was Eyo It's and the first IG of police was Louis Edet)

2. What did Igbos do to eastern minorities that Yoruba did not do to the mid west ( remember it got so bad that the mid west started struggling to leave the western region)

3. When did oil get discovered in the eastern region and what was the main stay of the economy before oil ( was coal from Enugu not the reason PH city was created in 1919?)

I blame ironsi for many things but I don't blame ojukwu for declaring Biafra at all. Pregnant women from the east living in the north and west were being killed (including ijaw women) people were dying because of Nzeogwu's coup and just like buhari is doing in the case of Fulani herdsmen, Gowon was not able to stop the killing. Ojukwu declared Biafra when there was no other options just like yorubas have declared Ametokun today

Azikiwe can be blamed for many things including greed but he does not represent the Igbo man. He was born in the north and lived in Lagos before coming to the east... however he was actually the one who composed the Biafran anthem...did you know that?

Please answer my three questions.

I believe the Igbos, ijaws, ibibios and similar ethnic groups of SE and SS will form a very progressive country if we can come together like the tribes in the north has come under Arewa. We are holding ourselves with our petty division. We have a lot of shared culture and history and we have almost nothing in common with the core north that we share Nigeria with

I am glad Biafra did not succeed! It wouldn't have been too different from Nigeria. I wonder why Ojukwu was hell bent on including non-Igbo people in his personal mini-Nigeria called Biafra.
so we should be happy to stay in the actual Nigeria with northern and western Moslems?

Can you compare a Biafra with just 5 or 6 tribes, all majority Christians with a Nigeria with 240 tribes mixed with all sorts of beliefs

Can you compare small and manageable Ghana with very large and unmanageable Nigeria?

Are you for real?

The day you gain your mental independence and stop being a robotic dunce, and slave to Ojukwu and Kanu, you will experience a fuller life, you hear? Ewu.

Lol. Your inferiority complex is too glaring. Stop claiming Igbo and still fighting them. You will eventually run mad. All the recent threads you're opening all over to display your hate ends up making you appear deranged. My advice is that you should be contented with your origin and if there's any grouse you have with Igbos, you should challenge them head on. Be brave you coward.
A yoruba man should be brave? Ok good luck with that

Answer the simple question...are you a yoruba Christian or not?

Now can you say you reason like Muric?

When I saw the picture of him and Abaribe, I knew he really goofed.
Abaribe is already a senator for his constituency and only needs their votes but not national votes unlike Obi who might be going for the presidency or vice and needs votes from all zones.

He might just end up going for senate because he going for anything national is already dim.
We all can remember how pictures of the Hero beer was used against him in the last election because of the rising sun logo on it.
it still didn't stop him from winning 47% of south west votes even after massive rigging

Imagine when he is coming out as VP for Tambulwal and getting massive northern support...lol

The Igbos will never stop attacking any threat that has to do with the north...

Trust me... I will be giving it to them an eye for an eye
funny cos I'm Igbo and if you don't take my advice and stop with the attacks then you are inviting trouble in your threads

Misconception.

Yorubas don't hate anyone.

That's why Yorubaland is the most migrated to region in Nigeria.

Ask your brothers why they hate Yorubas.

Look at a post created a few hours ago by your fellow yoruba Moslem

I'm so disappointed in this judgement, not because I'm from Bayelsa or APC supporter, but because the people's mandate has been stolen.

What sort of a country is this for God's sake?
