but at the end your brothers will still cry of marginalization, Northern agenda and killing of federal character if your people are not appointed into certain positions in the president's cabinet.
Let me ask you a question..how will an igbo hustler in Abakaliki benefit from Igbo president?

However, the hustler in Abakaliki can benefit from Biafra by not having to go to Lagos every time to clear his goods when there are ports in port Harcourt
He won't have to depend on Abuja to tell him how to drill the oil in his back yard
He won't need a Fulani police officer to protect him from Fulani terrorists
Politics › Re: Restructuring: South Has Majority In The Legislative House, North Is A Minority. by selemempe: 10:08am On Jan 26, 2020
First of all, Mr. OP you are mistaken.

The north has more legislators than the south.

Secondly there is no consensus of what is the southern agenda.
We can only achieve a common goal if we have a common agenda.

One common agenda today should be the decentralisation of the police force to allow state government to control policing.

Southern legislatures brought it up during national conference?

how many legislatures from the south supported it?

The north told GEJ not to do what? you knew this because?

Before GEJ, have we not had leaders from the south? why did they not do it?

When you say north, are you saying all the states in the north are against TRUE federalism?

what about the middle beltans?

Has the southern legislatures even brought it up in the house before?
yes... during the national conference.

They said 1914 amalgamation has expired...that we should go our separate ways...

The north went to ask rock and warned gej and made him to say 'nigeria's unity is non-negotiable'

Do you know what that means?
That you can't even discuss Nigeria's unity in parliament

.

Look here selempempe. If Nigeria must break it has to do so without bloodshed. Tell all your southern senators and representatives at the national assembly to move motions at the assembly to bring it about. Since they are the representative of the people there. That is the way to go about it. Not by shouting ipob, OPC, and other nonsenses over social media. Ojukwu had the best chance to break Nigeria through war and we all saw the result. If Nigeria must break it should be done by consensus. But it looks like most southerners are truly not in support of breakup or ese their representatives know what to do.
smart words from the mouth of a Northerner. How will our representatives push it when the north has more senators and representatives?

Who will push when we have seen how the fg reacts at such things with high handedness.

War is the only way Nigeria Can breakup... because the north has made peaceful change impossible...and that war will come soon if the north keeps acting like they own Nigeria

I am not Yoruba and I will vote Atiku before I vote Tinubu. But if Atiku is not on the ticket I will vote Tinubu ahead of any other person. Why? Because he is wise, tactical, strategic, and detribalized. Nigeria does not need an ethnic jingoistic as president. If Atiku was an ethnic jingoistic like Buhari he won't have the kind of support he has all over. If you don't vote for Tinubu if he runs for president, there are millions of Yorubas and other detribized Nigerians that will vote for him.

All of you calling for blood and war with your inciting rhetoric need to check yourselves. You are enemies of Nigeria. Are you ready to fight a war over Amotekun? Regardless, all wars will still end up at the negotiating table after countless lives have been lost unnecessarily. The man is calling for a peaceful resolution to the crisis of Amotekun. Some yorubas can be very unwise in utterances. I don't support killer fulani herdsmen but if Nigeria must remain one then we must all learn to respect and accommodate each other. No ethnic jingoist can ever be allowed to rule Nigeria, and Tinubu has proved with his press release that he wants peace for all Nigerians while standing with his people.
Can you tell us why Nigeria must remain one?

Who benefits from the oneness of Nigeria?
Politics › Re: Amotekun: Afenifere Accuses Tinubu Of Doublespeak by selemempe: 6:42am On Jan 23, 2020
Tinubu is one of the worst things to happen to south Nigeria.
The man is the first southern leader who openly fought a southern president.
The first southern leader who openly instigated hate against another southern tribe because of political gains
The first yoruba leader who is not standing with other yoruba leaders

Tinubu would make the worst president if given a chance

You are clearly an economic illiterate. When the main source of meat is removed, the alternatives will become scarcer and more expensive. That is basic Economics 101.

And YES we will pay MORE than 5 times more for beef if we had to import it.

Do you think foreign beef exporters are paid in Naira? Where do you get this idea that increased Nigerian demand would make foreign beef prices fall? Increased demand leads to higher prices until equilibrium is reached between demand and supply.

Please, go and study market economics and international commodity pricing before posting anything further.

Something stupidly funny happened when I was making this video. We recorded the video inside our University's gym/dance studio and I played Ogene music all through the session. When had finished shooting, one man walked up to me and told me he recognised the sound of the Ogene music and told me he heard it's usually used by African tribes to make incantations and appease the gods.

Then he proceeded to ask me the most ridiculous question ever; He asked if I was playing the ogene music and dancing the way I did because I wanted to ask my ancestors to send us snow and make the weather normal again. (Saint Petersburg is currently experiencing the warmest weather in its history due to climate change)

I couldn't stop laughing when he asked me that question lol.

Kanu is busy pledging 1 million men to Amotekun and Yorubas are consistently telling him and IPOB to eff off so what is this your foolish nonsense about? Note that it is people that act , i.e North and SW, who have issues. Something will give. Why don't you just wait and watch by the side instead of trying to attach yourself to events unfolding by force and through your usual 'notice me' empty noise-making your useless Oga , i.e Kanu, is noted for?

Leave the heavyweights to fight. I have always told you lot that Nigeria is over if the Yorubas leave spiritually. We are not like others who fool themselves and can never leave their shops, businesses and wealth to fight for a worthy cause that will affect the future of their people.

The Yoruba have done fantastically well on this one. When people say they are sophisticated, this is surely one proof. And frankly I'm very impressed.

Now , beyond the talk, They must be encouraged to walk the walk. For many reasons not least of which is the impact on the entire sociopolitical texture of the country.

My Igbo folks, the south south, the middle belt, all must lend their voice in support of this very Noble move. This is not the time for politics of bitterness and reciting ancient history... No. What the Yoruba have done is effectively to sow the first seeds of regionalism and restructuring, and we all stand to benefit if it goes well. We also sink under fulani control if we allow the north to force a retreat if the amotekun idea.

To this end we must all be wary of the Greek gifts of the hegemonists. Any political favours to the south east at this time must be viewed with suspicion. Please and please, no one should play into their hands . Igbo governors must be particularly wary. Igbo presidency must be rejected if it is offered on the alter of betraying southern freedom.

Enough is enough. Let's all get this right. History is being made.

Damn, as good as this writeup could have been , i sighted just one turn off

It is not really the Amotekun the Danfodios are scared of. It is the fact that a Southern region was able to find the needed UNITY and COURAGE to look beyond partisanship and other mawkish considerations by setting up a regional security outfit to protect their people from a govt sponsored terrorist group masquerading as cow herders

I immediately knew it was written by LiePod agents

Cow herding has been a business since time of Jesus Christ and these disputes and killings have been happening in Nigeria since 1999 or before i have posted this thing here before , so to say govt sponsors herdsmen to terrorize other region / tribe is just stupid

CAPITAL NO NO
why do yorubas defend fulanis like stupid, shallow fans?

On ground, police officers posted in Benue state at the heat of Benue killings in 2016 said you dare not arrest a Fulani man in Benue for whatever offence. A direct order by the then CP of Benue.
Fulanis sacked and settled in villages for weeks without military or police moving in.

Tell me what regional effort to curb Fulani herdsmen excesses that has not been challenged or crippled by this FG? Even legal instrument like anti-grazing bills where declared illegal.
Do you see why Igbos dislike yorubas? Once Igbo takes a stance, yorubas unnecessarily take the opposing stance just to spite Igbos even if it's against their best interest. Is this type of abubaku not beneath you people? Who licks ass in the 21st century? Why why why do yorubas defend fulanis even when Fulani is fighting against them.

In the height of June 12 a yoruba man became president and spent his three months in office defending the injustice done to Abiola.
A yoruba man became VP to Abacha and spent 4 years canvassing support for him while Abiola languished.

Shame on all Abubakus. Double shame on you

be mindful of those that support you but can't support similar security outfits in their middle belt region because they target fulani herdsmen which they supports against their people.
yes they're on nairaland forming fake love for SW but sitting on the fence on critical issues like this because murderous fulani herdsmen might be affected and they support them because buhari their God is fulani.
