OMO IBO: Plus, Dbanj is more likely to become a pope than having his way with Sarah Ofili.
Bone story. . .if she can make out with Ikechukwu, then she's not beyond D'banj.

Wetin Ikechukwu get wey D'banj nor get and besides which kokolette wouldn't want to have a taste of the koko? grin

Which one is an allegation? That Aiyegbeni tried to bribe Onigbinde or that Yakubu & Yobo have hinted they'd prefer Keshi or that Keshi is an "egunje" collecting coach?

Abeg, go sleep jare grin

Gengen, film don reach action time and e don dey happen in typical naija fashion.

I pray and hope it's Siasia cos Yakubu & Yobo have hinted they'll prefer Keshi.

Keshi is as corrupt as our N50 collecting "olopas" & maybe Yakubu is hoping to bribe him like he attempted with Onigbinde in 2002 to make the Japan/Korea squad.

Siasia should go as far as GEJ if he has to cos Keshi will be making similar moves tóo.

5 Nigerians in the EG team? huh hmmm, that one go be problem oo. embarassed
5 Nigerians that were not good enough to play for Nigeria and hence were recruited to play for them in 2008. Just be like wetin Niger & Benin Republic dey do us grin

Anyway, they played a 2-2 draw with Cameroun while Ghana beat Algeria 2-1.

funkybaby: @ post
personally, i think its Brymo that deserves all the credit for making the song a huge hit. His vocals are just spot on.
True!

That said, i prefer Vector's version.  Vector murdered it  grin grin grin

I like his wordplay and the way he kept dropping lines in between/overlapping  the chorus.

tell me shawty wey i no fit screw  grin grin grin Classic !!
Vector was so fixated on wordplays that he forgot about the beat and let it go to "VI" while his flow headed in the direction of "Ikeja".

Unlike Ice Prince (who rode the beat from start to finish), he didn't ride the beat well which was a big minus for me. Wetin be the use of wordplays, metaphoricals & multies if it ain't in sync with the beat? huh

Vec took out the "music" factor from the song. Musically, Ice Prince's version is better, will be jammed more on radio, by the streetz and in clubs.

You should bow for the intelligence of a guy who is hausa and doesn't undastand yoruba but can write a yoruba hook. This is not speculation. Ice Prince wrote the hook. Ask Brymo himself.
Pray, tell. . .how is this possible? grin

Or did he write in English and got it translated into yoruba? huh

bishoprccg: The super falcons were really fantastic in their demolition of mali. they not only spelled mali, but added an additional letter to their name.
True but they were quite wasteful in front of goal otherwise we could have beaten Mali by as many as 10 goals. Next up is SA on Thursday. . .they must be shitting in their pants by now? grin

i like the way coach ucheria is rotating the squad with a blend of youth and experience
Me too. Team selection must be quite an headache for her cos the squad is filled with quality. In this competition, only Nigeria can dèfeat Nigeria grin

On an aside, the defending champions, Equitorial Guinea is playing Cameroun today. I'll love to see the match cos the gist is that EG has a "Caster Semanya" and 5 Nigerians playing for them.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Moderator Needed To Post Real Madrid And Barcelona Match Threads by semid4lyfe(m): 10:16am On Nov 02, 2010
This was also an expression of interest IMO. I'll say give it to medjai.

medjai:
I'm down but was Spanish football ever down for there to have been a resurgence? 6 Champions league trophies in 9 final appearances in the last two decades compared to the EPL's 3 Champions League wins in 6 final appearances. Add that to the Spanish national team's dominance of European and World football compared to England's trophylessness since 1966. My point is that there is no justification for there not to be match threads for La Liga matches. Viva la Espana, Forca Barca
Let me just add that apart from covering matches of Real Madrid and Barcelona, Nairaland should also cover star matches of other leagues e.g Inter Milan vs AC Milan, Inter Milan/AC Milan vs Juventus etc.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Moderator Needed To Post Real Madrid And Barcelona Match Threads by semid4lyfe(m): 1:20pm On Nov 01, 2010
Not only Barca & Madrid matches outside of the EPL but star matches from other leagues too. . .Serie A & Bundesliga for starters.

For example, Juventus and AC Milan played this weekend in the serie A but there was no match day thread for it.

I prefer Ice Prince's version. He had a flow & delivery which was more in sync with the beat IMO.

Vector's version was only better on wordplay.

Overall. . .na Ice Prince win grin

Oh, so you have finished applying the pancake and mascara so you're back for more bruising shey? grin

rokiatu: You are probably sleeping in Paris to not know that he won the best director award for Veer-Zaara in 2004.
Crap, Fallacy and total BS!

You must be extremely dense not to know that the four best director awards I referred to were at the Filmfare Awards (The Indian Oscars and most prestigious movie award in India) and not those other  second rate awards like the Zee Cine,  IIFA etc OR do you think the Oscars and MTV Movie Awards are on the same level? huh shocked

So if someöne says Steven Spielberg has won 10 best director awards, you'll assume he/she is referring to the MTV Movie Awards? shocked Jéez! Doesn't your body synthesize essential amino acids? huh

Veer-Zaara won best movie at the Filmfare Awards in 2004 amongst others but definitely not for Best Director.

You can prattle on on this thread and keep practising your english for all I care but I'm done with you.

It'll be easier for an elephant to pass thru' the eye of a needle than for me to drum sense into you grin

Adios!

rokiatu:
Dude, do not even try to educate me on KJ films. Matter of fact, I've watched all of his films. And some of his movies are actually among my favourite bollywood
films. Talking abt taste young man I think you are the one with an actually bad taste grin  KJ is a good director no doubt, but he is no way near the best in bollywood. When we talk abt best, I think of people like Yash Chopra, who directed films like Kabhi Kabhie, Silsila, Veer-Zaara etc. and he has the awards to prove it. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also a very fine film maker with films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas, and Black. Even KJ has enormous respect for him. Another one that come to mind is Rajkumar Hirani. Rakesh Roshan is also a very fine director. KJ is good but he has not reach the status of the best yet. I am a huge karan johar fan. I watch everything Karan from koffee with karan to all his films. (cuz he used srk in almost everything grin)
Madam, you are contradicting yourself. It's just like me saying Titanic and Avatar are my favourite movies but James Cameron doesn't rank among the best Directors.

Yash Chopra, admittedly is an excellent director and somewhat of a Legend in & out of bollywood but don't forget dude is a veteran  and has been around for like forever hence his 4 best director awards (all in the 60's & 70's) despite his numerous films.

Karan Johar on the other hand is just 38, has directed only four movies and already has a best director award under his belt.

Just for my enlightenement, pls give me your top 10 bollywood directors and top 10 bollywood movies.

P.S I am no voice of bollywood on nairaland, I am just fan, and my taste differ from another fan.
Naah. . .with all due respect, I beg to disagree ma'am. Despite what I posted, I doubt if anyone on Nairaland is more knowledgeable about Bollywood grin

Oya, run go apply your pancake & mascara. . .your face don change colour & dem don come off grin grin
