As much as guys on Nairaland criticize him, they also show him lots of love as well. I dare say the love is even more than the criticism. Just look at THIS THREAD for example. . .11 fukkcing pages of discussing/hyping & promoting his last "commercially" released album.

Lots of peeps commended & heaped praises on him and the criticisms were majorly constructive and positive. It was even out of the criticisms on that thread that he redesigned his album cover. That time, im nor remember to record video to thank Nairaland but im sabi record video for im haters and talk bad about Nairaland. . . and then he says he doesn't read comments here? Nonsense! I think the tutor Akpor Otebele is from the Niger Delta most likely Delta state (and of Ijaw extraction. . .cos Akpor means Life in Ijaw) followed by Edo state.

Let me ask, doesn't the government launch rescue efforts when storey buildings collapse burying people alive? Don't they dig through the rubble trying to rescue people and bring them out dead or alive? During massive floods in which houses are destroyed and people are displaced, don't the relief agencies (NEMA & Co) provide temporary shelters and food to the displaced? So what's make this case so different and make you guys think the government will react differently?  

I have no doubt in my mind a similar rescue operation would have been launched in Nigeria by the Government and the miners would be brought out eventually . . .it would have taken longer (more days) perhaps but even Chile had help from other more technologically advanced countries. We'd have outside help too if this happened here.

His movies are cultural and deeply rooted in tradition. He also tackles a lot of traditional beliefs and customs in his movies. The students would have gained a lot from movies like Saworide, Ti Oluwa ni Ile, Thunderbolt (Magun) etc.
